  1. I have everything installed but when I try to generate the feeds, I get this error.

    In Firefox:

    Content Encoding Error

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.

    In Safari:

Safari can’t open the page “catalog/admin/feedmachine_auto.php?force_update=1”. The error was: “cannot decode raw data” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1015)

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

  2. I've tried this too, but unfortunately it doesn't work. However, the checkout does complete and move to checkout_success if I log in using a previously created account. Again, if I manually create an account, then go to checkout, it also works with no problems.

It does appear to be related to creating the account using One Page Checkout, but I'm not sure where to look ... ?

    Cheers

I have that same exact issue. Everything works fine as long as the customer already has an account. Checking out without an account or trying to create an account while checking out does not work.

I saw that Steve had the same question about a month ago. Did Steve ever get the create account issue resolved?

  3. Is that on trying to create an account or user already loged in, if you upgraded you will neeed to remove old sql for create account and replace with new sql from install see previous page for this

    Steve

That is only when trying to create an account or checking out with no account. This is a completely fresh install.

Do I need to also have purchase without account installed for this contribution to work correctly?

I will check the database to make sure all the columns were correctly inserted and get back.

    Thanks!

  4. Everything works except when I click to continue to checkout, it loads the checkout_process.php but it never checks out. It just loops back to the checkout.php page with the same product in the shopping cart and the CC is never processed. If the user logs in, this doesn't happen.

We are using the CC module not for production use and have QTPro and CCGV installed.

Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any ideas?

  5. Everything works well!

Does anyone know where i change where the box is positioned? I don't see a simple area where it defines this.

I would like it to "pop upwards" instead of downwards. Usually i can position it by simple negative pixels but i cannot find the code that affects the positioning.

    Thanks

  6. We have an issue with the "next page" where it loops back to index.php. I've researched and looked through all the threads and read the "fix". However, i cannot find that piece of code in my seo.class.php. I have the 2.1D install.

This is the link that is given when i try to go to page 2.

    http://www.buydefinition.com/catalog/index.php?page=

It gives the same exact link whether i am in the "new items" page or on any of the manufacturer category pages that have more than 1 page.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

  7. My Review and Take on this Contribution:

My experience with the Ultimate SEO Urls v2.1d contribution; Not Good!

Install went very smooth, even looked like everything was working perfectly --- until...

Can't access products from the categories box on left (using categories2.php) - seems I'm also getting a malformed url - ie. xxx.html?product_info.php?&id=424 or something to that effect. (not going to go double check as I now only have my live site to work with - temporarily.)

I still had the osCsid issue that others have had no matter what my settings, except I do not use force cookies as that limits some people from being able to even browse your site, let alone make a purchase. (I have this problem on occasion as well and just leave the site - as an example; I have wanted to order several times from Vista Print now for over a year and can't even send them an email - can't get to the site to get the address!! - Sooo, I just gave up and now use a local printer == no less than $500 in lost sales (so far) for Vista Print!!)

Since the above issue also prevented from adding to the shopping cart I needed to back this out quickly and I didn't do the things that I should have BEFORE I worked on this contribution. (Also why I am sharing this evaluation with you.)

To fix this FAST! (Yes I installed to my live site without FULLY testing!! - Very Stupid of Me - and I KNOW better!! ) I renamed the .htaccess file to dot.htaccess, comented out the function inserted into the /catalog/includes/functions/html_output.php file, turned off SEO in the admin panel, and reset the cache to clear things up. I won't be turning them back on until I get all of the stuff reinstalled (from scratch) on my dev server. (Had problems with Zend Optimizer on another project - hosed the system)

Anyway, the above issue caused a "Product not Found" to be displayed when I clicked on a product link from the above referenced location or from some but not all of the product links in other parts of the site. (Now this is why I just said forget debugging until later.)

Do you know which part of the code to bypass? The website was workign fine for a day and then all of a sudden, we are having issues with our website in the URL redirect. All that shows up is this redirect when you click on the manufacturer. catalog/-vp-1.html?osCsid=82b11b85c37b98806762df6250cebbe6 . Does anyone know what's going on? We also have the FWR verification installed.

    Thanks.
