    "Dynamenu" for osCommerce

    Could someone please look at this site: Code Blue Store in FireFox and tell me why dynamenu is causing this page to load like this? If I remove dm_categories.php from column_left.php and put the default OSC category box back, it works fine. Any and all help would be really appreciated. Thanks, Rickey

    "Dynamenu" for osCommerce

    This realy don't make any sence, when i remove the include(DIR_WS_BOXES . 'dm_categories.php'); from the column_left.php, the page looks normal in firefox. With it in there, it drops all the subcategories and manufactures down to the bottom of the page. I just cant figure it out.

  13. What I always do is download a complete .csv file for the catagory I need to update. I make the neccessary changes. I SAVE the file AGAIN so the changes are there. I go back to Admin/easypopulate.php and browse to the file I just edited. Once selected I go to the drop down box and select "Update Only" then click on insert into Database
  14. Your product discription table should look like this: CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS `products_description` ( `products_id` int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment, `language_id` int(11) NOT NULL default '1', `products_name` varchar(150) NOT NULL default '', `products_description` text, `products_url` varchar(255) default NULL, `products_viewed` int(5) default '0', `products_seo_url` varchar(100) NOT NULL default '', `products_head_title_tag` varchar(80) default NULL, `products_head_desc_tag` longtext, `products_head_keywords_tag` longtext, PRIMARY KEY (`products_id`,`language_id`), KEY `products_name` (`products_name`) ) ENGINE=MyISAM DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1 AUTO_INCREMENT=5634 ;
  15. In your database, is the product_description table feild "type" set to text? Check your database using PHPMyAdmin
  16. If you are copying and pasting the description from one excel file to your EP file, make sure that you copy the entire description because I had the same problem and that’s what I found. Some times it would only copy the first few lines, the rest would be left off. When you click on the cell that contains the description, it should show the description in the formula bar in excel. Copy from the formula bar and not the cell. Make sure your description file is .csv and not an excel worksheet. Good Luck, Rickey
  17. I dont know if this would work or not so don't go changing anything untill you investigate. How about this? Go to catalog/includes/configure.php Find: define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/'); And change it to: define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'http://www.myimageserver.com/images/'); Im sure if this would work, it would have to be done on the admin side too.

    Who's Online Enhancement 1.4

    Thanks Glen, I think my problem was with another whos online enhancement that was designed to show bots. I just replaced all the whos online files with what I guess is the latest version. I have another problem now. My page refreshes as it should but it dosent show products in the cart. Also the HTTP Referer dosen't change from one IP address to another. I might have a bot and 2 or 3 real customers all looking at different products from different IP addresses but the referer is the same. Is this the way it should work? Thanks, Rickey
  20. Do you have a box on the right side of the Easy Populate page that looks like this: If you do, copy and paste it here so I can see it. Mail In Rebates

    Well I figured it out on my own, I have a box in my categories.php page to add the mail in rebate to a new product. I will be trying to place this in a contribution for others as soon as I have the time. I have got this working on my store: Ricks PC Parts This is what it looks like on my web page

    Mail In Rebates

    I have been working on a new contribution to add a mail in rebate box to the product info page. I am no programmer by any means and I really don't do PHP that well. I have managed to get the admin/categories.php to show the textbox to add the rebate to the product and I made a table in my DB for mail in rebates. The admin will add the rebate to the product in the database like it should. My problem is getting the product_info.php to call the amount from the database and show it on the product page. I have defined the database tables in admin and the catalog. I have the table on the product_info.php page for the "Mail In Rebate". Can anyone give me any advice on pulling the figure from the database table and show it on my product page? I will post this contribution if I can make it work and I can't see any reason why it shouldn't. Thanks, Rickey

    I had this problem myself and it turned out to be white space after the "?>" on the pages. This means there are line numbers after the last "?>" on the page with no code. This may not be your problem and if anyone can figure it out, it's Jack
