I have this year rebuilt my osCommerce site and am having problems with PayPal Pro UK Express checkout. I have installed the modules PayPal Website Payments Pro (Payflow Edition) - Express Checkout and also PayPal Website Payments Pro (Payflow Edition) - Direct Payment. I have an SSL licence applied and the Direct payment seems to work fine but the express does not work at all. Firstly there is no express buttom under the 'checkout or' as it should after adding an item in the basket. So if you go through checkout and them make PayPal as a choice of payment you then get an error message.Error a general problem has occured with the transaction. Please try later. No matter how many times you try it remians the same. I would appreciate some help as PayPAl say it is an oscommerce fault and they do not technically support any issues involving osCommerce!

I am sorry to be thick but I have downloaded the file whcih you kindly sent me the link to and when I have extracted the files from the zip file there are empty folders. Now I dont understand why you would put folders in that where empty e.g. catalog/includes/modules/order_total is empty. There are other ones but I just listed this as an example. Please can you expalain and advise?

I am new to all this but bulk mail would seem a thing people will want to do on a repeated basis so if they can only send one email to a list and then cant send another it will be limiting the use of mailbeez. I have added but not used yet but this seems logical to me to be able to send regular bulk mails on different topics.

Sounds interesting all depends on cost and funds available at the time.

Does this mean we should add this even if we are not using multilingual but want to alter templates from admin?

Can you please advise which module I install for Payment Pro UK in oscommerce 2.3.1 - I have read there are many differences between Pro US and UK and I originally had Pro UK working on an RC1 site which was set up by PayPal during their development of Pro UK. I have now had to rebuild the site from scratch in 2.3.1 and am at a loss as to which module I need to install for PayPal Pro UK. I would appreciate detailed help please so I can get back online witht he website.

Your contribution sounds great and I have downloaded all the files and then tried following the instructions for modyfying existing files and I am afriad I strat to get error messages! Even if I get rid of the error message the link still does not appear in the tools box in admin. I have noticed however what appears to be discrepancies to me but I am very new to scripting and coding. For example there is an instruction to find array( 'code' => FILENAME_WHOS_ONLINE, etc etc and add // mailbeez,array( 'code' => 'mailbeez.php', 'title' => 'MailBeez', 'link' => tep_href_link('mailbeez.php'))// the coding you are told to find is based on FILENAMES and the coding you are asked to add are not in the same format. Please help so I can get the benefit of this contribution.

Jan and John thanks very much, you were both correct, somehow in comparing fiules and making necessary alterations I had missed a line of coding from admin/includes/database_tables.php. I have now added it and everything seems fine thanks very much for your help and advice on this matter - you are both brill. Thanks again.

I am not sure if I am on the correct thread but I have just installed SPPC 4.2.2 on a modified 2.3.1 osCommerce. All seemed to go well and after adding the .sql file I got this message:- Yet when I go into admin be it customers or customer groups I get a message along these lines :- I have looked in my database and there is a customers-groups listed in the database but I still get these messages. CAn somebody spot my mistake and advise me how to get it right? Hoping for a bit of help, fingers crossed.

Can anybody suggest where I have gone wrong on installing 4.2.2 on 2.3.1 as when I go into customer in the admin section I get this error message saying I have run the sql account so I am afraid I am lost. Regards Liz Still trying to learn!

Is there any difference in coding and finding the place to insert your coding?

I added this contribution to my RC1 abd RC2 sites and it worked excellently. I now have to rebuild the sites in 2.3.1 for the added security as my sites were hacked. Can you tell me if there is a version of this contribution suitable for using in 2.3.1?

I am afraid neither work! 1. was already set to 24 and I made that 30 2. Only one instance and I changed 'MAX_DISPLAY_ROW_BY_PAGE' , MAX_DISPLAY_SEARCH_RESULTS to '30' Next suggestion Off topic the certified Russia is actually a new insistance of the manufacturer.
