  1. John/Mibble, Thanks for responding and positively at that! :) I'm going to start right in on it.
  2. I am curious about this also as I have the Mo Pics module installed and would perfer not having to hand modify 1000's of products. Along the same lines - does this handle attribute fields? Can one assume that any field inside your catalogs product information is doable with this modification? Does Dave respond to queries on his contributions anymore? He hasn't posted here since Dec. 10th. Anyone know? Anyone have successes they'd care to contribute so we can judge the functionality of this mod? TIA! :)

    [contribution] "osC_GiftWrap_v1.0"

I added a pop up link to show a giftwrapped package at the slection (yes/no) for gift wrap. If you have more than one, I suppose you would need to get creative with radio buttons OR simply show al selectionsl in the popup and ask the customer to use the comment box to state their selection.

    Event Calender

    Forgot to mention - Running flavor 08/07/2003 - Events calendar 2.0 MS2 on Linda McGrath's SEC/GC OSC MS2 2.2

    Event Calender

I have applied/modified the two areas above in my application_top.php file alas when someone attempts to login at my site they are redirected to the calendar_content.php?_month=&_year= page instead. :o Help! BTW - admin, everything else works just fine and dandy. Just a problem with the login getting redirected.

    eBay Auction Sales Manager 1.0

You will only run into problems when you auction off gift vouchers. It will work fine to use gift vouchers in conjuction with the EAM during checkout. I wish! I am using Linda's SEC/GV version of OSC and on a normal check out the gift voucher subtraction is no longer done from the total. Any clues as to where I need to look to get this functionality back? I've been popping around the likely suspects of files, but am obviously not seeing the malfunction. ANY help would be appreciated.
  7. I've tried to make it work, but no luck. I modified the header code below to eliminate the shopping cart box and show the shopping cart info and GV info in the header at the top of the screen. In the /catalog/includes/header.php file find the following code: // check session.auto_start is disabled ?if ( (function_exists('ini_get')) && (WARN_SESSION_AUTO_START == 'true') ) { ? ?if (ini_get('session.auto_start') == '1') { ? ? ?$messageStack->add('header', WARNING_SESSION_AUTO_START, 'warning'); ? ?} ?} ?if ( (WARN_DOWNLOAD_DIRECTORY_NOT_READABLE == 'true') && (DOWNLOAD_ENABLED == 'true') ) { ? ?if (!is_dir(DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD)) { ? ? ?$messageStack->add('header', WARNING_DOWNLOAD_DIRECTORY_NON_EXISTENT, 'warning'); ? ?} ?} ?if ($messageStack->size('header') > 0) { ? ?echo $messageStack->output('header'); ?} ?> Add this code after it and modify its format to suit your needs and store layout: <!-- Start Header Mod Here --> <!-- Delete existing code section and post to the Design Notes. ?Replace with code section below --> <table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="margin-top: 10"> ?<tr class="header"> ? ?<td valign="middle" width="265"><?php echo '<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT) .     Problem with RMA Return contribution

I also added to catalog/return_product.php the following code. When the RMA number is returned to the customer, it gives them instructions on how to return their product. Perhaps I missed something, but I didn't see this anywhere in the mod. <tr> <td><?php echo tep_draw_separator('pixel_trans.gif', '20', '20'); ?></td> </tr> <tr> <td class="main"><B>Follow these instructions for returning your item.</B> <OL><LI>Package item in origjnal shipping container, if possible. If not, carefully package in a cardboard box with sufficient padding.<LI>Include copy of original invoice.<LI>If item had product packaging, documentation, cables, power cords, manuals, software, etc. They are to be returned with the product. Incomplete product returns will be returned to you and your refund denied.<LI>On outside of package add RMA number shown above. Packages not displaying a valid RMA number are refused and returned back to the sender.<LI>Address your package to <BR><B>BUSINEAME Returns<BR>BUSINESS STREET ADDRESS<BR>BUSINESS CITY STATE ZIPCODE</B>.<LI>Insure your package. We are not responsible for additional damage or loss of package during shipping.</td> </tr> I place this at line 288. On my page the code above is placed AFTER <?php if ($HTTP_GET_VARS['action'] == 'sent'){ $text_query = tep_db_query("SELECT * FROM " . TABLE_RETURNS_TEXT . " where return_text_id = '1' and language_id = '" . $languages_id . "'"); $text = tep_db_fetch_array($text_query); // tep_db_query("INSERT into " . TABLE_RETURN_PAYMENTS . " values ('', '" . $HTTP_GET_VARS['id'] . "', '', '', '', '', '')"); ?> <tr> <td><table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2"> <tr> <td class="main"><?php new infoBox(array(array('text' => '<center><font color=blue size=4px><b>Your RMA number :- '. $HTTP_GET_VARS['rma_value'] . '</b></font></center>'))); ?></td> </tr> <tr> <td><?php echo tep_draw_separator('pixel_trans.gif', '20', '20'); ?></td> </tr> <tr> <td class="main"><?php new infoBox(array(array('text' => nl2br($text['return_text_one'])))); ?></td> </tr> I am know there is a way to set this up to automatically take text from an english file after setting up something like infoBox(array(array('text' => nl2br($text['return_text_one'] I just don't know how to do it to automate it to insert the info (business address).

    Problem with RMA Return contribution

This is the "out of the box" file from the contribution with my HTML modifications. This should work for anyone's OSC running this. Just rename your old file to a .bak extension and upload this new one. Should be fine and dandy. FYI I am running Linda McGrath's OSC/SEC/GV MS.S2 flalvor.

    Problem with RMA Return contribution

I added a new comment_bar_return.html file to the contribution package. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1136
  11. Hi Dylan, Thanks for the code however I am at a loss as where to place it. I assume froogle.phop but my search for strip_tag only resulted in 4 finds and no clear indication (at least to me) on where to insert the code. $row['v_froogle_products_name_' . $lid] = '"' . strip_tags(str_replace('"','""',$row2['products_name'])) . '"'; $row['v_froogle_products_description_' . $lid] = '"' . strip_tags(str_replace('"','""',$row2['products_description'])) . '"'; and function print_el( $item2 ) { echo " | " . substr(strip_tags($item2), 0, 10); function print_el1( $item2 ) { echo sprintf("| %'.4s ", substr(strip_tags($item2), 0, 80)); }; If possible could you go the extra mile and look at froogle.php and let me know what line this should be put at?
  12. Hi Jim, Does this go into froogle.php? I tried placing it above the first <?php call at line 868 which is <?php function ep_get_languages() { $languages_query = tep_db_query("select languages_id, code from " . TABLE_LANGUAGES . " order by sort_order"); // start array at one, the rest of the code expects it that way $ll =1; while ($ep_languages = tep_db_fetch_array($languages_query)) { //will be used to return language_id en language code to report in product_name_code instead of product_name_id $ep_languages_array[$ll++] = array( 'id' => $ep_languages['languages_id'], 'code' => $ep_languages['code'] ); } return $ep_languages_array; }; etc. No error but the resulting exported froogle file still contains the & nbsp; and carriage returns. :-/
  13. A customer of mine would like to place a category of new but damaged items up and we thought this might be a nice addition to the mark down price. I was looking this contribution over but didn't see any modifications done to any admin files. This leads me to believe that this option (offer price) will show up on all product listings. Is this a correct assumption?
  14. For the most part my export of data for Froogle was good. However, I found numerous instances of & nbsp; throughout my descriptions. Also carriage return spacing. All other instances of HTML code (fonts, bold, paragraph, etc.) were successfully removed. Is there any code I can snag to add to froogle that will eliminate these stray bits so I don't have to hand edit the exported file?
  15. Hi!!! I am using IE build 6.02800.1106 Thanks so much for the reply I will see what happens as soon as I finish my 1st cup of coffee. Just woke up. :)
