  1. Hi there, Where would I check the progress of the template as i go through it? When i preview the page from dreamweaver, where i wish for the the categories to be in the top left, all i see is '$date'. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I apologise if it's something blatently simple - Coding isn't my strong point. Any help appreciated. Best regards. Luke
  2. As far as I'm aware you only need to install the files from STS and then either MS2 or RC1. Have a check throguh the guide that comes with and try again. I made this mistake earlier, but took my time and go things sorted in the end. guess it's an easy enoguh mistake to make if you're new to all this like we are. STS can then be found under modules in the admin section.
  3. I did look through it, but got somewhat confused. I will however take your word for it and sit down and scrutinise the documentation tomorrrow. Just wanted confirmation that I t would do the job before I spent the day on it. Thanks very much for your fast reply :)
  4. Hi Guys, I'm new to all this but finding my feet slowly but surely. Basically I've taken over the running of an MP3 Download store and we're looking to redesign it. the address is www.vcmp3.com Perhaps any experts out there could breakdown how that particular design may have been constructed? Right, firstly, is it possible to make a new version of this site using STS - and then once everything is sorted design-wise, Simply import the exisiting customer / product database to the new design? Secondly, When playing around with the sts_template.html page, i couldn't quite follow the instructions. Say if I built an html page (similar to the original osCommerce look) and wanted the categories box in the same place, What code would I place in the table cell in dreamweaver? As im more of a designer, when it comes to more complicated HTML / PHP, i am struggling. Ideally i'm looking to be able to design the html template inclusive of all graphics, and then simple place the placeholders where the certain boxes need to be. I reckon however that's wishful thinking. I appreciate thats a lot of text, so any help will be most appreciated, and if anyone wants any help in Photoshop, then feel free to ask. Best regards, Luke P.S - apologies to originall posting this is the wrong location.
