    CCnow payment module.

Hello. There is currently no Oscomerce payment module for CCnow. Apparently the module for Magento shopping cart is somehow compatible with Oscommerce. Do you know if this is true, and how to make it work (they use different directory structures it seems so some php programming skills are required as far as I can tell). Thanks.

    CCnow payment module.

Yes of course but if it's compatbile with Magento then one doesn't have to code from scratch, one would have a base to work on, thus saving time.
  3. Hello. I've noticed the following three errors when trying to install this contribution `Online Gift Card v1.0' - Step 6 : The file doesn't exist (admin/includes/boxes/categories.php) Step 7 The line of code doesn't exist (define('WARNING_FILE_UPLOADS_DISABLED', 'Warning: File uploads are disabled in the php.ini configuration file.'); Step 9 This line of code doesn't exist (</table></form>). I'd appreciate your help. Thanks. BTW : I'm using version 2.2 of oscommerce.
  4. Hello. I just wanted to confirm this - must one enter each product incl. price into 2checkout before one can use the 2co module in oscommerce? I ask because if one has lots of products this would take a long time. Is it not possible to just send the order total and postal address to 2co? Thanks!

Must one enter each product into 2co?

I'm using this addon - http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/5664 It's installed and configured correctly, but when it goes to the 2co secure page there is an error message displayed, so I don't think it's passing the info from oscommerce to 2co correctly. Any ideas?

Must one enter each product into 2co?

Yes but it's not working properly. That's why I need to know from someone who is using 2checkout if one must enter each product separately into 2checkout (if you use 2co you'll know what I mean) or is there a `buy now url' one can use. Cheers.

In other words is there not just an editable `buy now url' that one can pass to 2co?

    SiteMonitor

Obviously an email is sent with the current conditions when a new reference file is created, but you are missing the point and have misunderstood my observation. If it finds a deleted file(s), then in the email report that it sends, it lists the deleted files but it does not show if there are any size, time, or permission changes. You then suggested to create a new reference file, but that would be a mistake because you wouldn't know about any size, time, or permission changes from the last time you ran a report (the same report that showed the deleted files). Do you see what I mean? Sitemonitor has failed to show size and time/date mis-matches on a hacked site.

    SiteMonitor

Yes the code may monitor it but if there's a deleted file(s) found then you can't find out about these other mis-matches. It looks like only if there isn't any deleted file(s) will it show/check for the other mis-matches. So if you delete the reference file and create a new one like you suggest, then you won't know about the other mis-matches.

    SiteMonitor

So in other words if you want it to also check for size, time/date, and permissions mis-matches one will have to customise the code. This would make this a more useful contribution, because it hasn't shown size and time/date mis-matches once yet, not even on a hacked site.

Thanks for this useful contribution. I have a question though. If it finds a deleted file(s), then in the email report that it sends, it lists them but at the end of the file it says SIZE MISMATCH: Size differences not checked due to deleted file(s) TIME MISMATCH: Time differences not checked due to deleted file(s) PERMISSIONS MISMATCH: Permissions not checked due to deleted file(s) --- Is this normal? Shouldn't it check for these as well regardless of whether it found a deleted file or not? And is there a way to only check for size, time/date, and permissions mis-matches? If not then that would be a useful addition to this util.

    osCommerce VTS

Yes I've already got the contrib for anti-XSS. I was just wondering about it, and this solution was recommended : http://forums.oscommerce.com/topic/348589-serious-hole-found-in-oscommerce/page__view__findpost__p__1467014

    osCommerce VTS

Great, looking forward to it. I have another question/suggestion (you can read more about it here) http://forums.oscommerce.com/topic/358244-php-self/ with regards to PHP_SELF in code, can cause problems. For interest sake I searched for this term in my Oscommerce files and it appears several hundred times. What are your comments on this? (I'm not a coder hence the question).

    osCommerce VTS

Thanks for this contribution, I'll install it soon. Just a quick question with regards to your newest scan for whitespace in php files, is it possible for you to include the option to delete these trailing whitespaces? I'm sure this would be useful for many people especially after having had code injected into all php files (which is what recently happened to me and who knows how many others using Godaddy LOL). Thanks.

    Recover Cart Sales

I have a working contribution installed that allows someone to go straight to the checkout process without creating a free account (so their postal address and order history won't be saved in oscommerce as a result). The link it goes to is /create_account.php?guest=guest Now I've noticed that when people choose to do this (go straight to checkout without creating a free account), then for some reason Recover Cart Sales doesn't store the cart. What changes must I make for RCS to recognize and store the carts of those who do this? Thanks a lot.

    Recover Cart Sales

Thanks for this contribution, I've sent a small donation to the author. In the update.html for v2.23a, it doesn't list what the changes are from v2.23 to v2.23a. Do you know what the changes are? It says in the community contributions page only `Updated with bugfix by country.' So does this mean `the email to the customer will be sent in the customers chosen language, not with the admin tool language', is the only change from v2.23 to v2.23a?

    Recover Cart Sales

Hi there, thanks for this useful contribution. I have a quick question - It doesn't seem to save attributes, only base amounts. Example, if someone entered in their unsaved cart a weight of 100grams, but the base weight is 30grams, in the unsaved cart report it only shows this base weight of 30grams, and not the true weight of 100grams. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions to save the actual attribute the prospect entered? Thanks!

    Recover Cart Sales

I dropped the table `scart' and recreated it - and now the mod seems to be working fine. >>>As for the primary and index, it should be only one of those so that warning is correct. It still says in phpmyadmin under the scart table that `PRIMARY and INDEX keys should not both be set for column `scartid`' However I checked the scart table for another database on another website where I installed this mod and it gives the same warning message about primary and index keys. Anyway like I said it seems to be working fine, thanks. (Maybe you want to include a warning in your install file about not importing the sql commands twice - as this causes errors in running RCS.)

    Recover Cart Sales

I fixed the errors (I accidentally edited a wrong file during the install), but still have one issue. The only part of the RCS mod that isn't working is it doesn't show up in the configuration part of oscommerce admin, only in the tools and reports part. I imported the required SQL commands for this mod into the database again (via my SQL admin) to see if that would help, and I got the following error message : Error SQL query: CREATE TABLE `scart` ( `scartid` INT( 11 ) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT UNIQUE , `customers_id` INT( 11 ) NOT NULL UNIQUE , `dateadded` VARCHAR( 8 ) NOT NULL , `datemodified` VARCHAR( 8 ) NOT NULL , PRIMARY KEY ( `scartid` ) ); And then when I click on the `scart' table, there is another warning given in the indexes section as follows` PRIMARY and INDEX keys should not both be set for column `scartid`

    Recover Cart Sales

Hi Lane. Thanks for your feedback. Quote,`This basically is saying that the file does not exist; most likely because "FILENAME_UPCOMING_PRODUCTS" is not defined (it should have been replaced by a real filename).' I checked via ftp and both these files are there. Quote,`Sounds like the setup data either got deleted or overwritten during an edit. While it could have occurred due to editing when installing RCS, these files are not part of RCS and the definitions should not have been touched during install. Assuming a correct install, the only thing I can guess at is one of a) the site wasn't working fully before the RCS install or cool.gif there is a conflict between RCS and another component in the new install (although I've never heard of any conflicts).' The site was working fine before the RCS install (I just had a new template installed by a 3rd party but I tested it and everything appeared fine - these errors I'm now receiving definately weren't there before the RCS install).

    Recover Cart Sales

Hi there. Firstly, thanks to the developers and contributors of this mod - I installed it on one site and it's working fine. I am however having some issues with getting it to work properly on another site. I followed all the steps to the letter, and even redid everything more than once, but I'm still having some problems. I do get the `Recover Cart Sales' link in admin, and I ran it and it did pull up some carts, but the graphics is all wrong, and I can't edit the configuration for RCS (it doesn't show up in the configuration section for some reason). The other bigger problem is now when one loads this site's oscommerce homepage, it gives a bunch of errors like this : Warning: main(includes/modules/FILENAME_UPCOMING_PRODUCTS): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/A/p/r/Aprivateuser/html/shop/index.php on line 337 Warning: main(): Failed opening 'includes/modules/FILENAME_UPCOMING_PRODUCTS' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/content/A/p/r/Aprivateuser/html/shop/index.php on line 337 Warning: main(includes/modules/FILENAME_NEW_PRODUCTS): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/A/p/r/Aprivateuser/html/shop/index.php on line 334 Warning: main(): Failed opening 'includes/modules/FILENAME_NEW_PRODUCTS' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/content/A/p/r/Aprivateuser/html/shop/index.php on line 334 And then right at the bottom of the page it says : 1146 - Table 'usertbs.TABLE_COUNTER' doesn't exist select startdate, counter from TABLE_COUNTER [TEP STOP] Now I'm assuming this last error message is database related (I could be wrong). If anyone here is able to assist with any of these errors it would be greatly appreciated!
  22. I spoke to the author of this contrib and here is what they say (I implemented these changes and the contrib is now working) : For step 6 the file is actually admin/includes/boxes/catalog.php Step 7 : this was a bug in older versions of OSC they left out some english global vars, just add the code it says to before the closing ?> Step 9: add that last part after the following code <tr> <td align="center" width="25%" class="checkoutBarFrom"><?php echo '<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_SHIPPING, '', 'SSL') . '" class="checkoutBarFrom">' . CHECKOUT_BAR_DELIVERY . '</a>'; ?></td> <td align="center" width="25%" class="checkoutBarFrom"><?php echo '<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_PAYMENT, '', 'SSL') . '" class="checkoutBarFrom">' . CHECKOUT_BAR_PAYMENT . '</a>'; ?></td> <td align="center" width="25%" class="checkoutBarCurrent"><?php echo CHECKOUT_BAR_CONFIRMATION; ?></td> <td align="center" width="25%" class="checkoutBarTo"><?php echo CHECKOUT_BAR_FINISHED; ?></td> </tr> </table></td> </tr> </table>
