Should this be the URL to the confirmation page in the cart?

The reference is for 2.2; do you have anything for 3.0? I had a nicely customized 2.2 but am having difficulty replicating in 3.0. Thanks,

Moving links from the left panel to the bottom
TBK3 replied to Antago's topic in Templates and Images
Antago, How would one move all of the boxed content from the left column and add it to the right? -
Okay, I loaded my old settings into the new setup page but am not seeing any buttons or hypertext to test this, let alone generate labels. Can someone point me to the right place? Thanks

USPS Shipping - Showing Express but Not Selected
TBK3 replied to kevavent's topic in Shipping Modules
Anyone know where to find the shipping information in the um, old cart? I archived off copies of the files and entries in the table, but they (obviously) don't work any longer on the web. -
Satish, This will work for v.3, too? If so it would be great news!

PayPal Standard Payment - Problem with Description
TBK3 replied to cherubrock74's topic in Payment Modules
Chris, Is this compatible for v.3? I really don't want to get locked into the monthly fees for the IPN; Standard is working just fine for me. Thanks, Tom -
I had a fairly cart that blended with the rest of my site. Unfortunately, I don't see any of the customization documentation in 3.0 that was available for 2.2, so I am having a hard time migrating all of the edits I had made to my old site. It appears that I have to edit the templates rather than the top, bottom, main pages, etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction, please? Also, the install package from OSC didn't even have all of the icons bundled with it; any idea where I can download these? I don't like all of the broke links. Thanks,

Where do I make these changes???

So, are we good to go tonight?

Kinquchi, It is possible. I had to do this on my own install. Unfortunately, it was one of those bleary-eyed coding sessions, so can't quite remember what I did. I believe that it was in the includes/languages/english/shippping folder. Look for the entry whose name matches the contribution. Then, carefully hunt through the code and change one thing at a time (making careful notes of what was changed) and toggle back and forth between the code view and the live page results. That's how I did it.

I have it working - Domestically. Even though I have specified shipping methods for international shipping, when I leave my site and hit the USPS site it tries to conform the address to US standards, which doesn't work. Any ideas? or do I need a separate contribution?
-
I got mine working on the first pass - all right first pass and a half. What I can't figure out is it starts out with a three-pound package and then adds the weight of my items to it. A bit expensive for my customers! Any ideas? I only offer Priority and Express mail (they give free packaging).

Hey, just got it up and running!

My install of EProcessing Network munched my admin module; I was hoping that I might not have "[screwed up] where no one has [screwed up] before."

Okay, I'm abandonning artistry and going for speed. The only problem that I'm having is Julian's basic contribution doesn't complete successfully. It has a problem with the SSL page it bounces back to indicate success. I had a similar problem with the URL in the update e-mail and had to change "SSL" to "NONSSL" in the references to one of the pages. Does anyone have any ideas??

usps api shipping label, online labels integrated
TBK3 replied to goldencrown's topic in General Add-Ons Support
Just two tweaks, 1. I'd like to be able to print just the address label. I can see from the Post Office Guide what needs to be passed to change the formatting, but does anyone know where the variables are stored? 2. I'd like the postage field to print as blank as opposed to "Postage Required" when I don't purchase postage from the Post Office. The USPS Mailing Assistant software can pull off both of these tricks, other than writing the tracking number back to my database (okay, I can dream can't I?) I love this contribution. -
Thank you. The basic module worked fine, but the "transparent" module is the one that has caused my (lastest) round of fits. It kept sending to my former processor AuthorizeNet, I couldn't find out where EProcessing Network was pulling the URL to AuthorizeNet, so I deleted all of the authorizenet files and kablooey, no more ability to enter configuration information in the Credit Card Portion of my Admin module. Do you have any idea where I should begin debugging? The good news is that I just found an old sql backup and was able to restore my 950 customer entries, which I was sweating like bullets.
-
Yes AuthorizeNet rebrands its products often, and resellers rebrand the AuthorizeNet product, selling it under different names as their own. Marking it up to merchants as it rolls through the distribution channels.
-
You can charge a customer's credit card in advance of shipment provided: 1. The merchant has every reason to believe that s/he will be able to ship the product within 30 days; or 2. It is clearly communicated to the customer that the item will not be shipped at the time the charge is processed, but will be shipped at a future point disclosed to the customer. BTW, I have learned today from AuthorizeNet that if a merchant has an active shopping cart and is trying to upgrade to the new AIM system, AuthorizeNet will provide the merchant with a separate "Testing Account." In my case it allows me to test my new osCommerce cart while my PerlShop cart continues to process orders through WebLink.
-
I just got off the "Chat" with AuthorizeNet. I was told that I could be testing AIM, while my current cart is using webconnect. So, taking her at her word, I submitted a credit card that she provided and got a white screen with the following: Does this mean that I'm any closer to getting this on the road?

usps api shipping label, online labels integrated
TBK3 replied to goldencrown's topic in General Add-Ons Support
Stamps.com? I used to use them when we first started, but eventually the romance tired. Send me a PM and I'll send you the balance of my labels, they're just gathering dust. I'm hoping that in one of the replies to this post that I'll learn that osC is actually keeping the tracking numbers. I know that many sites where I shop, when I get an e-mail, I can just click the link and it takes me straight to the shipper's tracking page and sometimes even just pops up with my results. That's what I'm really hoping to achieve with this Contribution. -

Got everything running and printing!! Hurrah!!! I have two flys left in the ointment: I would like to use the option to seperate the shipping label from the tracking slip (print one on label stock, the other on plain paper). I can see how to specify it from the USPS literature, but can't tell where to enter it in this Contribution. Also, is the USPS tracking number maintained in any of the databases (so I don't even need to mess with filing the tracking slips)? Thanks, Tom -
