  1. I left it for 5 minutes but it never stopped spinning.
  2. All of the stock themes work. If I change the link for the failing theme to one of the other themes it will load. If I change the link for a stock theme to my new theme, it fails to load. So that would indicate the theme is invalid, I think. I changed the theme as you mentioned but it still fails to load. I created a new copy of the theme but it failed too. One thing that seems wrong is that when I copy a theme, the popup never shows complete. I compared the files for the two themes and they match so that may not be an issue. I tried creating a new theme manually just in case but it fails too. The failing themes do load when the view in popup is used. I must be missing something.
  3. Thanks for the suggestions. I did try this before posting here but it would not open that way either.
  4. Since the other channels work, I didn't think that would be an issue but I tried it just in case and the rewrite is working. I will do another clean install but just to avoid problems, does the order of creating a theme and sales channel for it matter? The steps I take are: Copy a theme to create a new one. Add a symlink for the new theme. Copy a sales channel and set it to the new theme.
  5. @pandrei I created a new theme and added a sales channel for it. A symlink exists for the sales channel. But when I try to load that them in a browser, it fails with a 404 error. All of the other thems work as expected. Any thoughts on what this could be?
  6. In the admin/includes/boxes/catalog_easy_populate.php file right after the */ add this line: For the other error, in the osc_addons_compatibility.php file, change this line to
  7. What directory did you use from the addon?
  8. What version is your shop and what directory did you use from the addon?
  9. No, it is loading and there haven't been any problems with it. Your IP may be blocked. If you are getting a 400 response, please send me your IP and I will clear it.
  10. A new version has been uploaded. It adds compatibility code for all versions. If you already have V3.5 and it is working correctly without warnings, this update is not needed.
  11. is there a way to set the filters for all categories at one time instead of having to edit each of them?
  12. @pandreiI didn't see your reply so I deleted and re-installed. I had installed this via Softaculous and thought that might be the problem. The new install doesn't have that problem any longer so it seems like that installer might have a problem. I copied a theme in the new shop and added a sales channel for it. When I try to open that channel I just get a white page. No errors logs are created. Like the previous problem, I've not ran into this before so I don't know if it is due to some setting or a mistake I made. Any suggestions?
  13. This is a new installation. I copied a theme but when I clicked on customize, Firefox said it couldn't be opened (see attached). For original themes, clicking on customize shows the desktop and mobile parts but clicking on one of those gives the same result. If I click the button to open in a new window, the theme opens but the banners are not shown. The Learn More in FF says it fails because there is a link to another site in the one being opened. It also fails in Chrome but the message is just that it refuses to open. I didn't see anything in the backend logs regarding this. I tried clearing all cache but it didn't make a difference. My next step is to re-install but I thought I would post here first to see if there might be a reason for this or if someone wanted to check it?
  14. I'm surprised it works. The last update by USPS (last July) required those to be change. Maybe they removed that restriction. Many, if not most, shop owners don't know how to edit the database correctly. The safe way, and only way for some, is to do it via the module section.
  15. The module should be removed before the changes are applied, not after.
  16. If you are installing on a Wamp, or equivalent, server, see this thread.
  17. Still correct. I'm not aware of that being available and would be a mistake, in my opinion, if there is. It would just be a catastrophe waiting to happen. However, there is a place to change it when installing the package. That should be it.
  18. @pandrei Should the oscdb work with a shop using php 5.3? When I first tried it there was an error due to the code in the web/index.php file not being 5.3 compatible. I changed that and the script ran for a bit but died. The server logs shows a bunch of calls to get images but they all have a good result. There aren't any log files in the oscdb/runtime/logs/ directory. Any suggestions on this?
  19. Yes, that module is the problem. See this thread for details.
