  1. Hi, I had the same problem so stripped out FEC and went to a contrib that just combined the login and checkout pages (similar to what you see on screen now with FEC not working properly), then I stripped the other pages down to just what I needed (took out billing address etc). Works fine and is just about as good as FEC. Hope this helps. I am also finding STS is not allowing my cart to be fully secure, are you having this problem?
  2. Hi All, Just wondering if anyone is running QTpro with STS? I had STS installed and working correctly then installed QTPro and now I am getting and error "Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /var/users/mysite/domain/htdocs/includes/header.php on line 14" - this is running on a clean install of OSC MS2.2 Or maybe someone can help with stock... I installed QTPro because we are selling clothing so I need to track stock of red, small, 5 in stock, red, medium, 10 in stock etc for all sizes and all products!! whew! QTPro seemed to do this (if I can get it going)... is there something else out there that can do it? Thanks for your help, any advice is greatfully rec'd. Denise
  3. Hi Bill, Just to keep you up to date... I deleted my whole store today and reinstalled fresh, then added STS4 and it works sweet. I don't know what I did the first time, but it goes now. Anyhow, I have now installed QTpro and then your QTPro STS Hack you wrote and I am getting this error: Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /var/users/dzina/rubens.co.nz/htdocs/includes/header.php on line 14 so I cannot even view my site now.... do you have any idea what that is from? I am of course assuming QTpro and STS work together... Thanks Denise
  4. Hi Bill, Thanks for all your help. Now that you mention it, and I think about it more... I did install a contrib before I found STS (god bless sts) that was to customise the info boxes. It changed all the includes/boxes and includes/classes/boxes.php files... plus god knows what else (i think categories.php)... I wonder if that is doing it. I will dig deep when I get back to work on Monday and see what is up. Thanks for the PM... will check it out.
  5. Yeah I thought that so I reinstated the original OSC product_listing.php and still does not go.... sooo confused and don't want to have to start all over again. Any advice would be appreciated!
  6. Hi All, I am not sure what I have done :-" but I have installed several contribs so maybe one is conflicting with another. The main ones installed are STS, Easy Populate, FEC, infoBox_customizing_for_os_commerce, and "7 different views for your product listing table (changes the product_listing.php file)". But the add to cart button does not add to cart... it shows, but does nothing when clicked on. I have $addtocartbutton$ written, but does nothing. I am not sure if it ever worked or what. I know the cart works cause I can add to cart from the product_listing page (if there are no attributes) but on the product_info page, no go. What have I done wrong? Have I stuffed up some important file...??? HELP PLEASE, anyone, am at my wits end here! Thanks Denz
  7. Hi Antonio, No it is not. I had this probem as well. I downloaded this contrib http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,5421 and it worked sweet. He gives you 7 different templates... just upload the one you want. It was even in enough html for me to understand and modify... GL, it is a great one! Denz PS... still cannot get the cart to work... does it work for everyone else.. what have I done!?!?!?!?!?!
  8. Hi Chris, thanks for your reply. I found a module (Product_listings_1) that gave you 7 choices for this page and it worked a treat! But I have the problems with STS again... The cart button does not work .... does anyone know about this problem? Can someone help fix it? Shouldn't it have a URL... I am just using $addtocartbutton$ Thanks, Denise
  9. What a great contribution!!!! I have been searching ages for something like this, lots of them conflict with STS but this works great.... I even find it easy to modify myself!! THANKS Jehanne
  10. Hi All, I just installed STS yesterday and am loving it. I have customised the front page of my shop and have managed to get a separate template up for the product info but I want to customise the product listings page and do you think for the life of me I can get it to work. I have made a product_listing_php.html page and put it in my template/content folder... what do I have to do to make it work?? I have read over the manual several times but just don't get it, if someone could help I would be very appreciative! Thanks, Denz
  11. Ok, I am not sure how you uninstall it but I installed over top and still have the same problem. At one stage it got worse and I only had a , for shipping address - but that seemed to correct itself. The name does not even appear in the database - it seems there are different naming conventions...??? Here is what I did to install - I executed the english.sql file in my.net admin I uploaded all the php files in the correct directories as in the pwa download. Now it should go right, or am I missing something...???? HEEELLLPPP, please, anyone!!!!
  12. Thanks I will give it a go. I was not sure if that was what it does, or if there was an error or what. I will uninstall and start again!
  13. Hi Everyone, I have agonised over this for hours and cannot find what is going on.... I have installed PWA and now am getting the following errors: When purchasing online the customers name (first or last) is not being carried to checkout_shipping.php and There is no customers name on the orders page of the admin area - you get !! where the name should be. Needless to say it is not showing up on invoices, etc either. Help would be appreciated... I am sure it is something simple and stupid! Thanks in advance, Denz
