  1. Thanks again Jack ... and yes the php version I have is 5.2.17 and therefore I'll try and use v1.1 addon. And yes even if you try and run it manually or with the change you have suggested above, the problem will still occur. I will let you know how I go with v1.1 addon.
  2. Hi Jack! This is the email message I get from trying to run the cron job: Fatal error</b>: Call to undefined function date_diff() in <b>/~/admin/auto_update_currencies.php</b> on line <b>83</b>
  3. Thanks Jack ... appreciate your help!
  4. Also the auto_update_currencies.php opens with <?php and I do not see where it ends with the ?>
  5. I have installed V1.2 and also gone into /admin/includes/filenames.php to update 'FILENAME_CURRENCIES' to 'auto_update_currencies.php'. When I try to open the currencies update from admin I get this error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function date_diff() in /home/content/78/4534778/html/admin/auto_update_currencies.php on line 83
  6. I have just uploaded your latest auto_update_currencies addon, cannot run it because it was initially complaining about a missing date_diff function. I then source the function from ver 1.1 but updated the last line with the recommended change to " return $nhours". Now I'm getting the following error messages: Warning: strtotime() expects parameter 1 to be string, object given in ~/admin/auto_update_currencies.php on line 29 Warning: strtotime() expects parameter 1 to be string, object given in ~/admin/auto_update_currencies.php on line 30 Fatal error: Call to a member function format() on a non-object in ~/admin/auto_update_currencies.php on line 98 Any idea what I may be doing wrong? ...
  7. Thank you again Jim ... I now the download working with the .htaccess file and please note the change I have made for "Force download" ... I have only included the extension .pdf because that is the only file type that can downloaded for the moment...: # Prevent directory listing IndexIgnore * Options All -Indexes # Secure directory by disabling script execution AddHandler cgi-script .php .php2 .php3 .php4 .php5 .php6 .php7 .php8 .pl .py .jsp .asp .htm .html .shtml .sh .cgi Options -ExecCGI <Files ~ "\.(php*|s?p?html|cgi|pl)$"> deny from all </Files> # Don't show this file <Files .htaccess> order allow, deny deny from all </Files> # Force download files AddType application/octet-stream .pdf Cheers Ollie
  8. Hi Jim! Thanks for your response ... I am now able to download the files by removing the .htaccess. However, is there a security risk in having the /documents folder without the .htacess file? Cheers Ollie
  9. Hi Jim, I installed your wonderful contribution without a glitch but I find that when I try to download any of the *.pdf files from my website I only get the first 621 bytes of the file downloaded and therefore unreadable. (You can try downloading from http://www.chameleonisland.co.nz/Forms). I have checked security permissions from my server provider and they have no problems there end. Thank you for help. Ollie
  10. What a wonderful contribution ... I installed it without a hassle and have added my first document (form). For some reason when I try to download it, it doesn't download completely ... a file of 756kb only downloads 620kb and therefore cannot not be opened or read by a pdf reader. (Please have a look at my website: www.chameleonisland.co.nz ...Click Forums under Documents on the on the left column and try to download a any form). Not sure what to check as I have looked at others who had problems before but not what I am getting. Your help will be greatly appreciated!
  11. Hi, I have been doing runs with your excellent nz shipping module and found that my currency conversion does not change the default currency (in NZD) of the shipping costs in your module. Is there a way of fixing this? I also noticed that for some reason, the module is not picking the correct weight of my purchased products ... do I need to change something in the code? Cheers Ollie
