Thanks for clearing things up, Mark. We all hope the contribution returns soon. Auctionblox has put a lot of work into it and if anyone had read the other thread he provided a lot of support as well. He was also helping out in the new Paypal contribution. I was waiting on new versions for both of the contributions before install; I assume many others were as well.

You didn't upload the language files correctly. Just upload them again into the correct folder. These are the files that are in /catalog/includes/language and /catalog/includes/languages/english. Make sure they have been uploaded.

Blueheart, I believe in the configuration there is an option to allow/disallow tiers. I believe if you have it disabled, then each affiliate gets credit only for sales from customers directly under it. Meaning, the parent gets credit only for the child's sales and not the grandchildren. I could be wrong about the whole thing so if you test it by creating 2 accounts let everyone in the thread know the results.

Virgil - Putting it at the end doesn't record the 'click' in admin, so I assume a sale would not be recorder either. I'll keep trying a bunch of different combinations I guess.

I got osc affiliate finally working correctly with banners, product links, sales, etc. I recently received a question from a customer that I wasn't able to figure out. How can one link to a category? I know how to link to the main page and to a specific product, but what would the url look like for a category. For example the category: http://www.mystore.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=3 Where does the "ref=N" go so that the osc affiliate recognized the referring site? Thanks in advance.

I just read 36 pages of this thread and it looks like everything I need for my ebay sales. Just one question that was posted previously and unanswered: and my other questions: I am using paypal ipn 0.981 on my site. I really dont have any need to upgrade to the shopping_cart_ipn, but I may do so; i am still undecided on that. Either way, how will your the new release (with paypal_shopping_cart bundled) affect the installed paypal contribution (either 0.981 or shopping_cart_ipn) on osc and normal non-ebay checkout? Is the current paypal_shopping_cart_ipn contribution fully functional? (A little bit off topic, but I am unclear)

I like the new updated version that also shows multiple statuses of orders. I was wondering if there is a way to order by products_id instead of orders_id?

You can always just upload and try it out. Thats what I did. I put it in my admin directory. then you can access it as admin/orderlist.php

It sucks that they chanced the API. It seems they now require the state to be passed to the server. For anyone with a shipping estimator in the cart, it seems the FedEx direct rate quote will not show up unless the customer is logged in. This is because the anonymous user does not have a state. Also, my International Ground rate quote is not showing up, while the other International services are showing up. Anyone have a similar problem?

Under server info you need to look for something like "--with-curl=/usr/local/bin'" under 'configure commands.' I believe this means that your php was compiled using curl. If you have this then specify "NONE" for the curl path for the FedEx module. However, if you have curl on your server but php is not compiled using curl, you can specify the path such as /usr/local/bin and it should work. I do believe you have to have ssl.

I emailed a few people about this module. It has many features that are pretty amazing. The response I received was that this module does not work with MS2. Also, I believe the file on the contribution page is not the complete one due to size constraints. Anyone try this with MS2? Or how about something that has similar functionalities?

THey have delivered as promise so we should all be thankful. I was wondering if the Cart Recapture Sales Tool will be a simple upgrade from the 1.7 version? I'm asking so I know if I should wait and download it all at once or download the 1.7 now and then upgrade after once the Recapture tool is available.
