    Paypal Problem or OSCommerce ?

Since the new style " You have received a payment" email from paypal my shipping total is not been displayed on the email. When you view the Transaction in Paypal it is displayed with Postage and Packaging on 2 separate lines. Is this a Paypal problem or OsCommerce problem please. Thanks in advance.

    NEW! Complete Order Editing Tool!

Hello I have installed this and its all working fine. How do you use it though ? I wanted this to adjust Shipping costs before a customer goes through checkout. But you cannot edit the customers order until they have been through checkout, once through checkout there is no point. I have payments through Protx and Paypal. Am I missing something here please. In my test account, I can go through checkout, select PayPal. And get directed to the paypal site. Once there I click "Return to Store" I can then edit that order and add the extra postage. BUT when I go back through checkout again it defaults the postage to the table rates. Is this how this great addon is supposed to work or have I configured it wrong. Thanks.

    FCK WYSIWYG HTML editor

When I first started my site I painfully added 600+ items the default way, adding br code etc I have just installed this editor and bloody hell HOW MUCH EASIER is it. Many thanks for this. Simply Superb   I only encountered one problem. I had to make a folder in public_html called "userfiles" Nothing goes in there when I upload pictures etc. Is that right, cheers

Paypal IPN payment not being sent

Mine is doing this right now. Had it all working in the sandbox perfectly, IPN was sending me details of the transaction. But today.....Final checks before I go live and first of all the sandbox site was showing as offline. Then its back again but when I make a order it all goes through OK but the cart does not clear on return to the shop and I get NO IPN information or email about the order. Anyone else having similar issues. I am using PayPal_Shopping_Cart_IPN_v3.1.4 I have changed any files or anything.

    PayPal IPN Problem

Its not that bad. I'm new to all this and found it quite easy but did take longer than the other one. At the end of the day it works so I wasn't bothered. The other one worked but I just had that one error that I mentioned. I asked for help on a number of threads but no one helped so I tried another contribution which worked with no faffing around.

    [Contribution] U HTML Emails

Right I checked again and found I had made a mistake with inserting some code... MODIFY THE FILE catalog/admin/orders.php ######## FIND ######## if (isset($HTTP_POST_VARS['notify_comments']) && ($HTTP_POST_VARS['notify_comments'] == 'on')) { $notify_comments = sprintf(EMAIL_TEXT_COMMENTS_UPDATE, $comments) . "\n\n"; } I inseted BEFORE the last bracket  Everything works now, "Order Process" emails are in HTML form from Protx and Cheque/Postal orders BUT bloody Paypal is still playing up. If someone pays using Paypal and completes the checkout process. The "Order Process" is in normal text form. If I update that orders status though the email is sent in HTML. I am using PayPal_Shopping_Cart_IPN_v3.1.4 by the way Crazy

    [Contribution] U HTML Emails

Hello nice work with this but I am only receiving html emails when using "Cash on delivery, cheque or postal orders" If a customer pays via paypal or protx the get a normal text email. Im have tried with both supplied layouts. Also with development mode = True. And pay by cheque/postal order i get this error.... Warning: fopen(Last_mail_from_checkout_process.php.htm) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/ians/public_html/checkout_process.php on line 297 can't open error log file Am I doing something wrong, I have gone through the install.txt twice and checked all files and everything seems fine. I updated the database via phpmyadmin
  14. I think there is a lot of confusion with regards to Paypal IPN payment modules. I was using the new one (PayPal IPN Module v1.0 For 2.2MS2) and was looking for help in the wrong places. I was read help and questions about (PayPal_Shopping_Cart_IPN) which explains why I could not find certain code  The later is far better IMO although it is older and takes more setting up for a nooby like me.

    PayPal IPN Problem

Additional info from Paypal page source.... On the error page... s.prop1="p/xcl/error"; s.prop14="Some required information is missing or incomplete. Please correct your entries and try again."; s.prop15="invoice"; s.pageName="p/xcl/error::_cart"; And on the working page after I return to my store and click refresh on the confimation page... s.prop1="xpt/Merchant/hostedpayments/standard/Login"; s.pageName="MF:Unity:3rdParty:WA:Login"; s.channel="MS-PaymentFlow-Unity"; Some help would really be appreciated, cheers.
