  1. About placing infoboxes on my main page, I got this contribution and tried it out but is not working exactly right: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ons,1075/page,3 If you think you could help, here is what it is supposed to look like: http://www.propheticministries.net/Demo.htm and here is what it looks like with the contrib: http://www.propheticministries.net/Demo.php Thanks to whoever figures it out and let's me know!
  2. Actually Frank, what I have is a main site and the oscommerce catalog is only one part of the site ( in other words my file directory for the shopping cart is something like: public_html/mainsite/catalog). What I would like to do is use some of those variables, or at somehow get those infoboxes on the homepage of my mainsite. I am not looking for any particular order, I just want to find out how I can have them on it. Thanks, and I hope that clears it up a bit (if not, visit my site an get a feel for what I am talking about: http://www.propheticministries.net)
  3. Brian, or somebody with the know how, can you please tell me how I might use the following variables on my homepage? $cartcontents: The text version of the "Cart Contents" function. $whatsnewbox: The What's New box $searchbox: The Search box $cartbox: The Shopping Cart box $orderhistorybox: The Order History box (blank if not used on a page, ie: use not logged in) $bestsellersbox: The Best Sellers box $specialfriendbox: $reviewsbox: The Reviews box [code] I know someone has had to of done this by now, so I hope that you might be able to explain to me how it is done, Thanks.
  4. Brian, I am wanting to re-arrange the boxes in the right colum but I there is no variable for the notifications box as far as I know. Can you give me instructions on how to add a variable for it so that I can move it around in my sts_template.html page?
  5. Thanks Brian, I am glad that you are still supporting your contribution. I emplimented your suggestion to add a DIR_WS_BOXES variable to the configure.php file, and it worked as promised. The weird thing is, if I needed that variable defined (which I did), why was it not in the original configure file when I downloaded it? Thanks a lot
  6. Jack_mcs, I wish I could help you but I am having my own problems with the STS v1.8. I have dropped my database and deleted my osc files. I re-created my database and installed a fresh version of osc MS2.2. After installing the STS contrib I get this error: Can anyone help please, VERY URGENT--THIS IS A LIVE SHOP!
  7. I love this template system, and I have it working on one install. Today I tried to use it on another install of osc and I am getting this message when I attempt to access my catalog via http://www.propheticminstries.net/catalog/
  8. After reading more posts, I found that it may have to do with my includes/config file. Here is my file: And this is in v 8, I have never had any previous version prior to this install. Thanks in advance for the help :D
  9. I am getting an error message when I try to access my site via the IE browser: Can please tell me how to fix this little problem, the rest of the cart does not show at all, but if I type in the full path to the sts_template.html file I get the default tempate with blank table (except for the various strings that load each box).
  10. Here is the url to Big image v. 1.25 for MS2 only: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,614 Also, there is another mod called Image Resize 1.5, you can check into that to see if it will do more than two images.
  11. I believe there is a mod for multiple images (may only be two, I 'm not sure. I was told it existed, but I haven't actually checked it out yet). The name of the mod is Big_image or something like that.
  12. Wen I click on DEFINE MAINPAGE the WYSIWYG v 1.7 is not working, I am getting this message: Any Ideas on what's happening?
