We are proposing to include in a forthcoming publication a discount code - something along the lines of "Enter this code at checkout between 1st & 30th June and get a 10% discount on all purchases". It would, obviously, need to be the same discount code for all customers. I like the look of the "Credit Class & Gift Voucher" module mentioned in Chapter 9 of David Mercer's "osCommerce: Professional Edition", and although in its v5.21 it looks like a big job to install it, I'm prepared to give it a go. My problem is, we have a printer's deadline coming up, and we need to know the discount code in the next few days. Could someone who has used this contribution tell me if the discount code is something we can specify (which means it would be possible to advise the printer of the discount code now and set it to that value at the appropriate time)? Or is the discount code generated at the time the discount coupon is created, like a password? If anyone else has encountered this, I'd be gratreful for any advice. Many thanks, =WeeNed=

I am completely stuck trying to install the Additional Images v2.0.1 contribution available here: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/1032. I'm a relative newbie, but felt this would be within my reach. The only variation made to my set-up is that the Product Attributes bug fix given at this link has been installed: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/1032http.../browse/OSC-306. I have been carefully following the steps given in the install-readme.txt file. After the files in the /1_files_to_upload/ directory are uploaded, but before the files to be modified are touched, we are asked to: ...which, in my case, returns an empty page. No errors reported or anything. I have double checked that all the required files are uploaded, and none of the files have been inadvertantly changed in any way. All the other admin functions (including Product Attributes) appear to be working perfectly, as does the online shop itself. So, pretty well stuck; has anyone encountered this problem? Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated
