  1. Hi OK I'll get some quotes, just very surprised there isn't a standard module for this, it must be a very common ask i would thought? Ash
  2. Hi We currently have a minimum spend for UK customers of £25, then free postage. We would like a flat rate for international shipping i.e. it will always cost them £10 in total however many items they order for standard delivery to anywhere outside the UK. Does anyone know how I can achieve this please? I appreciate the help. A
  3. Or do I need to remove UK from this list at all, not sure?
  4. I really appreciate the advice. I already found a module that sets the limited spend before it allows you to check out and that works well. The only thing left to do now is the zone, I've created a tax zone called international and chosen All Countries, however will this not also include the UK? Can anyone tell me how to remove the UK from the folder but leave the rest as all? Nearly there guys great. Regards Ash
  5. Yeah there is a long list of zone citys etc under Locations > Zones but none of these are offered as an option in the International shipping drop down, only the default Tax Zone of Florida. I just want anything that isn't the UK to be international, give that a flat rate and minimum spend for free postage then its done. How do I set the rest of the world to be the international shipping flat rate?
  6. It only offers Florida, how do mean a zone?
  7. Hi We have the free version of OSc and I'm trying to make some changes to the shipping options. Currently there is a flat rate set for UK postage which works fine, and a flat rate of £5 for international purchases which for some reason isn't attaching to the final price? What we would ideally like is to have the UK set as free for purchases over £25 and for the flat rate for the international to actually work. The screenshot of the page is attached. Any advice here would be great, I appreciate any help in advance guys. AJ
  8. Actually worked this one out, for future ref if anyone has the same issue: change file at /includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/item.php define('MODULE_SHIPPING_ITEM_TEXT_TITLE', 'International Per Item'); define('MODULE_SHIPPING_ITEM_TEXT_DESCRIPTION', 'International Flat Rate'); define('MODULE_SHIPPING_ITEM_TEXT_WAY', 'Royal Mail International signed'); ?>
  9. Actually an option may be, if we scale everything down, to offer just 2 options: Free 2nd class Royal Mail postage within the UK, and a set £5 per Item for international, very much simplifying. For this I would then need to change the wording for the 'flat rate' and 'per item' shipping modules, maybe someone can help me with this please, where would I change this text ?
  10. Hi Looking at the standard shipping options they seem to be either flat rate, per item or based on weight, rather than type of postage which we need. I need to get as close to below as possible: UK Deliveries Standard Delivery - Royal Mail 2nd class packet post FREE Special Delivery - Royal Mail Next Day packet post £7.00 optional Parcel Delivery - Royal Mail 2nd Class parcel post According to weight International Deliveries Royal Mail International signed for or Fedex According to weight I see there are a few downloadable modules, but which is the best to go for considering our requirements. phpMailer4osC contribution support

    Hi I have followed the instructions uploaded the class.smtp and class.phpmailer from the zipped folder and changed the email.php files in both parts of my ftp. We have then tried to purchase a test item but got the error: Warning: require_once(includes/classes/class.phpmailer.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/palmers/public_html/includes/classes/email.php on line 531 Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/classes/class.phpmailer.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/palmers/public_html/includes/classes/email.php on line 531 The instructions say to to put the class.smtp and class.phpmailer in the class require_once(DIR_WS_CLASSES . "class.phpmailer.php");
  12. Ok I've worked out its related to Email options: Mine say EMAIL OPTIONS: email transport method: sendmail email line feeds: LF Send email: true Use MIME HTML When Sending Emails false Verify E-Mail Addresses Through DNS false Is this incorrect ?
  13. Actually I understand the first thing now its just the actual checkout problem i.e. Warning: mail() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/palmers/public_html/includes/classes/email.php on line 522 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/palmers/public_html/includes/classes/email.php:522) in /home/palmers/public_html/includes/functions/general.php on line 45 with which we need help pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee. :0)
  14. Hi I'm having 2 problems when testing the check out using Paypal through my shop. I have a confirmation as the buyer in my email account from service@paypal.co.uk, and the admin says the order is 'processing', though my paypal account doesn't actually show it ? Not sure why I'd have an email from Paypal about payment, but it wouldn't show in the actual account ? I didn't use Paypal to pay, just the paypal checkout to use a card. The order section in my admin shows the following for this payment: 08/31/2011 14:29:41 PayPal [Transactions] Payer Status: unverified Address Status: Confirmed Payment Status: Completed Payment Type: instant Pending Reason: None Reversal Code: None The second problem is however that once I've clicked the 'Pay Now' button on the 'Review your payment' page, the next page shows /checkout_process.php in the url bar BUT the actual page shows the following error: Warning: mail() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/palmers/public_html/includes/classes/email.php on line 522 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/palmers/public_html/includes/classes/email.php:522) in /home/palmers/public_html/includes/functions/general.php on line 45 I'm not sure what is actually happening here, I presume the /checkout_process.php page is meant to be showing confirmation of the purchase back in the shop but frankly I'm really lost. we literally just need this to work and the shop can be launch, hurrraayyy, but only if we can seamlessly take payment. Any advice or help would be so very appreciated. Conrad :0)
