    We recently had a web develop integrate Braintree to our OsCommerce website, however we keep getting card declines. some payments go through but most are declining. We have tried with having 3D verifucation turned on and off but makes no difference. Would anyone be able to advise if they have had the same issue or know a way of solving this problem. Greatly appiciated.

    Has been made in to a header module as it’s easier to keep it on the top of the display on small screens. Other than that the rest is the same as the box version.

    You can also set the sub-cats display depth in admin. Other than that the rest is the same as the box version.

    @Wal The subcats will require you to make a change to the code. In public_html/includes/modules/boxes/bm_jcm_popout_categories.php around line 39 find $OSCOM_CategoryTree->setMaximumLevel(1); and change the number to the level you need like $OSCOM_CategoryTree->setMaximumLevel(3); This will then when you click on a cat once when you go back to the menu a second time will show the sub cats So this will become this... see the 2 subcats now shown? At some point I will get round to adding the level set into the admin so users can change it without needing to edit code. However I think that will have to wait untill things get better around here!!

    JcM index Specials BS Carousel V1.1

    Has been updated to fix a few silly error and...

    Updated to introduce specials count as minimum of 4 specials required to display and more that 4 to animate. If less than 4 specials nothing will show.

    This is an Index add-on that lets you place a carousel banner on the index page of your site which can be animated if required.

    JcM Index Banner carousel Animated V1.0 This is an Index add-on that lets you place a carousel banner on the index page of your site which can be animated if required. It will show up to 8 banners. It allow start and finish dates to be set for the banners. This can only be done for the last 7 as the first must always be active for carousel to run. Banner will only show when start date is reached and will turn off on end date. The date must be entered in correct format. Simply copy over all files install and turn on like any other add-on. The overlay text for each banner and images can be set in the language file. You can also select which pages it is to be shown on. The animation is set by the header tags add-on which must be installed once only. It’s a bit complicated to explain but if you play with it you will figure it out. Each banner can have its own animation as can the 2 text groups on each banner. You can also use the animated class’s on any other add-on if you wish by simply adding the required class. That’s it enjoy. It has only been tested on Phoenix 1.0.5.4 only. Can be seen working on this custom test site

Stock low level can be set in admin. Will show stock level using traffic light colors Green for Good Amber for Low Red for No Stock Has been tested on Phoenix 1.0.5.4 only. That’s it Enjoy!...

    Had a look at that and the USA store and very impressive. Both preform much better than I expected with a full load of add-on's and high products count. Will be intresting to see how your CE version turns out. Will be good to have another option on the forum. Looking fowared to trying it out.

    Has nothing to do with cutting corners it was a commercial desision based on user experiance and feed back. Result was simpler for us to handle products and much simpler for customers to find and order what they were looking for. If complex attributes is what you need then that's fine everyone has own needs and ways to achive these.

    Fredi, One of the reasons these old add-on's have not been updated could be that very few people use them? I stopped using even simple attributes many years ago. We insted opted to simply have each veriant as a true product. This has the advantage of giving your site more content which google will like. Yes it takes a bit more time but not much and it's best to make an effort to make the content individual rather than just cut and paste. I know this is not an option for everyone... on the plus side saw a big drop in wrong orders! one of the issues we always had with attributes is people either used the default or did not even look at the option and assumed what they needed was not available. The number of times we had a email or call "but I need a 1.6m version?" yes just use the drop down to see all the options! 😊...
