    Protx Direct v2.22

Hi Tom, the question I should have asked is whether I should create a new directory and install a copy of the ca-bundle.crt (or even the original) or should I redirect curl to the directory where ca-bundle.crt is currently located? TIA X Op

    Protx Direct v2.22

Hi Tom, I don't have that directory. My ca-bundle.crt is under a different directory with my recently renewed SSL cert. X Op

    Protx Direct v2.22

Cribbed from BenH above: changed $disable_curl_ssl_check from false to true and bingo! Bingo for me too. It's bizarre that it's exactly a year to the day since protx_process.php was modified. Do you think it was annoyed at not receiving a birthday card? X Op

    Protx Direct v2.22

Hi Tom, I just had the same result. I'm running RC1 and Protx Direct 2.22 (you helped me install it last year). I had a look at the server up time (admin/tools/server info) and it's been running for only a day. On the Protx module I put debug on and did a test payment and got curl_error= error setting certificate verify locations: CAfile: /etc/ssl/certs/ca-bundle.crt CApath: none But now I come to think of it I just loaded a renewed SSL cert. Have I put my renewed cert in the wrong place? Everything appears OK on the shop - no warnings. Any suggestions gratefully received. X Op

    Protx Direct v2.22

Just received an email from Protx containing "The initial promotional email was sent to you in error; please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience or confusion this has caused." Nuff said! X Op

    Protx Direct v2.22

Thanks for that Tom but I'm pretty sure I set it up and it tested OK on Protx VSP Admin. It shows on my VSP Admin pages that "You can now offer your customers the option to pay for goods using their PayPal account." I've probably misunderstood something (nothing new there then), I've just been reading that "Protx has integrated with PayPal Express Checkout giving you the opportunity to add PayPal as a payment option on your payment pages!" However the email I received did say "Thank you for your interest in becoming one of the first Protx customers to utilise our new PayPal integration." If it offers no advantage then I'll give it a miss. Thanks for your input. X Op

    Protx Direct v2.22

Hi Tom, many thanks for the past advice on Protx Direct. I installed the contribution last November on v2.2 RC1 and it's worked perfectly since. A few weeks ago I received an email from Protx offering the option to accept Paypal. I have a Paypal business account and I was wondering what work is required on the osCommerce side. Has anybody taken up this Protx offer yet? I had a look through recent postings on this thread but could find nothing. Thanks once again for supporting this contribution. X Op
