    [Contribution] SEO-G

    This is where I'm taken, having selected PayPal Express Checkout: Warning: main(express.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hsphere/local/home/mydomain/mydomain.com/catalog/root.php on line 125 Warning: main(express.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hsphere/local/home/mydomain/mydomain.com/catalog/root.php on line 125 Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'express.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/local/share/pear') in /hsphere/local/home/mydomain/mydomain.com/catalog/root.php on line 125 I've identified root.php as an additional file introduced with SEO-G. The following is the root.php code starting at line 125: require(basename($PHP_SELF)); } elseif( file_exists(basename($osc_parse['path']))) { $PHP_SELF = $HTTP_SERVER_VARS['PHP_SELF'] = $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] = $_SERVER['SCRIPT_NAME'] = $osc_parse['path']; if(basename($_SERVER['PHP_SELF']) == 'root.php' ) { exit(); } $g_script = basename($PHP_SELF); $g_seo_flag = true; require(basename($osc_parse['path'])); } else { // Script not found. Initiate redirection header("HTTP/1.1 " . SEO_DEFAULT_ERROR_HEADER); header('Location: ' . $g_relpath . SEO_DEFAULT_ERROR_REDIRECT); } exit(); ?> Does anybody know whether I'm on the right track ? I feel like I'm getting close Thanks for any help !
  2. I've tried installing Express and eventually figured out that payment zone had to be set to 'none' for it to appear at checkout. Unfortunately, this appears to be conflicting with the SEO-G contribution, as it keeps tripping over the root.php file installed with SEO-G. OK, so I tried PayPal standard and this presents a page prompting me to enter a value for the transaction i.e. it hasn't carried the total from checkout - it wants the customer to enter the figure. Has anybody else overcome this one? Cheers.

  4. This is what I've always had in my SEO-G Report section. Has anybody else come across this one? SEO-G Reports Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /hsphere/local/home/dotlemon/dotlemon.com/admin/includes/functions/database.php on line 99 This list contains all URLs in use by SEO-G. The Delete button erases the current list. Note this does not remove products, categories or other entities created by the G-Controller. Listed URLs are those used on the catalog. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (This is where, I imagine, some URLs should be appearing by now, but this parts blank)
  5. I've been getting strange output on my google sitemap contribution, like id=109 etc. but I have SEO-G installed and wanted to know if I'm best to leave the sitemap alone and let SEO-G take care of business?

    Can't load Paypal or paypal express

    Would anybody advocate removing the contribution and installing it all again? Or would this throw up more issues?

    Can't load Paypal or paypal express

    OK, I got it to show up by deselecting the 'use only for the UK' button to 'none'. But when I try to progress to the payments page I get: Warning: main(express.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hsphere/local/home/dotlemon/dotlemon.com/catalog/root.php on line 125 Warning: main(express.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hsphere/local/home/dotlemon/dotlemon.com/catalog/root.php on line 125 Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'express.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/local/share/pear') in /hsphere/local/home/dotlemon/dotlemon.com/catalog/root.php on line 125 Any Takers ?
  8. I've been using Nochex but wanted to add PayPal Express Checkout. Rang them up and they confirmed a few details, then proceeded to walk me through setting it up in OSCommerce (I've done this hundreds of times I'm told, and - we work very closely with OSCommerce, know it inside out). So installed PayPal Express Checkout contribution files and the option popped up in the payment module on the admin section. However, doing a test payment and at checkout, Nochex was still the only payment method. Disabled Nochex and no payment method showed up. So tried installing the PayPal that comes with the default 2.2 package - nothing. Found out that the ext folder had been uploaded to the wrong path - corrected that but still nothing. Anyone else encountered this 'No Show' scenario?

    I recently installed a SSL and now every page begins https:// so I thought it was high time to see what effect it had had on Google sitemap. The map generated now shows products as =id234 etc. I looked at SEO-G reports to make sure they're being generated OK and there's nothing there. Does anyone know if installing SSL can mess up SEO-G and thus Google sitemap ?

    Header Tags for novices

    Does anyone get this one at all? Using various meta tag analysis tools and spider simulators returns nothing in the descriptions and I wondered whether my SEO-G contribution is being indexed correctly. Am I having a problem with SEO-G or have I messed up the install of this contrib.? This is the opening HTML of my catalog/index.php - Any ideas? <html <?php echo HTML_PARAMS; ?>> <head><title><?php echo (strlen($categories['categories_name']) > 1) || (strlen($manufacturers['manufacturers_name']) > 1) ? $breadcrumb_tags->trail_tags(' ') . ' - ' . TITLE : TITLE; ?></title> <meta name="description" content="<?php echo strip_tags($breadcrumb_tags->trail_tags(' ')); ?>"> <meta name="keywords" content="<?php echo strip_tags($breadcrumb_tags->trail_tags(', ')); ?>"> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=<?php echo CHARSET; ?>"> <title><?php echo TITLE; ?></title> Thanks for any advice, Paul

    In the reports section there is nothing to clear. The heading eludes to a 'delete' button, but there isn't a button or any list of any kind, so I'm unable to flush it. ? Paul

    Hi Mark, I've just added TinyMCE and have held back from letting products go live until I've jazzed them up with a lick of HTML. I've got all the raw products in one holding category and the process is 1) move product to appropriate category; 2) edit product - applying HTML; 3) save and change from out of stock to in stock status. When I run the shop and find the product in the catagory list (page 2), and click on the product, I am returned to page 1, not taken to the product description page. It doesn't like the path. However, if I search for the product and click on that, all is well. Do I need to refresh SEO-G to catch all the products added after this contribution was added ? Thanks Mark, Paul
  15. Now that tinyMCE is installed, I see many possibilities. Unfortunately, they're all in mini widescreen. I wanted to use this contrib. to jazz up my product description box. When adding /editing products, does anyone know how to increase the visible size of the input product description box so i get more WYSIWYG on my monitor ? Many Thanks, Paul
