  1. I had to give up on this one and used http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,598/page,4 back on 12/24/03. It's in German, but real easy to figure out and it worked.
  2. Try taking out one of those and see if that get's rid of the error.
  3. I know this is to obvious, but did you check "E-Mail From" address in admin/Configuration/My Store? Mine says <root@localhost>
  4. I found this contribution and it worked! It was a real easy install with only two files to add and none to modify. The readme is not in my english but it wasn't needed. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,598/page,3
  5. I tried that and couldn't get it to work with MS2. If it works let me know please. I tried the Multipickup v1.0 also and it caused tax to be left off for locals. I'm still searching.
  6. I checked out your newsletter and found you have the same problem that I had with. There is no unsubscribe.php and the link isn't clickable because of no space between at: and http: Here is what I used from catalog/includes/languages/english/newsletters.php Lines 30-32
  7. Just curious why you changed from the above? That is what I have and it works. I may be way off here, but I see /ypayret/ is a directory 2 levels above /catalog/ which would make me look outside the oscommerce cart. Just a thought.
  8. Anybody had the problem of all IPN's coming back as INVALID? I also have the famous problem of the customer's cart not emptying after using IPN. Today I updated from v.97 to v0.981 hoping to solve these problems, but I got a new one. The transactions could not be deleted in admin for IPN, but I solved that by going back to the 0.97 version of papalipn_txn.php
  9. You have set up your database on the server and it has a name. 1) Log in to phpmyAdmin 2) Click on your database "name" 3)Click the SQL tab at the top 4)Use the "Browse" utility to and give the location of the .sql file. 5) Hit "Go" and you are done. This process has been working for me. Give it a shot. I just learned to do this on these contributions, but when I did the first install my tech at web hosting did it for me. If it will not work for you it is no problem since your database should be empty and you can start over.
  10. It wouldn't let me edit again and the link should be /catalog/subscription_center.php?email=
  11. I gave up on the little green and red radio buttons which could be nice if you were making a lot of changes. Instead I mouse to the end of the line where the circled "i" is and click. Then the edit is easy at the bottom of the page that comes up. Yep this drove me nuts too. I just played with it till I got my own default header in "Header/Footer Infos". It seems that "Default Header" was only useful for copy and paste to "Header?Footer Info". I think at one point I was in the database with mySQL editing. Wish I could be more helpful, but it is a blur. Try using this as a link: It works for me.
  12. It would be nice to get the links working when welcoming a subscriber, but like you I found that they didn't. Like another poster I could find no unsubscribe.php. Here is what I did on that. I pointed them to the page where the customer gives his address to access the subscription center. In catalog/includes/languages/english/newsletters.php at around line 31 I put: this looks good for the two links on welcome email.
  13. Chris, I can now happily say that it is working fine (MS2). I really think it needs a version update to cover all the little fixes and tweaks. I had to incorporated all the little helps from these forums and do some on my own. It seems well worth the effort. There is also this thread on the same subject: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=31461&st=0
  14. Reply to myself: It was all functioning, but I couldn't figure out how to coordinate Newsletter Admin and Header/Footer Infos. The java popup help file for that was missing, and that might have explained it. It's just a matter of creating the newsletter body in Newsletter Admin and then going to Headers/Footers and associating footers with the newsletter by title. For me I am ready to call Newsletter Module v0.21 complete in my MS2, and thanks to using all the little fixes found in these forums I like it.
  15. Headers and Footers --------I'm not able to attach the nice headers and footers to the newsletters, but other than that the newsletters go out fine. I have banged around in admin with Newsletter Default and Header/Footer Info but there seems no way to attach them after they are created.
