  1. As far as I can see sales data is stored as Net Sales and the tax and gross are calculated on the invoice sub total. Unfortunately, when a new product is entered the gross amount (to two decimal places) viz dollars and cents is converted to net and stored as 'products_price' and/or 'final_price' (to four decimal places). The existing php script exports the Net Amount of an order on a line by line basis, and the Gross for the whole invoice total to two decimal places. Rounding by mySQL means that when the individual lines are multiplied back to obtain a Gross Line figure we run into errors that the accounting software will not tolerate. I am not a php programmer and would appreciate guidance on how the full detail shown on the standard invoice could be incorporated into the export file generated by exportorders.php Regards, peter_of_stirling
  2. I have installed this package Ver 2 and can enter data, edit etc through Admin using FCKeditor but can not get it to publish. The data is stored in the database on a Ubuntu server. This time I have not confused the issue by running the additional sql The package ran very smoothly up to the publishing stage. The default Shipping and other empty info boxes are not listed under the vertical Dynamenu Any help would be appreciated. Regards, peter_of_stirling
  3. Hi all, This is a brilliant set of scripts. However, it could be improved in the following aspects:- The area size is too small for satisfactorily making a nice lay out when entering in to it As mentioned by another, the fck_editor does not appear in this screen although it does in product descriptions, emails etc. I lack the coding skills to achieve this, and have put many hours into playing with the code - to no avail! Any assistance on this forum would be appreciated. Regards, peter_of_stirling

    Contribution: Category Descriptions

Hi all, I have it working with Dynamenu Horizontal Drop-down menu. Having used fck_autoinstaller I can use fck editor in ordinary Category input screens. However, Category Descriptions input screens are skewed to the right of Categories/Products Action Status and are only about 400 px wide. There are no fck editor bars at the top of this input screen. Output is fine. Are there any modifications that I should make? Regards, peter_of_stirling
  5. Hi Nate, Dynamenu is by far the best Horizontal Menu for multiple level Categories mouse over drop downs. What would be involved in being able to include the various Information links such as Conditions, Shipping, Extra Pages and Contact us? Regards, peter_of_stirling

    Export orders into csv

Hi David, I am still trying to make your efforts work. I have even installed it on to another clean domain without any success! Conversely, the latest contribution of export customers worked without me needing to do any changes apart from those recommended. Admittedly, that requires far less filtering than the full extraction of orders. I note that with that code it starts with if (!_POST['submit']) instead of if (!$submitted || $submitted !=1) and concludes with :- header("Content-Type: application/force-download\n"); header("Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=exportsname_" . date("Ymd") . ".txt"); header("Pragma: no-cache"); header("Expires: 0"); echo $csv_output; die(); } require(DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'application_bottom.php'); //function main ?> I have tried applying some of these different ideas to your code - but still without success. Any further ideas as to why I can not make it work will be appreciated!! Regards, peter_of_stirling

    Export orders into csv

Hi Schadeboy I note that you have succeeded! I am still not having any thing download. Which latest version are you using - is it the one with dropdown lists? If so, yes my orders do show both order no and date. I select a number of them but when I press Export to CSV the routine seems to run whilst the green bar is open at the bottom of the screen. It then throws me right out of /admin and brings me back to the admin log in screen. I am not a php programmer and if I experiment I only seem to make matters worse. I have also tried with several other contributions supposodly producing CSV also without success. The only one that works is on http://www.mt-soft.com.ar/2007/07/02/php-script-mysqldump/. This seems to use ob gzhandler instead of Generate CSV. I am not clever enough to know how to adapt the ob gzhandler approach to David's script. Any help would be appreciated! Export orders into csv

Hi all, I can not get the data to download to my desktop. I have no trouble with getting the XML export to download to my desktop. I note with that script they use a dataexport folder within the admin folder. This contains an xml file. I have never had any success with the cache setup. Would this have any bearing on my problem? I am not a php programmer but use cut and paste plus trial and error to achieve results. Regards, peter_of_stirling

    Attributes ceiling

Hi all, I wish to add a simple choice:- 1. for Windows 2. for OS X After I had applied this choice to ten items the first screen is full. Then I added another item and the second screen symbol appeared but I can not get to the second screen even though the hand shows. What is the trick, or have I reached some storage ceiling? SPPC and selling downloads

Hi Jan, I am currently using OSCommerce-2.2ms2-060817 with SPPC-4.15 I went into Admin, Configuration, Download, Enable Download set to true, and Download by Redirect set to true. Then I went to Catalog, Categories/Products and thought that I was entering a new product. However, when I tried to enter a new product then went to Preview I get Warning Variable passed to each() is not an array or object in /vhosts/webaddress/html/catalog/admin/includes/classes/object_info.php on line 17 Warning Variable passed to each() is not an array or object in /vhosts/webaddress/html/catalog/admin/includes/classes/object_info.php on line 18 I wonder what could have changed since I entered the last product? SPPC and selling downloads

I have been using SPPC successfully for some time now. However, I would like to add software for sale by download. When I tried to enable downloads in the Configuration I found that on adding products they would not save but gave errors. Before I proceed further I wondered whether SPPC would have affected this feature in any way. Regards, peter_of_stirling

    ?Peachtree CSV Export?

Hi Joe, I have just installed your patches. When I click on the single export button the following message is received from osc_export.php?id=5003 "You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1". It is interesting that it has at least found the highlighted Order#5003. Have you encountered this error message before? The server is running MySQL 5.0.16-Debian_0.dotdeb.0 and PHP Version: 4.4.1-0.dotdeb.2 (Zend: 1.3.0) Regards, Peter
  14. Sorry, The title is a little ambiguous, It refers to Peachtree CSV Export under which I intended it to sit. Regards, Peter
