  1. I'd like to ask a context question: Without Header Tags SEO, how do we edit header tags in our files? Or, since OSCommerce is a database-driven store, is it even possible to individually edit header tags for each product file? Roger.
  2. Thanks for the info, but I also 'heard' you suggest that without outside knowledge of page optimization techniques, most of us wouldn't know how to use it effectively. Roger
  3. Thanks Jack, appreciate your quick reply. I installed this without even knowing that SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. I don't think I'm ready for Ultimate SEO URL's yet. I need to get this site up and running. But it still appears that Header Tags SEO will be useful on its own. With your previous comments, I should be able to find and fix the FCKEditor and the logo issue. Roger
  4. Carefully installed this today and it appears to be working--no error messages. Great, excellent, step-by-step installation instructions, but "how_to_operate" wasn't detailed enough to let me understand the admin options, or indeed, whether the installation is working as intended. I'll try again tomorrow and see if it makes sense. Seems to have overriden a previously installed contribution, FCKeditor WYSIWYG. Also it replaced store logo file with the default oscommerce logo.
  5. OK. Got the Define Main Page working fine from within admin.
  6. Just installed this contribution. The FCKeditor does appear and works fine when editing product descriptions in admin. Looks like a great contribution. However, I don't understand how to use the FCKeditor to edit the MainPage, or others, for that matter. In addition to the instructions for this contribution, do I also need to follow the instructions within each 'addon' directory? Also, does the 'addon' directory get installed at the same level as 'catalog'? Thanks for help for this newbie!
