    Just curious as to if anyone is doing a contribution for Liberty Reserve

    [Contribution] SEO-G

    Ok, I've read all of the documentation for this contribution. I feel ready to install and configure SEO-G. However, I also plan to use oscAffiliate, so I wanted to check in to see if these two will work together ok. Is anyone using both of these at the same time? If so, did you have any significant problems to resolve?

    Seach Engine Friendly URL Support

    It's kind of scary to see so many people have problems that they say are hurting their business. That's why I recommend installing in a test shop before installing into your main business site. I really like the idea of this contribution, but it seems like everyone is having problems with it. Did anyone successful install it "out of the box" without having to deal with headaches?

    Quick Price Updates - official support

    This doesn't seem to be working for me. I just installed v 2.7 Full Version from September 4. I followed all instructions from the install_repack file. Now, when I log into the control panel, I see that a new link has been added to the catalog box. This link reads BOX_CATALOG_QUICK_UPDATES. That seemed a little odd, because I was expecting it to just say "Quick Updates". When I click on the link, it tries to open: http://www.mystore.com/admin/FILENAME_QUICK_UPDATES This, in turn, gives me an error 404, saying that "FILENAME_QUICK_UPDATES was not found on this server." I double checked all of the files, especially admin/includes/fileanames.php. After I checked them all, I reuploaded, and get the same result. I have no idea why this is not working. It did not mess anything up, so that's a plus - it just doesn't work. It seems to be something with where it calls the filename. Did anyone else have this problem? How did you get by it?
  5. Sorry, I meant to say admin/catagories.php, not catalog.
  6. I am having a problem understanding these manual install instructions for version 2.04. Everything is fine until I get to the admin/catalog.php instructions, on the part where it reads: I am puzzled by this part, because not only does it not say what portion may need to be edited, but it doesn't tell me where to put this at. Where does this portion of the code go??

    Auto resize image thumb

    Which contribution did you try that is giving you trouble? I've tried to create my images with the shrink down in mind, but they still look terrible. I'm looking around to see if I can find an add-on that manages thumbnails better.

    e-Bullion Payments

    Thanks for the link. In reading the documentation, it looks like they've changed up the atip processing link since this contribution was made. I updated that link in the payment module, and now it works like a charm. For anyone doing a search at a future date, just open includes/modules/payment/ebullion.php Find: $this->form_action_url = 'https://www2.e-bullion.com/atip/process.php'; Replace with: $this->form_action_url = 'https://atip.e-bullion.com/process.php';

    e-Bullion Payments

    http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/3208 I am posting about the above mentioned contribution for using e-Bullion.com as a payment method. This is an older contribution, but I could not find anything in the forums about it. I have set it all up on my test site, but when I try to check out through e-Bullion, I am greeted with a page that tells me that the security certificate has some sort of issue. As if that's not bad enough, once I click to continue, the page that it directs me to just times out and results in a 404. The page I am being directed to is: https://www2.e-bullion.com/atip/process.php I know that e-Bullion is still live, so I think maybe there has just been a change in API since the contribution was put together. I think this would be a really nice alternative to offer if it was working. Is anyone out there familiar with e-Bullion and think that this contribution can be salvaged?

    Alertpay Contribution

    http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/4226 I am making this post about the above contribution to add alertpay as a payment option. The problem is that the instructions clearly say to upload the files, then log into admin and go to modules>payments to click the install button for alertpay. That's all fine and dandy, except that there is no such button for alertpay. There can't be since the contribution doesn't include an update for admin>includes>modules>payment Since that module would be needed, there is no way for this contribution to install alertpay. Does anyone know how to go about adding the missing update to put the install button on the payment modules page of the admin section?

    Alertpay Contribution

    It seems to be working great now. I somehow missed a file when I unzipped it. I deleted everything, did a fresh unzip and upload, and now it's all working great.

    Dangling Carrot (Free Gift/Discount Contrib)

    I'm sorry for asking such a simple question, but do I have to enter all of that information manually, or is there a method of just importing it into the database?

    Wishlist 3.0 Support Thread

    The way the contribution page is laid out makes it a little confusing on what's what. Which file is the most recent full install? 3.5d?

    Fancier Invoice & Packingslip v1.0

    So, what if you have this installed and someone purchases via PayPal IPN? Does it cause any problems, or is it just that they do not have a fancy invoice?

    Ask a Product Question

    The only problem with that is it opens a door for someone to use your site as a tool for unwanted emails, or even to send malicious content. It's probably unlikely that it would ever happen, but it could cause a lot of complaints about you if it ever did, which would suck considering you didn't do anything yourself. I like the idea behind the contribution, but you shouldn't have to set yourself up in order to use it.

    Alertpay Contribution

    I think the problem is on my end. When I compare the number of files I have in the temporary folder I extracted to,to the number of files in the zip, I seem to be missing one somehow. My hunch is that it will work once I hunt down which file I am missing.

    Alertpay Contribution

    This does not have either one. It has files for: includes/languages/english/modules/payment Also one like that for each other language. I uploaded those files, but it doesn't add anything to my admin section.

    Country-State Selector

    I think I must be having a problem that is not suppose to be happening. To begin with, let me say that I just installed OSC yesterday and have no other contributions installed. I modified all of the files for Country-State Selector v 1.3.3. From the user perspective, everything seems to be fine. From the admin perspective, I have problems. Whenever I try to go to the Customers section of admin, I get the error pertaining to customers.php. I know that on the page for the contribution, it says: However, this can't be the right fix. I say so because I had already done this - it's part of the basic instructions for version 1.3.3. So that isn't fixing the problem. The error I receive (Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CASE ) references line 193, which comes just after the portion in the quote. Line 193 reads: case 'deleteconfirm': I really like the drop down menu that this creates for the States, and would like to have this contribution, plus I am lazy and dont want to take the time to undo all of those changes. Is there something I can do to get this thing working? Here is a block of code from that section of my customers.php: tep_db_perform(TABLE_ADDRESS_BOOK, $sql_data_array, 'update', "customers_id = '" . (int)$customers_id . "' and address_book_id = '" . (int)$default_address_id . "'"); tep_redirect(tep_href_link(FILENAME_CUSTOMERS, tep_get_all_get_params(array('cID', 'action')) . 'cID=' . $customers_id)); } else if ($error == true) { $cInfo = new objectInfo($HTTP_POST_VARS); $processed = true; // +Country-State Selector } else if ($refresh == 'true') { $cInfo = new objectInfo($HTTP_POST_VARS); } // -Country-State Selector } break; case 'deleteconfirm': $customers_id = tep_db_prepare_input($HTTP_GET_VARS['cID']); if (isset($HTTP_POST_VARS['delete_reviews']) && ($HTTP_POST_VARS['delete_reviews'] == 'on')) { $reviews_query = tep_db_query("select reviews_id from " . TABLE_REVIEWS . " where customers_id = '" . (int)$customers_id . "'"); while ($reviews = tep_db_fetch_array($reviews_query)) { tep_db_query("delete from " . TABLE_REVIEWS_DESCRIPTION . " where reviews_id = '" . (int)$reviews['reviews_id'] . "'"); } tep_db_query("delete from " . TABLE_REVIEWS . " where customers_id = '" . (int)$customers_id . "'"); } else { tep_db_query("update " . TABLE_REVIEWS . " set customers_id = null where customers_id = '" . (int)$customers_id . "'"); }
