I have over 5,000 items in my store. Since the last batch of new products I can no longer download a complete file of my products (either download or to the temp directory). It appears the server keeps timing out. Any solutions? Is there a way to split the downloaded file? HELP!

Sure. You would lose the ability to include dashes in the product, category, and manufacturer names though. You can just add str_replace calls in rewrite.php and the tep_href_link function. I GOT IT WORKING! Still doing a thorough test, but everything appears to be in order. I have OsCommerce installed in the root, and I finally tweaked the rewrite.php to eliminate all references to 'catalog', and it worked! I can't wait to see how this impacts the rankings. I have been holding solid, ranking just behind my competitors that have product names, etc in the URL. So I am betting this will help. If anyone would like to see my code for a root installation, let me know and I can either PM you or if it is okay, I could post it here. Just let me know. Burke

Could someone please post thier htaccess and rewrite.php files that does not have their store in the /catalog/ folder? I have mine installed at root, and I cannot get these rules to work. Thanks for the help! Burke Jones

Can anyone help me with this install? I am running Max with the BTS. What files do I need to modify in BTS to get this to work? I just did the install. Seems to work only it breaks the middle cell in my cart. It forces the width of this cell, and screws up the display. Any thoughts?
