  1. Has anyone else had a problem using the CVV Help link? I always get a 404 Error and I think the problem is related to a slash that prepends the Help link. It's located in the languages/english/modules/payment/authorizenet_aim.php file and I don't think a javascript link really belongs here. I posted a release that eliminates this extra slash but I think there is a better way. Any ideas?
  2. I had the same experience baddog. I think it is ridiculous that authorize.net, which I believe is a pretty common service, does not work OOTB, but I am very grateful to the people who provided this module which works fantastically. This really needs to be merged into the core since the OOTB errors delayed our launch date significantly. And yes, the stock module doesn't support CVV2 and this one does. All the more reason to merge. Good job guys and thanks for the info!
  3. Honestly... get a new host. curl is a requirement for using this module, although I do believe it has a configuration set up for using a proxy CURL. But I do think you would be better off using a host that supports OSCommerce and basic ecommerce necessities like curl.
  4. I noticed that this contribution was originally created because AIM was not available in the suite of Authorize.net payment modules. However, it seems that now AIM is available as a standard feature with OSCommerce so I was wondering what benefits this module offers for AIM integration over the OOTB version. I am asking because I have been unable to get credit card processing to work using the default module and I am not sure why. I was wondering if this contribution offers different functionality or fixes known issues that may help us resolve the problem. Randeep

Admin gets returned to the login screen

To put it another way- what conditions might require this re-login to occur? I'm not sure where to begin looking. Does something in application_top.php or one of the other admin files perform a user validation step that might be failing?
  7. I tested an OSCommerce installation on my local machine that contains QTPro along with a few other contributions. It worked fine. However, once I had the site uploaded to our central server I observed a problem on this machine that I am not having on my local test box. I click on the "Stock" button and add a quantity for a particular attribute configuration (say, 20 units of Large and Red skirts). When I submit this, instead of seeing the change, I am taken back to the Administration login screen. Logging in again takes me back to the Stock page and the 20 units of Red, Large skirts are there submitted. Does anyone have an idea of what is causing this inconsistency? One other thing I noticed is that on my local machine, when I am on the stock page the Catalog menu category is selected on the left-hand side menu, but on the server box the Configuration category is erroneously selected. Weird, man. <_<

    Contribution Issue

This is a great contribution. I feel like it could do with a major improvement though. A lot of these extra pages contain content that is used to build up Page Rank and the URLs generated by this are not very SEO friendly. I was thinking it would be good to try to modify this contrib so that the pagename was used as the URL. Does anyone with a better understanding of the architecture of this contribution think that will be a tough thing to accomplish?

    Stop customers from ordering

DunWeb, Looked through the Admin Menus and I do not see an option for disabling checkout. Is this a standard feature or did you get this from a Contribution you installed?

    Ultrapics + Lightbox 2.03.3

I am in the process of installing UltraPics and notice that the folder "catalog/includes" is named "catalog/include", omitting the 'S' in the installation folder. Is this a bug that needs to be resolved in a new release? Methinks yes. Holla, Iced

    Stop customers from ordering

This looks like the right solution. Thanks Aran. Chris- I'm a beginner to this software package so I wasn't aware of this ability. I will look into it. How do you think the contribution Aran mentioned differs from your solution? I assume this contribution would not have been created if it didn't offer something beyond the norm.

    Stop customers from ordering

That doesn't sound like the right solution for me. I don't want to take the whole website down- I just want customers to be unable to order. It would be great if customers and search engines could continue to browse the site (do a little window shopping) until making orders was available again.
  13. My client is going to be going away on vacation and will not be able to take any orders for her website during that time. I was going to install the Down For Maintenance contribution but I believe that is not the proper one for her purposes, as she will still want search engines and customers to be able to navigate the site- they just should not be allowed to order anything. I am sure there is a contribution that can stop a customer from ordering but I haven't been able to find it. Any ideas? Thanks, Randeep

    Down for maintenance v2.3 Help

You might want to try restoring your code chunk by chunk to pre-DFM state and see where it breaks.
  15. Okay- forgive my "newbness" here: obviously that 1.25 to 2a was just for people upgrading (although I think a little more in the documentation regarding this would be helpful). I downloaded pwa_2_0a.zip (does the 'a' stand for alpha?) and am in the process of installing it. Firstly- is this the right version? I am using OSCommerce rc2a. As I go through the process of merging the files in this release I hit upon a change in includes/classes/order.php: line 69 (!) of the file in the PWA version omits the inclusion of 'id' => $order['customers_id'] in the customer array. Also line 147 includes c.customers_login which doesn't exist in the original. I am thinking these changes are probably intended, but I wasn't sure because these changes seem to be unmarked while other changes are surrounded with PWA BOF and PWA EOF comments. BTW- I wouldn't have been able to use OSCommerce for my client if this feature was not available so a big Thanks to all the people that helped develop it and made it what it is. Randeep
