  1. I'm sorry but I can't provide specific coding help like that in a support thread.

USPS Rate V4, Intl Rate V2 (official support thread)

I made some changes in the attached file. It is still not right but I don't have too much spare time to spend on it at the moment. Hopefully it will get you a little closer. usps.php

    FAQ's BS

This addon provides a FAQ page for any shop that is able to install addons via the modules content section. All of the FAQ's are handled in the admin. This version is compatible with any oscommerce shop that uses modules to load infoboxes in admin (about since V 2.3.1). This addon is based on the FAQ System addon but has many improvements and security fixes. Installation only requires one file change.

    FAQ's BS

A new version has been uploaded with these changes: Added an icon for Phoenix. Changes admin FAQ files to work with Phoenix 1.0.6.2.
  5. Oops, didn't notice I hadn't set the support thread option in apps. I've done that now and the support page is here. I'll upload the latest version shortly.
  6. I'm sorry but I don't know the answer and don't have a way to look into it. Hopefully someone else can help.

USPS Rate V4, Intl Rate V2 (official support thread)

@dculleyPlease try the attached. I haven't tested it thoroughly but I think it is working. usps.php
  8. @ludo41That error can also be caused by missing definitions in the language file so make sure the definition exists in the language file, if that is where it should be. The original addon should either have it there or have a module to install that adds the database changes.

    Gift Vouchers Secure

Without knowing where the error is occurring, I can only guess. You might try changing the text gv_account.php to gv_create_account.php.

    Gift Vouchers Secure

This is a new version of the long-standing Gift Vouchers addon. It is named "secure" because the previous versions, at least the ones I am familiar with, have a large number of security holes in them. All of those have been plugged in this version and other changes made to further the security. This version also has features other versions don't have. Here are some of the major points of this version: Apply to specific customers. Apply to specific products. Apply to specific categories. Apply to specific manufacturers. Include or Exclude options for products, categories and manufacturers. Date is set by jquery date picker so it doesn't expire. Show only certain coupons in admin display. Sortable columns in admin display. This can be used to replace existing installations but not directly. There are some changes that are needed beyond a normal installation. I have documented those as much as I can but due to the number of versions of Gift Vouchers, I can't cover them all. This version is mainly written for the CE version with the modular checkout addon by @raiwainstalled. It will work in other versions but the instructions are not complete, though using a compare program should work.
  11. It seems like every other question posted nowadays is about how to upgrade an older version of oscommerce and the op usually references the official version. This post is meant to provide a quick reference for how to convert an older shop to the current, recommended, one. First, the version that should be used is commonly called the Bootstrap, BS or Responsive version. It can be located here. One should not use the official version. The official version can be installed via the hosts control panel so it is easy to think that is the one to use - it is not. Since the BS version is not directly compatible with other versions, the following steps will be needed: Install the BS version into a new location Convert the database. See this thread for help with that. Install whatever addons the site needs. You need to be sure the addon will work with the BS version. This thread mentions specific ones but there are many others that will work. If in doubt, ask in the support thread for the addon in question. If you intend to use paypal, then install the Paypal App. At this point you should have a working shop. Test it thoroughly, especially the payment and shipping modules, before going live with it. When you are ready to go live, Mark your current shop as down for maintenance ( a simple index.html file is fine for this purpose ). Make a backup of the current shops database and files. Convert the database to the BS version. Replace all of the files with the new shops files. Edit the configure files so they work as the live shop. Remove the blocking page. If everything has gone correctly, the conversion should be complete.

Wrong redirect after add to cart

Wrong redirect after add to cart

You should ask questions about a specific addon in the support thread for that addon. Your version is on the edge of where addons like that would work without changes but it could be made to work.
  14. @radhavallabhThere was a post about the setting, as I recall, but that was several years ago and I didn't mark it so I don't know which it is. But it would have been a "strict" setting, of which there are several on the server. If you can't find the answer, then maybe explaining to your host that the problem is that url's with brackets, ( {} ), fail. Maybe they can figure it out from that.
  15. I assume you mean the right list on the country blocking page. If so, that list will only show entries when a block occurs. Also, be sure you have enabled country blocking in the settings. And if you use a google service, like remarketing, set the option not to block the search engines.
  16. If you are checking Who's Online, they won't disappear immediately. Once the session clears, they should be gone. To be clear, you should be entering something like this to block them: deny from 123.23.23.12/12

    Gift Vouchers Secure

It displays the balance of gift vouchers, it one exists. It is not required but the attached file will work in RC2 and maybe 2.3.4, depending upon its version. add_checkout_success.zip
  18. Yes. It is a very common problem. And once they find your site, they won't go away and it usually gets worse. Bandwidth is used by any connection to the hosting account. That includes search engines, of which there are quite a few that don't help most sites. I suggest you install View Counter. It gives you a much better idea of what is going on with your sites traffic, compared to Who's Online. It allows you to block the offending IP's and block countries, to name a few things it does.

Wrong redirect after add to cart

I'm sorry. I misunderstood what you are looking for. The only addon I aware of that does that is this one. It will work in Frozen, which is the version after yours, so there's a chance that it will work. It is an easy install so it would be worth trying.

Wrong redirect after add to cart

There are several popup addons. Which one to use depends on which is compatible with your shop. You can search the apps section for modal login but I think this is the support thread for the one you want. It's not really a support thread but is where the addon was developed so I think you can find the link to it in that thread.
  21. It's possible but I think it would needlessly slow the code down. Also, the link is not broken. It is just missing the name.
  22. I know you said this before but I was missing the "Navbar" in my reading of it so I was looking at the url of the product on the shopping cart page. I apologize for that mistake and the confusion it caused. The reason it is failing is because the code that generates the url is in a language file. That is perfectly fine code so I don't know why it fails. Maybe the code in this addon can't handle the language path? In any event, if you want it to work, find this line in includes/modules/navbar/templates/tpl_nb_shopping_cart.php echo sprintf(MODULE_NAVBAR_SHOPPING_CART_PRODUCT, $p['id'], $p['quantity'], $p['name']); and replace it with echo '<a class="dropdown-item" href="' . tep_href_link('product_info.php', 'products_id=' . $p['id']) . '">' . $p['quantity'] . ' x ' . $p['name'] . '</a>'; I see there is another language link in one of the footer modules so that would need to be changed to, if it bothers you. I don't see that the shopping cart change is needed. Search engines won't see it and it seems unlikely a customer would notice it, or care if they did. The cost of making the change is that you have to alter a core-code file so the trade-off may not be worth it. Just my opinion.

    HoneyPot Captcha

This addon prevents multiple emails from being sent through the forms on the site by adding a hidden challenge. Sending emails through the forms is a favorite thing to do by spammers. This has traditionally been handled by Googles Recaptcha code but that causes too much of a challenge in many cases and can easily frustrate your customers. This code doesn't present a challenge for the customer at all. The checking is done without the customer even knowing it. The code will work in any version of oscommerce but the instructions are just for the Community Edition and just for the contact us page (due to time constraints).
  24. Try uninstalling it and installing the next-to-last version. It doesn't use a hook file for the application_top. Also, be sure you are on php 7.3. That is not required but is what I run so maybe that is the difference.

    HoneyPot Captcha

@Philip79The IP's in the iplist file are obtained from myip.ms. They have a free list of known bad IP's. But they only supply recent ones so you have to run the cron job in HP to keep the iplist updated. I've no way to judge how the list compares to cleantalk. It might be that their list of IP's is far more inclusive but theirs is a paid service so it is not included in HP. You can manually add the IP's to the iplist file if you want. The cron job adds to the list so entries in it won't be deleted. But, to be clear, HP is meant to stop fake accounts from being created and to stop spam emails sent from the shop. When you say your site has been attacked, if you mean the IP's are doing something else, like scraping data, then I suggest you install View Counter since blocking attacks is its main purpose.
