  1. Wonder if I am misunderstanding this. I want to specify discounts for a product. For example if the customer buys more than 12, I would like to take $35 off the price of each item. So I do this, right? function apply_special_item_discount($id, $count, &$disc_amount) { switch($id) { case 19: if ($count > 12) { $disc_amount = 35; } break; Is this supposed to take $35 off of each item or does it only take $35 off of the order total no matter how many items over 12? I am only seeing $35 off of the order total. Fresh install of osC 2.3.1 thank you!

    Simple Price Break Contribution

    Has anyone put this into osC 2.3.1? I gave it a try but did not have such good luck. I can see it in the admin section when entering a product and the discounts display in the catalog listings. Problems is, the discount does not show up in the check out process. Two differences were found when installing but they do not look like they should be real problems (I'm no expert): First was in /catalog/includes/classes/shopping_cart.php find (l178) : if (tep_not_null($product_info['products_url'])) Could not find the exact line but am able to place the code so the price break displays on the catalog pages. Second problem was in /catalog/admin/categories.php Could not find this exact line but the differance seems to be concerned with products_date_available. Could this be the reason the add-on is not taking the discount from the shopping cart total? Add on says - find (l292) : tep_db_query("insert into " . TABLE_PRODUCTS . " (products_quantity, products_model,products_image, products_price, products_date_added, products_date_available, products_weight, products_status, products_tax_class_id, manufacturers_id) values ('" . tep_db_input($product['products_quantity']) . "', '" . tep_db_input($product['products_model']) . "', '" . tep_db_input($product['products_image']) . "', '" . tep_db_input($product['products_price']) . "', now(), '" . tep_db_input($product['products_date_available']) . "', '" . tep_db_input($product['products_weight']) . "', '0', '" . (int)$product['products_tax_class_id'] . "', '" . (int)$product['manufacturers_id'] . "')"); Line as it was found in 2.3.1: tep_db_query("insert into " . TABLE_PRODUCTS . " (products_quantity, products_model,products_image, products_price, products_date_added, products_date_available, products_weight, products_status, products_tax_class_id, manufacturers_id) values ('" . tep_db_input($product['products_quantity']) . "', '" . tep_db_input($product['products_model']) . "', '" . tep_db_input($product['products_image']) . "', '" . tep_db_input($product['products_price']) . "', now(), " . (empty($product['products_date_available']) ? "null" : "'" . tep_db_input($product['products_date_available']) . "'") . ", '" . tep_db_input($product['products_weight']) . "', '0', '" . (int)$product['products_tax_class_id'] . "', '" . (int)$product['manufacturers_id'] . "')"); Thank you in advance if you are willing to help me out with this.

    Free Shipping by product? - osC 2.3

    Thank you! If I find a way to do this I will share. I can't be the only person who needs to offer free shipping on only one or two products in a category.

    Free Shipping by product? - osC 2.3

    THANKS for the fast reply, sorry for the delayed response, that is how life is going for me right now. First off, after looking around a little more I think I am using an old version of the modification, I just started using what I had on my computer instead of looking for updates. Also, this mod was not made for osC 2.3. So my question might be stupid to start with. Also now trying some other things to do free shipping by product but I am not good with php code. Having said that, here is the answer to your question. Drop the subject (for now) if you want! The code that is supposed to be added is as follows: Find: echo tep_draw_hidden_field('products_image', stripslashes($products_image_name)); Below it add: // INDIV_SM SHIPPING METHODS BEGIN if(is_array($_POST['shipping_methods'])){ foreach($_POST['shipping_methods'] as $val){ echo tep_draw_hidden_field('shipping_methods[]', $val); } } // INDIV_SM END

    auctionTastic

    Did the trick, thank you very much! Any estimate of when you will feel this is ready for use in a live osCommerce? Also, I noticed another post about Categories where you said if there was enough interest you would consider adding them, count me as interested. I will try and keep up with this and do some testing for you, if there is anything specific you would like me to test/do, just let me know. My coding experience is minimal but maybe you need people with little coding knowledge to test so you can see how such people handle your auctions... thanks again.

    auctionTastic

    Hi, I have been wanting something like the auction you are working on for some time now, found your auctionTastic 1.0 Beta2 tonight and installed it on a clean install of osCommerce. When I tested an auction I received the following error messages. This did not happen in the first bid, but does happen on every bid after the first. Tried two auctions, same result each time. I can click the return button in my web browser and the auction has been updated with my last bid Looking forward to the day I can use your mod in my store. Thanks for the effort!
