Thanks so much for your help! shines

    [Contribution] STS v4

Quick question. I am using the latest and greatest osc and sts. I am doing quite well with customizing sts to make the pages look how I want. It has been a journey. I am to the point now where i need to design some static pages such as, specs, bios, about us, things like that. I want to keep the sts content though and i cant figure out what i need to do. Do I save as mypage.php.html and keep in the sts template folder? content folder? catalog folder? Do I need to have: <?php DEFINE ('STS_CONTENT_END_CHAR', '$'); ?> at the top? I feel like i have tried all this and nothing seems to be working? Any help would greatly be appreciated. shines

    [Contribution] STS v4

I have a quick one... hopefully. I am trying to do a custom template for specific products on STS product_info.php.html page. I know how to make my own product_info.php.html page and drop the variables where I want them, but when I design a specific layout for a specific product and name it product_info.php_28.html and upload it, the variables do not work. It displays just fine, but no data is coming in like $addtocartbutton and $startform and so on, i looked at the product_info.php and the only thing i saw different was the: <?php DEFINE ('STS_CONTENT_END_CHAR', '$'); ?> at the top, i put that in mine too and it did not work! Is there something else i have to do to enable the use of custom product info pages? Thanks, shines

    [Contribution] STS v4

Hi guys, i think i posted this earlier in the wrong place. I have STS 4.5.2 and it works great as far as the sts_template.html goes and lets me drop place holders for the functions and all that. I am having a real problem designing each infobox as I want to. I understand and can use the use of: $headertext $content I also understand the use of: infobox_information_header.php.html infobox_information.php.html These will make it so that i can make a table or whatever so that I can drop $content in and it just populates the box i created. But lets take the $cartbox for example. $content just drops in a table that I can create in infobox_shopping_cart.php.html I can make the table look how i want and i can make the text of the cartbox look how i want. But what I cant do, (easily) is change the whole way it is displayed. I understand that the way it is displayed is in boxes/shopping_cart.php I can edit some of the way it looks in there being a beginer in PHP but I am wondering if there is a different way to do this? There are place holders for say, product_info.php that allow you to drop the variables in any way you see fit. Is there a way to do this with infoboxes? Or is there another way to do this? The ultimate goal is to be able to do stuff like say, separate the Products in your $cartbox with a small line, or move the Quantity down by where the price is displayed. Actually EDITING $content for each infobox. I would really appreciate the help. Even if you say the only way is to edit the boxes/whatever. I just need help. Thanks so much for you time. Steve

    STS infoboxes

  7. Hey there, I am using current versions of osc and sts, my $content in my template is not showing up in IE but it does in Firefox. I have gone through it and through it and I am not seeing why. Whats really weird is i can see the code in the source. Any ideas? here is the site: http://kushcake.com/store/catalog/

    Category Info Box Edit

Well I hope someone can help me. I did figure out one thing if you change this on includes/boxes/categories.php: $categories_string .= '<br>'; if ($tree[$counter]['next_id'] != false) { tep_show_category($tree[$counter]['next_id']); } } ?> TO THIS: $categories_string .= '<tr><td>'; if ($tree[$counter]['next_id'] != false) { tep_show_category($tree[$counter]['next_id']); } } ?> </td></tr> That will at least put each category in it's own TRTD so that you can apply styles to it, but that still does not help for graphics next to the text or subcat css issues. Anyone else can help?! I really am trying on my own too! shines
  9. Hi There! Installed STS and am working with the $content areas in the infobox. The header i get, the $content just puts all the categories in one big TD separated by BR's I would like to have each category in it's on tr td so that i can css the background. I would also like to be able to have a separate style for the subcats. I have seen people do this in some of the template monster osc templates, but I can't figure out how they did it with no access to the code. Please help! Client waiting! Shines
  10. Got a problem that i cant figure out. sts is installed and it works great but the moment i define my ssl (https) in the configure.php and set enable ssl to true the login and checkout urls are broken and looking for something like this: checkout_shipping.php?osCsid=96225f2901d8484f2289e3a76c454b03 instead of just checkout_shipping.php, it does the same thing for the login page. this is prob easy but i am a n00b and cant find it in the documentation. thanks for your help
