Everythign is installed like specified in teh contribution. What might be causing the fatal error. Thanks for the help

I installed the random qoutes contribution that can be found at http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1167 and i got the following error after everything was installed. Does any one know what might be causing this problem and how to solve the matter. 1054 - Unknown column 'status' in 'where clause' SELECT id FROM tekquotes WHERE status='1' [TEP STOP]
