  1. I am using the file that came with 3.0. However, when I click on ANY info to bring up the edit/delete/etc buttons, it does not appear. Any help?

    EDIT: This does not happen on page 1, but all the other pages...

    When I click on any product on any other page than one, it brings the product permanently to the first page it seems. What gives?

  2. Hi,

    I was wondering if anybody can please help me? I want to make it so that when I create a new Featured Product, only the last 500 products are listed in the drop-down. I have tried using limit in just about every query there is, but I just can't get it working. Can anyone help?

  3. At the same time when importing products into the store, I would like a new product notification email to be sent out to some people. Now the code for the mail itself I have nailed down, but I am not sure about the right place to put the code in Easy Populate?

    Also wondering what kind of variable, if any, or code, I could use to print out a list of the newly added products in this mail?

    I figured out where to put the mail (in the same section as // this record was missing the product_model). However, I am still wondering how I can print out a list of the newly added products in the mail (products_name)?

  4. Hey surfalot, or anyone who might know:

  5. Did someone manage to add more than one type of gift wrap? This would make it possible for the client the choose for example a box or paper to giftwrap the product(s).

    1. Copy-paste includes\modules\giftwrap\giftwrap.php and name it gift2.php

    2. Open up and edit, and make the following changes:

    class giftwrap -> class gift2

    function giftwrap -> function gift2

    $this->code = 'giftwrap'; -> $this->code = 'gift2';

    Search and replace (Match Case) GIFT_ with GIFT2_ (17 occurences)

    3. Copy-paste includes\languages\english\modules\giftwrap\giftwrap.php and name it gift2.php

    Search and replace (Match Case) GIFT_ with GIFT2_ (3 occurences)

    Rename text to something suitable

    when a customer enters the checkout_shipping page he can select between "giftwrap" and "no giftwrap". "giftwrap" is selected by default, but i want "no giftwrap" to be the default value. i already tried to change the sort order of these two options in admin -> modules -> giftwrap, but "giftwrap" still appears on top and is selected by default. why can't i sort these options?

    Also wondering how you make No Giftwrap selected by default? For me, No Giftwrap shows up on top (sort order 1, the other 2), however it is not selected by default.

  7. Well I think I found a good solution. I use this to print the selected currency of the customer, because I force the checkout in certain currencies:

    In application.top.php, find:

    // navigation history

    Add before:

    if (substr(basename($PHP_SELF), 0, 8) != 'checkout') {

    if ($currency == 'USD') {

    $local_currency = 'USD';

    tep_draw_hidden_field('local_currency', $local_currency);

    }

    elseif ($currency == 'EUR') {

    $local_currency = 'EUR';

    tep_draw_hidden_field('local_currency', $local_currency);

    }

    elseif ($currency == 'GBP') {

    $local_currency = 'GBP';

    tep_draw_hidden_field('local_currency', $local_currency);

    }

    elseif ($currency == 'CAD') {

    $local_currency = 'CAD';

    tep_draw_hidden_field('local_currency', $local_currency);

    }

    elseif ($currency == 'AUD') {

    $local_currency = 'AUD';

    tep_draw_hidden_field('local_currency', $local_currency);

    }

    }

    Now you can use this variable to whatever you wish on the checkout pages.

  8. Just to add to my own post (why can't I edit it?):

    My question about seelily.com being clean and tidy was actually related to the javascript functionality of the radiobuttons, as well as the blue line that is used. I have fixed that now, however I still have a problem concerning the currency.

    I am also trying to get the Shipping Insurance contribution to work with this. But for some reason it does not register that I checked the button on the Confirmation page. I did a little searching, and one guy said he fixed it by catching the post var and setting a session variable there. Does anyone know how that can be done?

  9. Apologies if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything when searching. I am wondering about two things.

    I have installed FEC 3.2 on my test-site (about to move it over to the live one in not long), and I currently use two payment methods: paypal and credit card (both use external payment processing pages/gateways).

    But due to circumstances with my CC gateway, I need to enforce the payment to be in certain currencies for depending on what the customer selects. So I have put this code after tep_redirect(tep_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_SHIPPING, '', 'SSL')); in checkout_confirmation.php:

      if ($HTTP_POST_VARS['payment'] = 'bbva_ZhenIT') {
     $currency = 'EUR';
     }
     elseif ($HTTP_POST_VARS['payment'] = 'paypal') {
      $currency = 'USD';
     }

    However, when I use this code, the payment method is changed to CC (bbva...) even though if I selected Paypal. Does anyone know what is causing this?

    Also I checked out the Checkout at http://seelily.com/, and the are really clean and tidy compared to what I see on my page. Any tips of how to fix this up?

    This is a great contribution, hope to get some help regarding these short questions. :)

  10. Sorry dimitryous, I forgot to post it here.

  11. I am about to hire someone to install this thingy for me and fix all the bugs....but before I go and spend my money...anyone here that can help me??

    I would advise against it, as currently there are several people working on the next version of this contribution. Now there is no particular release date for it, as the fix/todo-list is rather extensive as you can see from my post (not a complete list either), but hopefully it will be done in due time.

  12. hmm....I didn't find this 'second' instance...but I think maybe I am referring to the wrong place...it's the NEW PRODUCTS section that has the BUY NOW -link

    I hadn't thought of that. This is perhaps another problem that needs addressing, the fact that the buy-it-now button is still visible and usable on all the other pages where the products are listed.

    I haven't tested it, but I think a simple check like on the product_info page should be enough to fix it:

    if ($auction_product) {
      //product is an auction, do nothing
     } else {
    //regular product, print the buy-it-now button
    <?php echo tep_draw_hidden_field('products_id', $product_info['products_id']) . tep_image_submit('button_in_cart.gif', IMAGE_BUTTON_IN_CART); ?>
    }

    Or reverse it:

    if (!$auction_product) {
      <?php echo tep_draw_hidden_field('products_id', $product_info['products_id']) . tep_image_submit('button_in_cart.gif', IMAGE_BUTTON_IN_CART); ?>
     } else {
    }

    Find all instances of where you need this done, and replace it with the above.

  13. Looking at your code I had the same approach.

    My question is now to make the " Terms & Conditions: " radio button working.

    I succeed the countdown to be functionnal! Wouf.

    Still looking to get the " You won " message.

    But I do not know the exact conditions to get it ...

    Keep on the good work.

    Look at my post at the top of the page. I have a suggestion for at least a partial solution, but I am totally green with javascript unfortunately. :P

    The "You Won" message -should- work out of the box with this contribution. There is also an enhanced version of the mail part of the script a few pages back.
