Dear All, I thought that I had managed to get all the bugs out of this contribution and was jumping for joy to have it all setup and working as I wanted. Today I have noticed a major issue when I use Internet Explorer 8 or 9 :o . After adding a product to the cart, you proceed to the checkout page. Then... 1, If you’re a new customer, you fill in your details then click checkout button. IE then hangs and then crashes. 2, If you already have an account, you sign in using the checkout.php page, all the fields are populated, but the ajax keeps refreshing (Loading…) at the bottom of the page then after 2 or 3 min it just stops but then the checkout button doesn’t work. Very occasionally it will stop after 4 or 5 min and when pressed it takes you to PayPal as normal. I have tested the site using Internet Explorer 8 & 9, Google Chrome, Firefox 4 and Safari 5. All the browsers work perfectly except Internet Explorer. The shop is at: allaccessories.co.uk Site is OSC 2.2 RC2 and OPC 1.5 Please take a look and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Hi, I have been building a new OSCommerce 2.2 RC2 store for a customer. I have added CCGV (Credit Class and Gift Voucher/Coupon V5.21 contribution) and One Page Checkout 1.4 for MS2 2.2 CCGV comes with a PayPal Standard module which you then make some minor alterations to for OPC. This works fine until you add a discount, PayPal doesn't take any notice of the discount and charges the full price. OPC comes with a PayPal IPN module, again works fine, but the discount is ignored by PayPal. If I use PayPal Express, the discounted sum is passed over to PayPal. I don't want to use this as a detailed description isn't passed over or the discount, just the final sum. What I need: I need to be able to apply a discount code to a shopping cart and for it to be displayed in the OSC shop order (this works) PayPal to detail the discount (this doesn’t happen) PayPal to detail the items description in the PayPal invoice (this happens) PayPal to inform OSC shop that a payment has been received (Happens if I use the IPN module) I need this resolved asap as it's holding up the whole project. I have searched everywhere for the past two days and it's becoming a real hair puller. Considering all those who seem to be using this config, why isn't there a PayPal module that works? Hi, I am looking for some guidance if you have the time. I have installed Credit Class and Gift Voucher/Coupon V5.21 contribution for osCommerce RC2/RC2a into a site along with Open Page Checkout. The OPC went in first and that seems to work fine. Today I finished putting in CCGV 5.21 and that too seemed to go in ok except I have an error somewhere. When I go into the Admin Area, Modules - Order Totals page, it isn't loading fully. I don't get any errors but when I look at the "view page source" from my browser, the last entry is this: <tr class="dataTableRow" onmouseover="rowOverEffect(this)" onmouseout="rowOutEffect(this)" onclick="document.location.href='http://www.mywebsite.com/admin/modules.php?set=ordertotal&module=ot_total'"> <td class="dataTableContent">Total</td> <td class="dataTableContent" align="right">5</td> <td class="dataTableContent" align="right"><a href="http://www.mywebsite.com/admin/modules.php?set=ordertotal&module=ot_total"><img src="images/icon_info.gif" border="0" alt="Info" title=" Info "></a> </td> </tr> Does anyone know how/where to look to find what could be causing this? All other pages in the admin area work fine. On the Modules - Order Totals page, I see the header, left column and list of modules, but no right column (to install modules) and no footer. Thanks Jack, Now that you say this, I somewhat remember altering that about a year ago. When I first built this shop (it being my 1st and only) I think I may have altered the code to purposely do just as it's doing. For the past week, for some reason, I've had it in my head that the shop was acting as a fresh install would. I'll go back to an original file and look up my alterations. Dear All, I too have installed Coupons By Ingo and use Paypal IPN to process all my payments. I am getting this same issue. I have been through the PayPal forums and read (dated Feb 2007) that it is not possible to process a coupon (negative amount) with Paypal IPN. Is this still the case? If it is, will I be any better off using Discount Coupons contribution? or should I look at a different way of collecting the money? Please advise before I remove all the code alterations for this. Just a thought, Does PayPal_IPN require a line to include the coupon reduction? Something like this? Hi All, I have installed this contribution, and all is now working (not at first, also needed to install coupon module in the order payment, thanks for the hint) The problem I have is that PayPal is not deducting the coupon value. I have tried the coupon in all 5 positions in the "order total modules". The discount appears correctly in the checkout page and the sums are correct, but once it gets to PayPal the coupon isn't applied. Is this an issue with this module or within the PayPay payments page settings? What order do you have your "order total modules" in? Please help. All the best, Phil

Jack, Sorry, me again. Please could you advise me as to what I need to alter in the root/index.php file so that the category description is also displayed on pages without any subcategories. These pages currently only display a list of products. I know its only a small alteration, but can't find it. (can't see the wood for the trees) All the best, Phil

Dear Sam, I have just noticed one other small issue. If I open my site with http://www.ladiesoflove.co.uk the carousel doesn't display, but if i type http://ladiesoflove.co.uk then it does display ?!?!? Do you have any ideas as to what could cause this difference in having or not having the WWW ? Phil

Dear Jack, Problem Solved..... I was confident that your contribution was installed correctly, and it was. The trouble was that my root/index.php file was using echo $category['categories_description' I changed 'categories_description' to 'categories_htc_description' in 2 incidences and now it is displaying the text from HT Category Description field. This is all I needed. I will however, go back through my main index file, and double check that there aren't any other issues in the code, and possibly replace and rebuild it. I suspect that this has been caused by the alterations META TAGS contribution made and I hadn't completely removed. Many thanks for your help. All the best, Phillip

Jack, I am fairly certain that it is installed correctly and working. I can edit and create new categories, and change all the header tag info. What I am missing is a box for the "category description" which displays text on the categories pages, not the "header tag catergory description" field which is there and working. I am not getting any errors and everything else is also working fine, just no field to enter/edit this text. I have even copied the supplied categories.php file over, and get the same results.
