    [Contribution] STS v4

    Bill, I had your guide printed out before I posted, but I wanted to ask first. So I'll go HTC 2.6.3 with STS 4.5.8 using those steps. In my opinion, STS is the greatest contrib ever developed. I couldn't imagine trying to design (and optimize) osC without it. Thanks a million to Brian, Rigadin, and you!

    [Contribution] STS v4

    Hello everyone! (and especially Bill :D ), What's the best way to go to use HTC & STS? I've got a fresh install of RC1 and I'm tempted to use the STS Power Pack I saw, but I'd like to use the latest and greatest 4.5.8 STS (longtime fan from the very first version). I tried HTC 2.63 first and then STS 4.5.3? on top of it and it kinda blew up in my face. :-" So I'm asking for some advice instead of trying to hammer another (incompatible?) pair together.

    This worked for me: First, you mention an expiration of 1.4.2004 - is that January 4, 2004? If so, it's already expired! Set it to all zeros to never expire or some *future* date :D Second, try changing (DIR_WS_MODULES . FILENAME_NEW_PRODUCTS); to (DIR_WS_MODULES . FILENAME_FEATURED); at the end of your index.php file, like so: <TR> <TD STYLE="background: url(images/design/bg_center_top2.gif) no-repeat left top;"><BR><?php include(DIR_WS_MODULES . FILENAME_FEATURED); ?></TD> </TR> <?php include(DIR_WS_MODULES . FILENAME_UPCOMING_PRODUCTS); ?> </TABLE></TD> </TR> <?php echo CONTENT_BOTTOM_FIRST_TABLE; ?> </TABLE> <?php echo CONTENT_BOTTOM_FIRST_TD; ?> </TD> <?php } ?> <!-- body_text_eof //--> <?php if (COLUMN_RIGHT_DISPLAY == 'true') { echo '<!-- right_navigation //-->'; require(DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'column_right.php'); echo '<!-- right_navigation_eof //-->'; } require(DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'footer.php'); ?> <?php echo ENDING_TAGS; ?> <?php require(DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'application_bottom.php'); ?>
  4. It's not in any php files, these are fields to be added to the products_description table in your MySQL database. My host has Cpanel, so I ran PHPMyAdmin to modify the database. Took me a while to figure it out, since php and MySQL are new to me - just hacking my way (and blowing it up) as I learn. ;)
