auctionTastic

Robert, What a great contribution. I've managed to install this on a heavily modded website. The admin section works and the auctions are listed. This is really cool. However, when I click on the auction listing (after logging in) it directs me to the product listing and I am not able to bid. I can't click on anything. No bid buttons Hope you can help as I obviously missed something. Thanks for a great contribution

ASN Forum for osCommerce

In catalog/asn_reply.php change line 59 tep_redirect(tep_href_link('asnf_index.php', "id=$id",'SSL')); to tep_redirect(tep_href_link('asnf_viewtopic.php', "id=$id",'SSL'));
3. Which file are you referring to to make these changes in ?
4. Is there anyway you could include "upgrade instructions" to the package ? I have added so many addons to your wonderful iOSC contribution that I do not want to start from "scratch" again. Any separate instructions on how to add your Ajax support for categories would be greatly appreciated.

Sitemap SEO

Yes, I had it showing up as well. I tried to repeat the error but now it does not show up anymore. With me it happened in Configuration/Sitemap SEO and cicking on one of headings. I just clicked on all of them and nothing happens. However this is from the admin error_log [27-Feb-2009 05:39:23] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function addmissingboxes() in /home1/xxxxx/public_html/admin/sitemap_seo_box_control.php on line 181 [27-Feb-2009 05:41:55] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function getpagesarray() in /home1/xxxxx/public_html/admin/sitemap_seo_page_control.php on line 90 [27-Feb-2009 05:42:06] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function addmissingboxes() in /home1/xxxxx/public_html/admin/sitemap_seo_box_control.php on line 181 Hope this helps
6. Don't forget to put Google Analytics in the catalog/mobile/includes/footer.php file. Monitoring this for three days showed (in our case) 27% of our traffic was redirected to the iPhone. Now it will be interesting to see how many want to browse the full site.
7. Add a website specific icon to the homescreen of the iphone. Create a 59 x 59 apple_touch_icon.png file with your website logo and place it in catalog/mobile/ directory.
8. For those of you that wish to add a login/logoff button to the header of your pages. In catalog/mobile/includes/classes/header_title.php Find $leftButton = " "; and replace with if (tep_session_is_registered('customer_id')) $leftButton = '' . tep_image(DIR_MOBILE_IMAGES . "logoff.png") . ''; else $leftButton = '' . tep_image(DIR_MOBILE_IMAGES . "login.png") . ''; Don't forget to create a logoff.png and login.png file !!!! and put those two files in your catalog/mobile/images folder. If there is an alignment challenge, change these three lines: <td class="headerTitleLeft">' . $leftButton . '</td> <td class="headerTitle">' . $this->title . '</td> <td class="headerTitleRight">' . $rightButton . '</td> to: <td align="left">' . $leftButton . '</td> <td class="main" align="center">' . $this->title . '</td> <td align="right">' . $rightButton . '</td> If you wish to remove the login line from your account go to: catalog/mobile/account.php and add two front-slashes (//) to line 23: // echo tep_mobile_selection(tep_mobile_link(FILENAME_LOGOFF), array(HEADER_TITLE_LOGOFF)); Send me a pm with an email address if you want the login/logoff buttons
9. Thanks for adding the mobile redirect. Can you explain how the redirect works ? For instance, it does not redirect from the home page. This might be because I made a few changes. It seems to redirect everywhere else which is fabulous. Especially the products page. FANTASTIC JOB.
10. I have sitemap instaled and my robots.txt file has this line included: Sitemap: http://mydomainname.com/sitemapindex.xml Will there be a conflict ?
11. I added this code define(DIR_MOBILE_CLASSES , 'mobile/includes/classes/'); require(DIR_MOBILE_CLASSES . 'mobile_redirect.php'); $mobileRedirect = new mobileRedirect; to catalog/incudes/appication_top.php before the last ?> When I type in www.mydomainname.com in the Safari browser on the iPhone, it correctly re-directs me the the catlog/mobile directory. However, when I click on the icon PC Site, it keeps coming back to the catalog/mobile directory instead of the Full website. Anyone else have this happen ?
12. Bumbarash I am wondering if it is possible when a visitor on the mobile website is on a products_info.php page when he/she clicks on the PC Site button he/she is automatically redirected to the corresponding PC Site product page instead of the index.php file ??? Looking forward to your response.
13. Sultanos, You also have an error on your product pages (the bottom) Customers who bought this product also purchased Warning: Division by zero in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/108552/webspace/httpdocs/includes/functions/html_output.php on line 191 Warning: Division by zero in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/108552/webspace/httpdocs/includes/functions/html_output.php on line 191
14. I copied and pasted the two files files above and ran it through a compare software. They are identical <????)
15. The only thing I can think of that in your index file there is: tep_redirect(tep_href_link (FILENAME_PRODUCTS) instead of tep_redirect(tep_mobile_link(FILENAME_PRODUCTS) Not sure why that would be .....
16. I had the same kind of problem but it was fixed with the line define ('SEO_ENABLED', 'false'); Perhaps removing this line will help ???? Do you have SEO URL active Just a thought. I really like this contribution as well.
17. Try making your changes in the mobile/includes/config.php to the following <?php define('DIR_MAIN_HTTP_CATALOG', ''); define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/mobile/'); define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', '../images/'); define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', '../includes/'); define('DIR_MOBILE_IMAGES', 'images/'); define('DIR_MOBILE_INCLUDES', 'includes/'); define('DIR_MOBILE_MODULES', DIR_MOBILE_INCLUDES . 'modules/'); define('DIR_MOBILE_CLASSES', DIR_MOBILE_INCLUDES . 'classes/'); define('DIR_MOBILE_HEADERS', DIR_MOBILE_INCLUDES . 'headers/'); define('DIR_MOBILE_LANGUAGES', 'includes/languages/'); define ('MOBILE_IMAGE_WIDTH', '80px'); define ('MOBILE_IMAGE_HEIGHT', '80px'); define ('FILENAME_MOBILE', 'mobile.php'); define ('FILENAME_PRODUCTS', 'products.php'); define ('FILENAME_ABOUT', 'about.php'); define ('FILENAME_SEARCH', 'search.php'); define ('FILENAME_LANGUAGES', 'languages.php'); define ('SEO_ENABLED', 'false'); ?> Take out the "osc" reference
18. I've been able to add the Extra Fields Contribution - although still working on alignment challenges. In your next release, can you capitalize the Search button in the top menu.
19. YES, the images are now displaying. Thank you for this great contribution. I have another request. I have the following contributions installed in the shop and am wondering if they are compatible with iOSC. 1) Product Extra Fields 2) Extra Images Again, you've done a great job and thanks for being here to assist us.
20. As Javier mentioned, I believe the following contributions causes the images not to display: 'On the Fly' Auto Thumbnailer using GD Library here is what shows for the properties of the image: mydomainname.com/mobile/product_thumb.php?img=../images/5-Star.jpg&w=75&h=80px The home page shows: www.mydomainname.com/product_thumb.php?img=images/5-Star.jpg&w=141&h=150 Hope this helps.
21. The directory structure is not different. In catalog/mobile/includes/configure.php I have the following two lines related to images: define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', '../images/'); define('DIR_MOBILE_IMAGES', 'images/'); There is only one reference to define('DIR_MOBILE_IMAGES', 'images/'); in the general.php file I have tried everything but to no avail - all I get is ? for images
22. What about a symbolic link ? from catalog/mobile/images/ to catalog/images ???
23. Another thing that is happening. I have the contribution SEO URLs installed. When SEO urls is enabled, the link in iphone contribution redirects it to the "original" product eventhough the browser address still states localhost:8888/mobile/ When I disable SEO urls, all works like it should. Anyway to make this contribution compatible with SEO URL's ?
24. Bingo - works on the localhost. Thank you. Now if I only could get the images to display.
