    Protx Direct v2.22

I'm sorry, but I've been back over your post and I still don't see what it has to do with Protx Direct or any other payment module: Vger
  2. You have to click the radio button next to the payment module. Vger

    QBI Quickbooks Import

Any news about a UK compatible version of QBI? Vger
  4. The default order status can be whatever you wish it to be - by resetting it in the module settings. So if you want the default order status to be 'Completed' then you can make it so. However, if your site offers downloads then it is advisable to set the default order status to 'Pending'. Vger

    Protx Direct v2.22

Use version 2.1c - the last one updated by Chemo himself. I wouldn't trust anything later than that. Vger

    Protx Direct v2.22

Why anyone would use any SEO URL's module other than Chemo's Ultimate SEO URL's on an Apache server escapes me completely. I can see the point of the module which works on Windows servers, but for Apache servers there really is only Ultimate SEO URL's that I would use. Never had any problems with using them with any payment module. Vger

    PayPal IPN?

If your site uses SSL (shared or full) then it already transmits the data as encrypted data - so in that case you don't need to do anything with those settings. If you don't have SSL then read the Install Guide that comes with the IPN module, because it provides links to the information you need. Vger

    Protx Direct v2.22

Yes. As this has nothing to do with Protx Direct try posting it in a more suitable forum and thread. Vger
  10. If you are unlucky and have one of those old two-folder setups - one for httpdocs and one for httpsdocs then the .htaccess file, and the other Ultimate SEO URL files, will need to be in both of them. It may also be that Mod Rewrite is not enabled by your host for https connections. Vger

    [CONTRIBUTION] CCGV (trad)

Although I no longer provide support for CCGV(trad) here I will make this comment about what "Open Source" means. If there is a home for "Open Source" then it is "Source Forge". At Source Forge the only people who can update a project are the Developer or Team of Developers providing it. Because something is Open Source (GPL) it means that people can take it, redevelop it how they want and pass it on to others. That doesn't mean that anyone and everyone should have the ability to screw up the original source files by posting idiotic "fixes" or "updates" to them. Unfortunately that's the way things work here - and that's why support and development for it has been moved. Vger

    Protx Direct v2.22

Yes, that's a normal apostrophy. So that's not the problem. Vger

    Protx Direct v2.22

If you have copied and pasted from a non-plain text editor, which applies formatting, such as Wordpad then you'll get non-sgml characters entered, and one of these is Windows own version of an apostrophy (not recognised except by Microsoft programmes). Vger

    Protx Direct v2.22

It looks as if you have "Use search engine friendly url's (still in development)" enabled. If you do then try turning them off and then see what happens. Vger

    Protx Direct v2.22

The IP address to give to Protx is the servers shared ip address - even if your website has its own dedicated ip address. Protx knows which site it is by the 'vendor name' supplied. Vger

You can do what you like on this forum because (as my post above) I don't support it from here any more. Vger

    Protx Direct v2.22

It's Tom you need to thank. I posted the original but Tom has been the one keeping it up to date since then - except for the "No shipping address" fix I posted this past week. Vger

If there were any particular changes you had to make, either to STS orCCGV(trad) then can you post them here? I can then add them as a help file to the next update of CCGV(trad). Vger

Did you enter GIFT as the start of the Model Number when you added it to your Catalog? If not then it won't be recognised as a Gift Voucher and just as another product with the name Gift Voucher. e.g. GIFT_25, GIFT_50 etc. Vger

    [CONTRIBUTION] CCGV (trad)

With CCGV(trad), provided you added the My Account option during the install, then you can send the Gift Voucher to someone else from My Account. There is no 'Redeem' button any longer in CCGV(trad) so either you are using an old version - or else you are using CCGV which I don't support here. Vger
  21. It's IE7, and I have javascript enabled. What I meant was that if I typed in something that didn't match any search term the page did not appear to do anything. People are used to having to hit a "Search" or "Go" button to get results - and I didn't even notice that it was doing anything and barely noticed a result (0 out of 0) posted underneath. I'd make the '"Results" a bit more noticeable. Vger
  22. Well, given that it doesn't do anything when I test it - I'd hold back on releasing it. Vger

    Protx Direct v2.22

Off-topic, but on the same website theme - here's one we did about a year ago: http://www.cswshopping.co.uk/ Vger

    [CONTRIBUTION] CCGV (trad)

The latest version of CCGV (trad) doesn't have that problem - because I removed the 'Redeem' button on the Checkout Payment page. The problem previously was that there were two 'forms' nested in that page and it wasn't possible to seperate them. If you clicked the Redeem button before selecting a Payment method then you got that error - which you would get anyway if you tried to proceed without selecting a payment method. By removing the Redeem button then all you have to do now is to click 'Continue' and it works fine. Vger
