Anyone? ok I got my programmer to also look at the code and we both came up with the exact same code to show GB but it seems that the file size error is somewhere else... Could it be something in the SQL database table? I need help as I need to distribute large files...

Hi Alex, I have a problem with the download.php file... Everything has been working fine but I just tried to add a 3.5 GB file and I get this error: Warning: filesize() [function.filesize]: Stat failed for /home/website/public_html/directory/directory/directory/filename.zip (errno=75 - Value too large for defined data type) in /home/fsdreams/public_html/directory/includes/modules/downloads.php on line 82 I'm not able to download the file because of the php error this generates... Do you have any changes to the code that will allow for file sizes over 1GB?

I just tested that with no joy, and I don't believe it's an exchange rate problem I believe it is a problem with osC showing the NZD value instead of the USD value in the total field... The problem is that NZD is showing in the total field instead of USD so the discrepancy is a huge $8 or more... I am charging the custome with my default currency and have the Display Price in Default Currency mod I added hoping that would fix the problem... The problem remains, the order total is showing in NZ dollars and it appears that that is the figure that PayPal IPN is looking at. With the price being different there's no way I can automatically process payments and as far as I can see unless I can force the "Total" value to display in USD then I'm stuck with this problem... I am guessing it's because of a discrepancy between the PayPal figure of $24.95 (which is in US funds) and the order total which is showing as $33.03 (which is in NZ funds)... Man my head hurts lol....

My currency conversion is all correct and my cron is updating the currencies every hour, the problem was with the default RC1 PayPal IPN not having currencies in it... Instaled 2.3.3 modded PayPal IPN and now PayPal is billing correctly... The only issue I have now is getting the checkout total and the PayPal IPN to work together to automate the process for status updates... If the person orders in a different currency, PayPal IPN isn't updating the status as expected... If the person orders in USD then everything works fine and the order status is updated... I have a headache now... Am 99% there, but again I'm going to either have to turn off my currency selection module overnight or manually process the orders that come in while I sleep...

I have it set to only receive USD via PayPal IPN... It's doing that fine, my prices are in USD (default currency) for my products, and paypal is billing in USD... The problem is that the order totals in osC are showing up in NZD... If the user is set at USD on the currency options and goes and pays everything works... If a user is set to NZD on the currency options and goes and pays, the osC values show the price in NZD, while PayPal correctly charges the USD. The problem is that I don't get a verified confirmation at the osC end... It seems that PayPal is correctly sending back 'payment complete' data but osC must be checking that against the osC checkout price and then not updating the order... Also on my Admin and Orders listing all the prices are in NZD rather than USD... Is there a way to force the checkout to use only USD while allowing customers to see the price in their local currencies? I already have my cron job working as of two days ago... It's updating the exchange rate every hour...

Ok I've tracked down part of the problem. If a buyer selects another currency instead of the default USD the Paypal IPN doesn't seem to match the data, as the value in my store still shows the currency in the order in NZD... When I order with USD and go through IPN everything works fine, IPN changes the order status and the order gets completed... If a customer selects NZD and goes through IPN the payment is received and ok'd by Paypal, but the order status is not updated... Aye I'm getting a headache... Will look if there is a mod that shows the checkout price in USD and hopefully that will fix that problem... Will go over and look at the SDS thread again... Thanks Alex

Alex, you know both mods, can you give me some ideas on how to go from: RC1 with RC1 Paypal IPN to RC1 with RC1 Paypal IPN and SDS to RC1 with 2.3.3 Paypal IPN and SDS I'll go back over the SDS install but it seems part of the issue is in the IPN and the other part in SDS... 1. IPN is not sending back order update info 2. SDS isn't being seen at all during the order process

I urgently need help... I've just set up my store and received my first order but the customer had chosen New Zealand dollars and instead of the converted NZD price of $33 NZD they were charged only $24.95 NZD where it should have been the equivalent of $24.95 US Dollars! I've just set up my store and received my first order but the customer had chosen New Zealand dollars and instead of the converted NZD price of $33 NZD they were charged only $24.95 NZD where it should have been the equivalent of $24.95 US Dollars! I've tried searching the forums and couldn't find anything on this issue and I need help urgently. I've turned off my currency module for the moment but want to get it back online ASAP... What's wrong with RC1 Paypal IPN that it is not sending the converted currency price to paypal? Dean

Ok I used the Currency Updater contrib to auto update the currencies but the problem was that the example cron in the included example didn't work... I tried searching the boards for info on running cron jobs... Contacted my host and basically through my own sleuthing found... /usr/bin/php /home/username/public_html/store/admin/currency_updater.php works for me... now... i just have to see if /usr/bin/php -q /home/username/public_html/store/admin/currency_updater.php will silence the emails coming in... :-) hope this helps... you may need to contact your server admin for the format and all for both the: /usr/bin/php folder and then your path to your folder where your store and file is is located... /home/username/public_html/store/admin/currency_updater.php oh will look into the proper unix scheduling format for the beginning my host automates that part of the process...
