  1. Thanks Jon You were absolutely right. Problem solved. Great work.
  2. Hi I just installed jonatanvalencia's latest Contribution (22 Mar 2007) Google XML Sitemap - Admin 2.2 + Better README and have run into trouble. Warning: fopen(c:/............/oscommerce//sitemapproducts.xml) [function.fopen]: failed to create stream: Permission denied in c:\.................................\oscommerce\sitemap.class.php on line 592 ERROR: Google Product Sitemap Generation FAILED! On checking this line it is obvious that an attempt to write to the site is the problem. My problem is, to what folder (Directory) is the file being written? I cannot change permissions because I cannot figure out where the file is supposed to be written. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Cliff

  4. Regarding Post 15. I have solved the problem. A very careless mistake on my part. I copied an updated orders.php file to the wrong location. Corrected that error and is now back on track. I apologize to anyone that have spent time trying to recognize the problem I proposed in Post 15 earlier. Thanks for your help I need to congratulate the contributors of the MVS Orders Editor. I have the install completed and working just fine. Great work. Thanks Cliff
  5. Hi I have just completed upgrading my MVS files to use the Order Editor for MVS and it seems to be working. While in the Admin area I did not encounter any errors. However I have created a problem with another aspect of my store. In testing to determine what new orders would look like in the Order Editor I got the following errors after placing objects in my Cart and was about to proceed to the Checkout. (Clicked on the Check-out button and got the following error message) Warning: Missing argument 1 for order() in ......................\oscommerce\includes\classes\order.php on line 15 Fatal error: Call to undefined function: tep_get_country_id() in ...............\oscommerce\includes\classes\order.php on line 76 I am not able to proceed beyond this point. Everything was working before the upgrade and I didn't make changes in the ..\oscommerce\includes\classes\order.php file. Suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Cliff
  6. Thanks - you have been extremly helpful. I'll now follow the instructions in that thread. I notice that you have made that contribution as well. I'll let you know how things go. Thanks again Cliff
  7. Thanks for the instruction. I have completed the install but still have problems with getting my problem corrected. Here is my situation Installed the osCommerce 2.2 Milestone 2 Update 051113 Modified the Shipping Modules with the MVS 1.1 Contributions - Worked extremely well Installed the PAYPAL IPN Contribution - PayPal_Shopping_Cart_IPN_v3.1.5 - Worked well when tested in the Paypal Developer Central Installed Payment module using - Money Order or Check. The store processes work just fine and everything works as it should from a purchasing perspective. The Problem. In the Administration of the Accounts all Orders placed with Paypal record properly, display properly, and appears to function as it should. Orders that are placed with the Money Order or check module display in the Order sections for Vendors and Customers, however when I try to edit, view an invoice or packing slip I get the following error. Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in ...........\oscommerce\admin\includes\functions\database.php on line 107 LInes 95 - 115 ------------------------------------------------------- 95 return tep_db_query($query, $link); 96 } 97 98 function tep_db_fetch_array($db_query) { 99 return mysql_fetch_array($db_query, MYSQL_ASSOC); 100 } 101 102 function tep_db_result($result, $row, $field = '') { 103 return mysql_result($result, $row, $field); 104 } 105 106 function tep_db_num_rows($db_query) { 107 return mysql_num_rows($db_query); 108 } 109 110 function tep_db_data_seek($db_query, $row_number) { 111 return mysql_data_seek($db_query, $row_number); 112 } 113 114 function tep_db_insert_id() { 115 return mysql_insert_id(); --------------------------------------------------------- I felt that the Orders editor "order_editor_2_9_1" may work out this problem and so I set out to upgrade. My upgrade has not solved the problem and I ran into another problem with the Vendors Module when I tried running the new editor. At this point I have restored things to the problem outlined above. I'll need to correct this before I can move on to the newer Orders Editor. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks again Cliff
  8. I have access to phpMyAdmin as you suggested and have been able to open the SQL textbox. This is a first for me. Below is the information from the Install.txt file. Am I to copy it entirely into the SQL textbox and Click GO?? Or is there any portion of this that makes up the complete form??? Sorry to sound so ignorant, but I have not worked with database commands before - just microsoft access. ALTER TABLE orders ADD shipping_tax DECIMAL( 7, 4 ) DEFAULT '0.000' NOT NULL ; INSERT into configuration (configuration_id, configuration_title, configuration_key, configuration_value, configuration_description, configuration_group_id, sort_order, last_modified, date_added, use_function, set_function) values ('', 'Order Editor- Display Payment Method dropdown?', 'DISPLAY_PAYMENT_METHOD_DROPDOWN', 'true', 'Display Payment Method in Order Editor as dropdown menu (true) or as input field (false)', '1', '21', NULL, '2006-04-02 11:51:01', NULL, 'tep_cfg_select_option(array(\'true\', \'false\'),'); Thanks Cliff
  9. I am in the process of developing a marketing business with OSC and I am very interested in upgrading the orders module as suggested in this thread. I have downloaded the files and am ready to carry out the upgrade however, I have very limited knowledge of working with MYSQL database. I am not sure how to ALTER TABLE as outlined in Step 1. I feel comfortable completing Steps 2 & 3. I need help in making the Database table changes. Thanks, Cliff
