I already have ollacart installed and have been using it for a few years, does anyone know where I can remove the need for the server key instead of installing it afresh. I want to keep it it as I have it. I cant see in the download where the changes need to be. any help would be fab but I need to do it before 21 Nov as that when the server is offline (I missed the email) Thanks Emma

I love my template from Mini template Systems :heart: its design is exactly how i had it in my head.
I have had various oscommere websites for many years and always had to change the front page coding every time a new season of stock came in or sales started or even bored of the colour scheme.
With the ease of this system my staff can make the changes without me :) this has freed up my time to continue with my addons and having the knowledge that this system has not change my shop core coding too much, helps with making the changes.
Customer service of Mini System Template is excellent and I would recommend George's service to anyone as he exceeds his parameters of the Product by helping modify existing modules to fit and work well with no conflicts and also adds extras if they enhance your site.
George is a pleasure to work with and has the patience of a Saint if you can’t quite get a across what you need and want. Lucky you if you get a chance to work with him, He’s a Star. :thumbsup:

if you mean edit prices for a sale or reduced amount, try the mod called "special by category" :)

osc only allows you to make attributes but it doesnt stop sales of attirbutes if they become out of stock, ie i have 1 medium, 2 large 1 xl in stock and list them on my website as attributes med, large, xl ..... qtpro allows me to keep the ratio 1 med, 2 large, 1 xl and not sell any if attribute is out of stock where as osc allows you sell 2 xl's.
Ebay i use variations options like qtpro... med, large, xl and i also put in 1 med, 2 large, 1 xl
At the moment im removing stock by hand if one sells on ebay i remove it from the web, if one sells on the web i hand remove it from ebay,
i need something that allows me to sync the stock

I missed out one p.products_cost, after installing Header Tags SEO and editing $product_query = tep_db_query,
All fixed now thank goodness, lol sometimes you have to stand back if the code goes all burry
the contribution works lovely now thank you

Has anybody managed to use this with 2.3.1 yet,
I have tried using magnalister but it didnt work with Qtpro nor multiple images, has anyone manged to use it with Qtpro as i really need it

i havent got it fixed yet, but i dont use easy populate, i have ajax attributes and qtpro, i think it has to be some thing simple such as its not being saved to the database when opened, have you had any luck yet?

Bbut i have a problem, i have filled all my tags and my product page only shows the default title from page control instead of my product details, within my admin product page all meta tags are filled and this is the result of my test

I have the module working perfectly now and i didnt have to do anything to it other than switch off SEO URL-5 pro. (both modules work perfectly just not together)
Do you know any URL SEO modules that work with this module without conflicts ? or do you know how to make these 2 work together

i have this mod for the 2.3.1 shop (the http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/8147 Contribution) and it works lovely except, it is not saving the cost price when i reopen edit product, it does however stay there if i dont touch the product, but now and again i have to edit the description and then it just disapears and i have to insert it again.
Any ideas ?

Sorry im not explaining myself properly, i did the uninstall.php and i did a reinstall of the SQL install.php, i also have restored everything and started over, checking the files with with winmerge but still getting the problem i mentioned above.
My site is live and on my profile, Im just stumped on what to do next as this is last thing that needed doing.

ive just uninstalled and re installed the module (deleted the sql and ran the install php) and im still getting the same problem, missing tags in the test.
I did do the fill tags and tried to do index and product pages but the title and tags are still not showing.
What i did notice was im getting a small language error when overriding all the tags in the fill tags page, all 645 products are showing this error wither i use the english check box or all languages check box,
Failed to load page from shop: my site /product_info.php?products_id=2784&language=en
could this help finding what my problem is ?
I also have a mini template on my site, ive looked at the files and i cant see what might interfer with the seo header titles

Im sorry i meant to say the update install file, thats the one i used.
I just wondering if you have them in a sql file so i could compare the tables, with the php files its a bit hard to see what should be there and what shouldnt,
Im sure its something simple that i have over looked, just confused that no errors are showing.

I've tried that allready, i 've even tried different combinations (i.e Product check box on its own and manfactures on its own) and made sure all my settings where right including sort order, and i still get empty tags,
I can give you screen shots if that helps?
I've used this module before on my 2.2 site and sort of know what to expect, with the 2.3.1 site i put in the seo version of 3.2.6 and it didnt work so ive updated it to your latest version on 3.2.8 and it still doesnt work, (without errors showing)
Do you have a copy of the sql files with out using the install file, i did noticed that it produced multiple copies of the same tables in my sql and i was wondering if a fresh install of the sql could help as it doesnt seem to keep the tags i keep filling even thou my admin product page shows the tags filled.
What do you think ?

I have this module working lovely for the past few weeks but with Paypal playing up ive upgraded to paypal express and now the discounts dont work.
I have no errors showing and it still works with Sagepay, any idea on where i should look, i have a tiny idea it might be on the express page but not knowing what to look for i dont know where to start, ive combed the froums and found nothing that can help so far.
Any help would be fab as i realy dont want to uninstall it coz it rocks :-D

I fixed my problem with alignment, did a google search found my problem was the same as this guy, his suggestion worked, bit concerned about the question he asked at the bottom, would it affect my site?

I was having a problem in IE8 where the entire store would align left (not center) if the article infobox was enabled (either left or right column). I removed the css which seems to be a workaround....
In catalog/includes/modules/boxes/bm-articles.php, remove:
?> <style type="text/css"> .separatorArticle { height: 1px; color: #FF0000; } .separatorBlogArticle { height: 1px; color: #FF0000; } .separatorNewArticle { height: 1px; color: #FF0000; } .separatorTopic { height: 1px; color: #FF0000; } </style> <?phpI didn't notice any change in the appearance of the infobox...looks fine, HOWEVER I did notice that separatorArticle and separatorBlogArticle properties are called to further down the file...don't know if that will cause problems in other browsers?? perhaps add these to one of the main css pages if so?

Ive allready changed the settings of the articles to only show "all articles" and the "rss feed" in the Box, i set false to everything else such as author box, author name visable, Topics, blogs, email friend, replies and reviews and still have the same problem.
im hoping to use this to promote products and SEO keywords and would very much love this to work, is there a manual way i can force the page to align center, i did something similar on my current site thats osc 2.2 though CSS, but wouldnt know where to start the 2.3.1, ive had a scan of the forum and even tried installing theme switcher but im not reall happy with that and perfer not to mess about with the js files.
Here is a list of my contributes ive installed so far incase you see something that might clash, advanced attributes search, ajax attribute manager, ccgv, ckeditor, fb catalog browse, featured products, magicmagnify, mini images, mdoula front page, multiple product manager, pim slideshow, qtpro, shorter checkout, tms, tms atribute tabs, security pro, SEO header tags plus article manager now, so far i have no conflicts or errors, everything seems to work fine except this alignment issue, once again thanks for taking the time to reply : - )

when i switch the article module off the shop goes back to the center of the screen.
I used Articles Manager 1.57_7 and Header Tags_SEO_V_3.2.6 with a modified verison of Osc 3.2.1,You wouldnt happen to know which page i need to change to get the shop layout back to the center, had no problem putting this together but one little cosmetic thing had me stumped lol

Installed both, the SEO Header Tags and the Article Manager on OsC 2.3.1 (quite modified shop) today and it works a treat, thank you Jacks_mcs
I just have a cosmetic question, i noticed after the last install which was the Article manager, my shop page has moved from the center of the screen, just wondering which file i could of messed up would make this change after the alterations i've made with article manager instuctions, just thought i would ask incase somebody else has the same problem

Well that doesn't look like it should cause a problem.
For the first two lines you could try this:
define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', '.smartassmenswear.co.uk'); define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', '.smartassmenswear.co.uk');Remove the "www" but keep the period.
That might make a difference.
At the bottom of thr config file there is a line that should look like this:
define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysql');When changing the config file sometimes permissions on the server disallow replacement via FTP (if you edit locally and FTP to the server) so it's best to check the file on the server to be sure it says what you think it says.
Also be aware of this:
In the includes FOLDER (catalog and admin) where the normal configure.php files are there is a FOLDER named local
On some installs there may be a configure.php inside the local FOLDER (catalog and admin)
If there is, anything in it overrides anything in the normal configure.php files.
You could check for this "other" config file.
I noticed one thing. The site functions great as long as you don't click anything in the "Brands" section in the left column. If you do the cart gets dumped.
Looking at the HTML source the links there are the only ones that DON'T have the osCsid attached.
But therein lies "the rub". When things are working like they should the osCsid should disappear from the browser address bar (and the URL's) after 2 or 3 clicks.
If things I've posted about check out for you I'd suggest posting in the support thread for any SEO URL mod's you have installed. I think that would be the next place to go looking for problems.
Thank you, i will give it good going over tomorrow, i think the brands section is the hyperlinks ive typed out myself from the sitemap, i might of missed the osCsid bit, you given me good place to start.

you just reminded me that i had a issue a few months ago with the module SagePay Direct, i was experiancing problems with 3D section as SEO URL's wasnt compatible with this module, its was W3C option that caused issues with redirects that SagePay Direct required, and had to set my SEO URL to these setting in Admin
Output W3C valid URLs (parameter string)? false
Enable SEO cache to save queries? true
Enable product cache? false
Enable categories cache? false

But now i have Sage Pay Server installed instead, so im not sure if the problems would continue so i have left the settings for SEO URL as is
