  1. Hi there,

    I've installed this contribution and am using it with the Paypal Express module on 2.3.1.

    The download expiry date on the order confirmation screen (when you return from PayPal) is 7th December 1999, and when the order is updated it corrects to 7 days in the future. Can anyone suggest why the order is returning from PayPal with that expiry date, and suggest how to fix it please?

  2. I've installed this contribution and everything works great - thank you!

    My only issue is that the download link is not available automatically after ordering - I have to update the order status for it to appear.

    I've got the order status 'Download Now Available' (ID=15) to be the automatic status once a PayPal order is completed, and also set this to default. I have also set order id 15 as the value for 'Downloads Controller Orders Status Value' in Configuration>Download.

    When I manually update the order status the link appears, but on completion of the order this doesn't happen automatically - can anyone help please?

  3. The link for that page contains .../catalog/admin/FILENAME_ARTICLES... The FILENAME_ARTICLES means a definition is missing. You need to go through the instructions and find where that was supposed to be added. If you missed it, you may have missed others so you should review all of the instructions.

    That's fantastic - I don't know how I managed that...

    That problem's resolved, however when I click the option I now get:

    Warning: main(includes/functions/clean_html_comments.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /homepages/25/d281443498/htdocs/baseretail/catalog/admin/includes/header_tags.php on line 14

    I'm going back through it but can't find this reference...

  4. Hi there,

    I have an OSCommerce store selling printed canvases, and I would love to have a facility which enabled customers to upload their image(s) after placing an order so we can download and print them.

    At present we email them to request they email the images through - a bit clumsy!

    I can't find a contribution related to this, and was wondering if anyone else has included an upload facility in their store?

  5. Have you ran Fill Tags? is the product checkbox checked on the product_info page in Page Control?

    Jack

    Many thanks for this - it seems to be a problem associated with uploading products through Easy Populate. When added I have to go back in and add tags to the categories and products through the admin system. If anyone knows if there's a system I can use to associate Easy Populate with Header Tags SEO I'd be very grateful :)

  6. Hi there,

    I have two small problems with my installation of this contribution, and I was hoping someone might be able to help?

    Firstly, I can't get the product name to display in the page title. It adds the shop name and the category/sub-category, and then a seperator, but no product name after this.

    Perhaps linked to this problem is that it is also displaying the title at the bottom left of the product_info.php page.

    I'd be really grateful to anyone who can help!

    Link to the problem page: http://www.basecanvasprints.co.uk/catalog/...products_id=123

  7. I'm thinking this may not have been the most been the relevant thread to discuss other ways to improve the search facility.

    Has anyone else become frustrated with the search mechanism and the way it displays results?

    I've done lots of searching within the forums and through google and everything has led me to this single thread. If anyone can tell me how they've improved their search facility I'd be really grateful.

    Hi there,

    I originally got a programmer to set up my osCommerce site, but after a couple of years of editing the code I'm ready to install this contribution.

    I prepared all the files but fell at step 2 of the readme file! In it I'm instructed to modify catalog/advanced_search_result.php:

    FIND:

    <tr>

    <td class="pageHeading"><?php echo HEADING_TITLE_2; ?></td>

    <td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'table_background_browse.gif', HEADING_TITLE_2, HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td>

    </tr>

    BELOW ADD:

    <tr>

    <td class="main"><p>

    <?php if (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['plural']) && ($HTTP_GET_VARS['plural'] == '1')) {

    echo TEXT_REPLACEMENT_SEARCH_RESULTS . ' <b><i>' . stripslashes($_GET['keywords']) . 's</i></b>';

    } else {

    echo TEXT_REPLACEMENT_SEARCH_RESULTS . ' <b><i>' . stripslashes($_GET['keywords']) . '</i></b>';

    }

    ?></p></td>

    </tr>

    FIND:

    $breadcrumb->add(NAVBAR_TITLE1, tep_href_link(FILENAME_ADVANCED_SEARCH));

    $breadcrumb->add(NAVBAR_TITLE_2, tep_href_link(FILENAME_ADVANCED_SEARCH_RESULT, tep_get_all_get_params(), 'NONSSL', true, false));?>

    ABOVE ADD:

    // Search enhancement mod start

    $search_enhancements_keywords = $_GET['keywords'];

    $search_enhancements_keywords = strip_tags($search_enhancements_keywords);

    $search_enhancements_keywords = addslashes($search_enhancements_keywords);

    if ($search_enhancements_keywords != $last_search_insert) {

    tep_db_query("insert into search_queries (search_text) values ('" . $search_enhancements_keywords . "')");

    tep_session_register('last_search_insert');

    $last_search_insert = $search_enhancements_keywords;

    }

    // Search enhancement mod end

    But I can't find either of those areas of code in the file. My advanced_search_result.php looks like this:

    <?php

    /*

    $Id: advanced_search_result.php,v 1.72 2003/06/23 06:50:11 project3000 Exp $

    Can anyone help? I'm sure I'm being really stupid...

    On a separate note, I'm hoping this contribution will significantly improve the search facility, as I'm frustrated that when a customer enters a search term, if the operator is set to 'and' it will not return a result if they add anything that isn't explicitly in the description. Alternatively, if it is set to 'or' it will return hundreds of results. The latter would be fine, except that there is no relevance to the order.

    Is there a way to display search results in order of relevance? ie results which contain more than one of the search terms would be at the top.

    Any advice is really gratefully received
