  1. Fantastic contribution SO glad I found it - its just what I was needing help with and it was here all the time! Installed it and all working fab first time. One small question - its nothing major but just something that is a little annoying to me. When you set the 'display delivery weight' to false in the admin section - at checkout correctly the weight doesn't show but there is a pair of empty brackets where it would go if the 'display delivery weight' were true. Is there anyway to make it so that these empty brackets don't show? I know its nothing major, its just one of those things. If anyone could help I'd be most grateful.     Shipping Tables

    Sorry if this has been covered before but I've looked and looked and can't find it if it has. This is driving me stir crazy!! I have a UK based oscommerce 2.3.1 store that sells heavy and light things. I would like to give my customers a choice of shipping methods i.e. 2nd class recorded, 1st class recorded, special delivery etc. I have created 5 shipping tables to enable me to do this. Table 1 - 2nd class recorded prices, Table 2 - 1st class recorded prices and so on and so on My problem is this: How do I make it so that if a weight is not on the shipping table it doesn't come up at all rather than be an available option at checkout with a cost of zero? Whilst testing this I have set the following: Table 1 - 0.1:1.64 (2nd class recorded) Table 2 - 0.1:1.94 (1st class recorded) Table 3 - 1.0:5.95 (special delivery) So, for valuable jewellery items I have made all their weights in my store at 1.0 so that the only option available for shipping at checkout is special delivery (recorded delivery does not insure jewellery items) - so I don't want this method of shipping available for these items. However as there is no weight specified in table 1 or 2 for this weight, the price is showing as zero at checkout_shipping and is available to be chosen by the customer! I have attached an image to show what I mean. If anyone can please please help I would be very grateful.     I've found out that the reason it was showing this text is because there was no definition for the error code an enquiry has already been sent. Please try again in 15 minutes. The definition is now in place however the problem is that it doesn't send the enquiry and an email wasn't infact sent in the last 15 minutes. I have gone through all the files that I was given the link to but really don't know what the problem is. Any help would be very appreciated, this is doing my head in!!!     Thank you for your response, I am beginning to realise this more and more as I go through things on my site, there are many 'little' problems. Unfortunately I cannot get him to fix the problems as he is working on another project and doesn't have time. Are you able to point me in the right direction so that I can fix this myself? I realise its a big ask but its so frustrating having lots of little problems on my site. I'm working through them, have managed to fix some and am still researching some, but I'm drawing a blank with my research on this one. I would appreciate any help that you could offer. Many thanks

    Hello :) I am having a few problems with my recently upgraded site. It was upgraded by a professional programmer that I hired who unfortunately isn't now available as he is working on other things and I really would like to iron out the problems with my site and I'm not brilliant with the new set up either so am finding it difficult to understand. One of the problems is on my contact us page, I have 3 fields Name, Email Address & Enquiry. When these are filled out and the continue button used it doesn't actually send me the enquiry and just returns to the same filled out page but with the header error message ERROR_ACTION_RECORDER I have searched and searched to try to find out what this means but cannot find anything that really relates to my problem.     Only show shipping for correct country?

    That's brilliant thank you. I had already done that but overlooked that I hadn't assigned one of the zones, therefore it was using them all all the time. Thanks so much for your help :thumbsup:
  8. Please is someone able to help as I've trawled the forum and can't seem to find an answer, apologies if there is an answer somewhere. Is there a way to make sure only the shipping for the correct country shows up at checkout? I have two types of shipping UK and Non UK but both show up at checkout for the customer to choose. Unfortunately Non UK customers always choose the UK postage as obviously its cheaper for them! If they then proceed to pay then they have not paid enough as the postage isn't correct. Is there a way to make sure UK postage show only for UK addresses and only Non UK postage for NON UK addresses. I really appreciate any help that is offered. Many thanks :thumbsup:

    Hi markg@dpie.com, Thanks for the response, I will post the question in the thread as you suggested - just wasn't sure if I should do that or not as it seems to have been a while since anyone has used it. In answer to your question the osCsid is different for the same user - am not great at this stuff, don't know what the osCsid is or anything - am trying to learn but is taking a very long time!!!   10. Hi there, I appreciate there is a support thread for the who's online enhancement but it seems that the last entry was quite a long time ago, so would appear that it's not in use anymore. Is anyone familiar with this contribution? I believe I have 3.5 installed and it works absolutely fantastic - wouldn't change a thing - except one!!!!! Is there any way to stop the duplicates appearing? For instance my store can say it has 12 guests online, but when I look it could be the same person over and over and over. I appreciate that the enhancement tells me that its a duplicate but would rather there was a way to just show who was online once so that I knew that if it says I had 12 guests then they were 12 different guests. Does that make sense? I have read through the support thread but it doesn't seem to cover this - is there a way I can fix it please? Many thanks

I don't even know if it's possible to do what I'm trying to do? :blush: I have the Google XML Sitemap Feed contribution installed in my store and I would very much like it if the sitemaps had the name of the product rather than the ID of the product. At the moment they are like this: http://www.angelsbodystudioltd.co.uk/onlin...products_id=533 I would prefer it if they had the description instead. i.e. http://www.angelsbodystudioltd.co.uk/onlin...art_inset_studs I don't know if this is possible to do this but would be grateful if someone could let me know. I have installed the purchase without account contribution and it works great thanks :thumbsup: but I would really like a couple of changes and didn't know if someone could help me with the code to make this possible? I would really like the page title to say 'My Contact & Delivery Information' as I think that as it currently stands with 'My Account Information' it is a little misleading for customers. I appreciate that the contribution is using the create_account.php but just condensing what information is requested but I wondered if there was a way to make it show a different title for the purchase without account. I would also like the navigation bar at the top to show Catalog>>Delivery Info rather than Catalog>>Create An Account Could anyone please tell me if this is possible and if it is what code I should be looking for to change?
