    Customer Add Product

Here's what I did to my english.php: define('MY_ADD_PRODUCT', 'Add new product (subject for approval)'); define( 'MY_ADD_PRODUCT_TITLE', 'My Wish List'); define('MY_EDIT_PRODUCT_TITLE', 'Edit product'); Such that when a user looks into "my account" page, he'll see the last box for adding products with a title of "My Wishlist" and links for adding and editing products.. The install instruction is somehow misleading on those three lines.

    [Contribution] MATC

everything works except for that cool disabled button effect.. any advice where to look into?

    [Contribution] MATC

I'm using anti robot validation contrib in user account creation. as long as i have entered a correct validation code, even without checking the MATC checkbox, by just pressing enter, the account will successfully be created and will completely bypass MATC. What do you think?

    [Contribution] STS v4

have you solved this problem already? i'm having the same problem with infobox corners inside the $content. the box headings are a bit tall and wouldn't match the height of the corner images. i also modified mine but they only fit the boxes in the left and right column but not in the center.. Also if you want to change the border color on your infoboxes on left and right, if using the full template+infobox templates, look inside "boxes" folder and edit infobox.php.html. <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000" style="border-collapse: collapse" bordercolor="#111111"> <tr> <td bgcolor="#000000"> </td> The first bgcolor takes care and changes the color of the right side and bottom of an infobox. The second bgcolor takes care of the left infobox border. This is really very cryptic for me. i wish there's one template where all the areas including the very tiny corner of an infobox can be changed without messing with the osCommerce' stylesheet, or guessing what this <td bgcolor=green> is used for. Would be much better if the templates are heavily commented like for example, if there is a <table> tag, one can say, this table contains all the infoboxes in the left column, and this table contains the breadcrumbs and several links on the right side of the screen. I'm new to html designing and I just read about how one can change the layout of a website by using tables. Aside from that infobox corner images, adding an item to the cart will not show anything in the middle of the page or the content area. It only says, "What's in my cart". Perhaps I will just try to solve all my customization problems in the front page before trying to solve this one. I also commented these two lines (catalog/index.php) in an attempt to remove that annoying "What's new here" in the frontpage and just display the Login and Register links. <!-- <td class="pageHeading"><?php echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></td> --> <!-- <td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'table_background_default.gif', HEADING_TITLE, HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td> --> Oh man, designing a website is such a difficult task specially if you're not really a web designer.. First you have to come up with a logo. Next, the website layout. then there are those glossy, gradient effects you can try achieving in your image editor. One thing i noticed with big sites, like microsoft, ebay.. their websites are really quite simple.. not much text just a couple of glossy boxes (man I wish i could create those as well!).

    [contribution] Simple Template System (sts)

Don't know where to begin.. Hi, I'm new to osCommerce but have a lot of experience in configuring open source applications. My usual habit is to always refer to the manual first and if there's something I don't understand, I will try to search the forums or dig the mailing list archives first before actually posting my questions. So far I didn't have any problems configuring osCommerce. I even followed various beginners tips, like those "How do I's" for beginners. STS was mentioned in this thread, "how to create awsome osCommerce website". The first thing I thought of doing was customizing the look of my website. So I followed the advise and successfully installed STS 4.5.8. However, when I started reading the manual. I couldn't get anywhere. The installation manual is fine. The User manual is a bit reference-type in my opinion. For someone who doesn't have a prior experience in website development, I was at a dead end. So what I did, I focused on the site functionality first. So far I have the following contributions configured and working the way they should without messing each other's functionality. Ulimate SEO URLs Order Editor Auto Thumbnailer using GD Must Accept Terms and Conditions Anti Robot Registration Validation Fast Easy Checkout Quick Updates AJAX shopping Cart Latest News Bank Transfer Western Union Who's Online Enhancement Scrolling Best sellers Product Listings in Columns Now I decided to start all over again with STS, and I told myself this time, I'm not giving up. Again I finished reading the user manual but I still don't know where to begin. I tried testing my STS installation by enabling the "full" template but it broke several contributions I have like scrolling best sellers, I want to have a really awsome looking website but I don't want to break any of the above contributions I have installed. I wish there is a howto for STS. STS can change the look of anything, right? I can position boxes wherever I want, center the entire website, change the bottons and icons, position them anywhere I want, etc. Should I install DreamWeaver in order the make my website designing easier? Should I have installed STS powerpack instead of this in order to avoid problems with other contributions? Do you have a really awsome sample website that made use of STS? If STS is the third most downloaded application, what was the first and the second? I was trying to find this contribution rankings but I haven't found it yet. (only the most downloaded for the day) Any tips or links to forum threads or howtos is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
