  2. Hi there, Does anyone know if this can be done? I basically want to show a part of the 'products description' under the products name in the list. I though that this contribution would do the trick http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1375 but because i have a few mods including STS it doesn't appear to work. Does anyone have any clues? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Richard
  3. Hi, Thanks for that. Just another quicky ;) , is there a way to reduce the border size between each image of subcategory? I'm integrating another html template which has its own stylesheet so i am trying to figure out how to alter the infoboxes and content etc. I havent much experience in coding etc so i'm working a bit byt trial and error. I'll let you know how i get on Cheers
  4. Hi Great contribution. Just trying to create a custom template now. Just a few quickies if anyone can help. I am using the simple 'test' template. Which file do you modify to change the way stuff is displayed in the content window? I'm wanting to reduce the size of the category layout so that it will fit in my new template. Cheers! Rich
  5. Hi, Firstly the controbution is great, many thanks for that! Secondly, does anyone know if it can the contribution can be adapted so that it reads primary categories rather than products? and therefore link to secondary products screen when clicked on? Thanks Richard
  6. I doubt that i have the expertise to solve the problem. Is this something one could sort whom has zero knowledge of css and basic html 'skills' ?
  7. Bugger, i didnt install the STS myself so this may be interesting. Just out of interest, did you take a look at www.rail-order.co.uk to see what i mean? Could a messed up categories.php file cause a problem also? I'll have a play tonight and report back. Thanks again
  8. On another note, STS is installed. Should that make a difference?
  9. Hey thanks for the quick reply! I've just checked the index.php file under the root, and the code <?php if ( defined('FWR_SUCKERTREE_MENU_ON') && FWR_SUCKERTREE_MENU_ON === 'true' ) echo '<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="fwr_suckertree_css_menu.php" />'; ?> is present. I've turned the menu on now, www.rail-order.co.uk It dosen't even show the fwr_arrow.gif files so i'm guessing something might be wrong. I'm pretty sure that no other contributions have been done on the menus in the past which might have conflicted with this contribution. Any ideas?
  10. Hi, I am trying to get the contribution to work. I have followed the instructions and the problem that i am getting is that as soon as i swtch it on in admin my categories are already maximised rather than appearing when i hover the mouse over one. After following the instructions, the first error i got was the categories.ser error ( Warning: fopen(1_categories.ser) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/httpd/vhosts/rail-order.co.uk/httpdocs/includes/functions/fwr_cat_functions.php on line 118 Couldn't fopen _categories.ser.ser) This happens when the cache path is set to DIR_FS_CACHE but the website works if i change that to false. I'm not sure if this is causing my problems. When the menus work, do they kind of look like this, http://www.the-bed-shop.com/ Thanks Rich
