  1. The most recent version of the calendar is in Spanish. It is only missing one file in Admin that I mentioned earlier.
  2. I solved the mystery of the shipdate not being visible in the admin orders page. in admin/includes/classes/orders.php add on line the word "shipdate" 27 currency, currency_value, date_purchased, orders_status, last_modified, shipdate from " . and on line 67 add to the delivery array 'shipdate' => $order['shipdate'], and then it will work. These are the same changes that came with the orders.php page that is in the catalog includes folder (although you can't just copy that page as there is a lot of other stuff that is different).
  3. I installed the update shipdate which works for MS2 and has Spanish too. Everything is fine except that when you view the order on the admin section you cannot see the shipdate. Looking at the PHP I see where it checks to see if the shipdate variable has the info from the database but I don't see where it actually gets it from Mysql. Has anyone else seen this problem?
  4. Now that that mod has been updated to work with the current release I think it might be a solution. Presently I am tied up with making my existing modifications work with the current release first (my store is divided depending on whether a customer chooses to export tropical flowers or wants to deliver flowers on the island). http://www.florista-pr.com is the test site with the old release. As soon as I finish that work I will try the mod. Thanks very much for your suggestions.
  5. That would be the easiest fix but for a flower shop you need three fields 1 delivery date 2 card message (ideally with some javascript to a database of card messages. 3 Occassion type (wedding, funeral, entice someone else's wife, etc.)
  6. I too am looking for help in adding this function. Someday I hope some PHP genius will add a contribution that does this.
  7. It would be cool if you uploaded your news feature as a mod. It might even increase the dangle of the dog.

    Free Call for Price v4.0

OK -- I see how the download name could appear out of no where but "download.php"? and remember the file only appeared to me to be garbage when I looked at it with BBedit but when I forced Stuffit to unzip-it it unzipped perfectly. I think that something else is going on here. anyway... my web site doesn't use down loads and I can't ever see when it might (we sell flowers) but I just couldn't let this go as it was so strange. I am getting your "free call for price" so that I can make a shipping modules that will calculate delivery charges based on a directory of zip codes in Puerto Rico. To make it more complicated I also export flowers so for those products I will be chargeing a flat rate for the Fedex to the states.

But the file came as named "download.php" I don't see how that is possible. I wasn't using OSX so the two period thing wasn't the problem. I also think that the little link you have to click for downloading the file needs an icon "down load me here" or something more obvious.

    Free Call for Price v4.0

I did it again https://secure.sashbox.net/thewebmakerscorn...a7fbded1d66eb40 When I do I get a file called download.php which my mac looks at and says "what's that" instead of automatically unzipping as it would a file called something .zip Since I now know that it is a zip file I forced my poor mac to unzip it and viola -- all your cool stuff is there. Do you think there is anyway you can get your download feature to give the file the correct zip extension and perhaps a name like "free_call_for_price"?

    Free Call for Price v4.0

Hi I downloaded it and got a file download.php which explorer on my mac attempts to load and locks up. I looked at the file in bbedit and saw lots of interesting compiled garbage. How do you get this contribution in a normal manner? I am excited to see it and try it out.

    Category Tabs V1.1

It depends on whether your attitude is like the Wright Brothers who set back American Aviation ten years (with constant patent fights) or like Curtis who built a better airplane by working with everyone openly (his was the first public flight--the Wright Brothers flew in secret to keep people from seeing their ideas). It wasn't until the war when the U.S. gov. forced the airline companies to abandon their patents that Amercan aviation took-off. I think cooperative innovation using open source (like you're doing here) is pretty damn exciting and I hope that everyone doing all the work gets some monetary satisfaction along with the well deserved feelings of pride they must already get so that they also feel it is worth while.

    Category Tabs V1.1

The catagory tabs works perfectly and nearly solves a problem I was trying to do a similar thing but not nearly as elegent. Terrific work! Now my question is: "How do I add tabs that use the names in my information menu?" I only have two catagories (look http://www.florista-pr.com ) I want the five custom information names to be tabs to the left of my two catagory tabs Bill
  14. Perhaps it might be useful to have a section on this bb where people can post their interest to do work on osC installations and mods for money (or trade-- I'm thinking of offering free stay in my guest house in the rain forest of PR). I also hope that Preeti will post any of the mods he has created that he feels are especially good. I think that posting the mods in the contribution area is a very good advertisement for coders looking for work also. I look at the new posted mods every day and find most of them terrific.
