Sorry I must have missed it. English is not my first language :( I found the .htaccess file in the current release of oscommerce. Thank you!

Would this be the correct htaccess file? http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6066 ??

I ran the first test and did the second. Half my website was moved into the quarantine folder. Obviuosly thats not the point. Should I disable the quarantine option? PS: OK, where would I find teh correct .htaccess file then?

Thank you for your reply even though this doesn't seem to be part of the site monitor. I was not aware that I had deleted anything from the images folder and when I checked the original zip file (oscommerce-2.2rc2a.zip) I could a .htaccess in the images folder. There is one in the root folder of the shop but it doesn't mention the images folder. Would the htaccess be part of another add-on?

Ok. I switched the paths and it worked. Thank you. I am now getting the error "Your images directory is not protected by a .htaccess file." I did not realise that this would have to be done. Where would I find out how to do this?

I have the exact same problem, but don't know how to identify the right path. I tried the following: /var/www/vhosts/domain.de/ /var/www/vhosts/domain.de/httpdocs/shop/admin/ I am on a vServer. What am I missing here?

Hi Jack, Happy New Year! I carefully read through this thread and I think we misunderstood each other. Could I start one last try to make sure that we didn't just miscommunicate? I originally asked the following question: I get the following Error Message after I used the header_tags_seo_convert.php: Warning: main(includes/languages/german/header_tags_seo.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /srv/www/vhosts/myshop.de/httpdocs/shop/admin/header_tags_seo_convert.php on line 171 Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/languages/german/header_tags_seo.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php') in /srv/www/vhosts/myshop.de/httpdocs/shop/admin/header_tags_seo_convert.php on line 171 You answered: The error is saying it can't find the includes/languages/german/header_tags_seo.php. If you look in the includes/languages/german/ directory, is there a header_tags_seo.php file? [No there isn't] Further you said that this file should be there from the original installation of "HeaderTags_V_2.6.3". It isn't in the zip file. So I still have no idea where this file is :( Do you? At the moment, all my Titles, Descriptions, etc are just empty! PS: Could you pm me the file that you want translated? Otherwise I'll probably spend hours translating the wrong one. I will translate it, whether you can help me or not, because of the time you already spent on this! Thank you!

I triple checked the original Header Tags Contribution and the update instructions but can't find my error. Can't you just pm me the \catalog\includes\languages\german\header_tags_seo.php file? Even it is in english, I don't care by now... Thank you!

The original file in the Header Tags Contrib (2.6.3) in the folder \catalog\includes\languages\german is called "header_tags.php" and not "header_tags_seo.php" which is what the error message asks for... I found no mentioning of that file anywhere in the Update from 2.6.3 to 3.0.0 Textfile.

OK, so why did I get this error message? And where EXACTLY is the file that I need to upload there?

Ok maybe I wasn't clear, but thats what I was saying all along. There is no "header_tags_seo.php" in the catalog part of my file. In fact there is only catalog/includes/ No languages folder at all. Can I suggest something so I don't waste your time any further? You PM me the right file (the header_tags_seo.php for the shop side [catalog/includes/languages/german]) AND the admin file that you yould like translated and hopefully we both will be happy :) Thank you again so much for your patience!

I seem to be very slow. I copied the file to admin/includes/german and got this error upon executing header_tags_seo_convert.php Fatal error: Cannot redeclare do_magic_quotes_gpc() (previously declared in /srv/www/vhosts/mydomain.de/httpdocs/shop/admin/includes/functions/compatibility.php:18) in /srv/www/vhosts/mydomain.de/httpdocs/shop/admin/includes/functions/compatibility.php on line 18 Line 18 in the compatibility document talks about magic quotes. Not sure at all what that means, but the contribution is not working yet. As a token of my appreciation for your endless patience, could I offer you my services as translator for the german part of your scripts? None of that Google Translator stuff, but real, contextual translations. PM if you have any file that need translation and I will do my best!

OK here is what I don't get: The error message asks for a "header_tags_seo.php" in the catalog part of the shop (includes/languages/) The only header_tags_seo.php file I found is in the admin section of the installation package (\catalog\admin\includes\languages\english). Should I just copy this file to includes/languages/german ?? That can't be right?!
