  1. check out the "tare" weight setting in the admin/congif/shipping. I think it comes set to 3 units.
  2. Update : Trying to get orders to post back to osc. I put the following into the API callback box in my GC settings. Was the correct? I get the following error. Should I be choosing XML or HTML under API callback. http://www.essential-stuff-store.com/oscom...onsehandler.php We encountered an error trying to access your server at http://www.essential-stuff-store.com/oscom...onsehandler.php -- the error we got is: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
  3. I know this issue has been asked and answered but I am still unclear how to ix it. Something about the responsehandler.php file? Is it something I have to set in google? I would appreciate specific some help with what file to reference, where it is located and what to do with it. Thanks in advance.
  4. Working fine now. Yippee! I just ran it a second time with meter set to "none" and got an auto meter number. So I'll call it working and issue resolved. MR
  5. OK some progress. I sort of have it working and this may help others. In the godaddy mod inside fedex1.php, I change the numberic IP to "proxy.shr.secureserver.net:3128" When i first tried this, I got a "no meter" message so at the the CURL problem was solved. Yesterday, FEDEX gave me a meter number to use so when i put that in manually, i got rates. If anyone can help with getting an auto meter number, I would appreciate it. MR
  6. other possibly relevent info: my store domain www.essential-stuff-store.com is a subdomain, not a primary domain if that matters. In the server info section I checked if CURL was ok. This is what is there. curl CURL support enabled CURL Information libcurl/7.10.6 OpenSSL/0.9.7a ipv6 zlib/1.2.3
  7. Fedex 2.07 not working. here is what I did. i started with a brand new OSCommerce installation. I installed fedex2.07 per the instructions. It didn't work, and just hung, and eventually timed out. So i turned on debug and after maybe 60 seconds i got this screen: Data sent to Fedex for Meter: 0,"211"10,"303991026"4003,"Mark Rhodes"4007,"Essential Stuff Store"4008,"3460 Zion Canyon Ct"4011,"Pleasanton"4012,"CA"4013,"94588"4014,"US"4015,"925-922-1674"99,"" Seems I got no reply from fedex. I am on godaddy and I did enable the godaddy fix per the instruction. My setup is at http://www.essential-stuff-store.com/oscom...e22rc1/catalog/ I'd really like to get this working as i want to use fedex and goggle checkout as my core shipping and payment.
  8. I can not get the Fedex module to work. It just hangs. I am using OSCMax. I started with the version 2.04 that was alrewady in OSC max. I input all the info including my valid account number. Just hung. I looked in the forums and found a patch for sites on Godady which applies to me. Didn't help. I tried to upgrade to version 2.07 from OScommerce which includes the godaddy patch. Still does not help. My files are at www.essential-stuff-store-com/catalog
  9. Not having much luck with modules. I'll post about fedex in the proper forum. So I can not get the UPS XML module to work. The simpler UPS module does work. The XML version returns the following message after about a 60 second hang 2013 - Lost connection to MySQL server during query select code, title, symbol_left, symbol_right, decimal_point, thousands_point, decimal_places, value from currencies I have no clue how to fix this. My files are at www.essential-stuff-store.com/catalog. I'd like to go live if I can get UPS or fedex working.
