I am not sure if this is what you might want to try, but you could revise the New Products page with different wording and maybe have it on your main page. I doesn't break it into categories, but it will show all of your products on one page. Go to your "http://yourwebsite.com/products_new.php page and see if it looks like you can use it for what you want. If you need help modifying it post back. I am not a programmer, but might be able to help.

I went into my admin and clicked "check links" and got this "Link Check Result: Error Reading URL" for the link that I am referring to. If I copy and paste the URL into my browser it comes up. I am so confused.

Yes, my phrase is part of my website url and it is there on their reciprocal link page. I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but their link page URL is quite long and strange. Thanks for all your help!!

Hi, I have this installed and it is sort of working. I have added a few links myself and they are there. I received an email from someone who tried to submit a link, but the program could not confirm my link on their reciprocal page so it would not let it go through. I checked it manually and it is there. I then went in myself through admin and entered their info, but it still doesn't see the link on their site. The other thing I found is that when I tried to log in and edit one of the links I put on, it did not go to another page as I had thought it would to edit my link info, it just refreshed that one. Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

Hi, I don't know of a contrib like what you are explaining, but I use the "ot discount coupons codes" contrib for my customers who contact me for a discount. You can create a discount code for any amount you want and only tell that customer the code to use for their specific order. It does not change the price of the item itself, but will deduct the amount of the coupon during checkout. Hope this helps, Leslie

Is your oscommerce in the main root directory or under it? There was different instructions as to which way yours is set up for the htaccess file. Hi Eric, Not sure on this one, but try checking this. Look to make sure what you have this as: define('FILENAME_DEFAULT', 'index.php'); in your catalog/includes/filenames.php file. It would appear that you may have it as define('FILENAME_DEFAULT', 'html'); in error. Check that and see what you find. Hope this helps. Leslie

Hi, I believe you should use a files compare program to compare your original index file and the one that came with the contribution. These programs will show you the 2 files side by side and highlight any differences in them so you can easily detect what you need to change. There are some you can download for free as I have done. The one I use is actually called "Files Compare Tool" You just copy what you know is different and needed from the contrib file into your original file and upload the changed file. I would also highly recommend saving a backup copy of your original file somewhere that you won't accidentally change it in case the new file doesn't work for some reason and you can't remember how it originally was. Unfortunately, I did this once and it took me a while to get it working. Post back if you need further assistance.

Hi, I am not 100% I am correct, but I believe what you need to do is use the "Table Rate" shipping module in admin. You would set it up something like: 75:4.90, 10000:0.00 (I put in 10000 -meaning order total $10,000- for lack of a better number for the total order thinking you wouldn't have an order above that) I do not know where this "shipping spot" is that you mentioned unless you mean the flat rate shipping module or per item shipping module. It sounds like you would turn them off and install only the table rate and change the default amounts to what you want. Hope that helps! Leslie

Hi, there is a contrib to add an all_products.php which lists all the products under their categories, but no images and they can click on any of them as a link. I have also installed a contrib, I forget what it is called now and I have to go out for a little while, but it puts all your categories with subcategories on the front page with links to all. I can get that info later if you want. I am not sure what you are looking for, so I don't know where to direct you. Also, I have found that the "New Products" link actually shows all my products! so on my husband's site I just changed the wording a bit to say "All Products" instead of "New Products" and I believe that I took it of of mine as it is not necessary for it.
