    Zip Code Per Product

Also I think there is a shipping by product contribution you could add. But if you do not know how to do this then I still suggest that you engage someone to do it for you.

    Zip Code Per Product

You have to add the zip code to the product table - there is a contribution that allows you to add extra fields. You then have to modify the shipping calculation to use that zip code instead of your main one.

    ### POINTS AND REWARDS MODULE V1.00 ###

Hi I wanted to download the full zip to see the screen shots but the URL did not see to work? My interest in this module at this point in time is to see if reward points can be varied by catefory of product purchased i.e. you get more for things from one category, less from another, none from another. That possible? thanks for you time

    ecs-world

Found someone who had written it. In true osCommerce spirit, he wants $400 for the code even though he was paid by a client(s) to develop it. Says it is "rare". We will develop it ourselves now if our own client wants and post it as a contribution. :)

sounds awful - which one were you talking about though ecs or the other one? but still has anyone developed it?

    Automated Auction Process

I have seen and done the listing oe eBay items and feedback for that matter. Bu this is a little more, right? There is an Admin side where you an enter your auction listing and that in some way makes entering the eBay auction easier? (Sorry if I am being dumb about this) and I guess it makes eBay payment easier?

    Australia Post module

Done all that and it makes no difference. I have an order that weight 0.12 kg. Tare weight is zero. Max package is 20. Shipping from 4055 to USA gets 15.27 Change to 4055 to 4061 and get 5.91. These prices seem odd to me.

    Proposal Request System

What you need to do is modify the wish list so that when it item is added an email is sent to your sales person. You need to add details to the wishlist table that can hold your quote details and develop an Admin program that allows a Sales person to enter the details and then I guess an email would be sent to the customer saying the quote had been prepared. They could then look at the item in their wishlist. I guess then of they wanted to buy it you need a process that moves it to their shopping cart. All the components are there in osCommerce to help you, you just need to know how to update databases and actually program. If you are not a programmer then I suggest you engage someone to do this for you as it will be much cheaper time wise. If you want to PM me about how to do that you are welcome.

    Australia Post module

Hi I installed this module and I have problems: 1. International Calculates really odd/high amounts. I think I might need to add the code mentioned above? 2. Domestic The amounts here seem odd too. Are the costs supposed to come up with the same costs as the AustPost calculator does? If so mine don't. I am thinking it adds GST - is that right? If so then GST is getting added twice to shipping there and at the end. I really have no idea what it is calculating - GST was just a guess. 3. 100 * 100 * 100 Am I right in understanding what you are all saying and that these have no impact on the calculation? My client cannot go live until I get this working. It is very worrying. Bottom line, is this supposed to work? Very confused about what to do. Can anyone help? Kym

It would be like an "email for price"? I think there is something like that around.

    Article Manager v1.0

I have loaded a file that works on another site and I still get the same message. For articles it is going to the No Product display and I get "in .... product_info.php Line 25 I know the problem is that it is going to this program when it shouldn't but why? Any takers? This is driving me nuts!

Twice I have done the manual update to Tell_A_Friend and twice I get parse errors I cannot work out. Can anyone just sent me the updated file? PM me if you can. thanks Kym
  23. Must still be tired :( Loading one file cannot get it to be recognised by the osCOmmerce - there has to be more to it so bear with me a moment. I loaded the seo_redirect file. I also opened it and read the comments. In the comments is says to insert the following line in application_top.php. include('includes/seo_redirect.php'); which makes sense as now the seo-redirect program will get called. The comments say "Find the SEO URLs code in application_top. Here is a small snippet:" I don't have that snippet. I figure it is from another contribution probably the cName/pName thing. You are telling me I don't need to have installed that one for this one to work. So I look for somewhere to add that line and I see the Search Engine Friendly URLS code "if (SEARCH_ENGINE_FRIENDLY_URLS == 'true') { ..." I guess I put the include here. But do I put the include before or after? Does it matter? How does it work with this feature which is part of standard osCommerce? Are they compatible or do you have to make sure no-one sets that flag to true? Thanks for your time
  24. Thanks. You really give great support to this contribution. I was probably too tired when I went to do it to realise that. :)
