  1. After having things work very well the past month or so, I now noticed a small problem. When a customer makes an order, the stock numbers, for some reason, are not showing up in google checkout. These numbers are extremely helpful to us, and we really would like them to show up. Anyone know how to get these bad boys back in there? I'm sure it's not a hard task, but it involves sending OSC info to google, and I really don't want to mess anything up here.... store: http://www.handlelatch.com/catalog/ Thanks!
  2. So I'm going to try again here...basically I want to replace the "Checkout" button in the shopping cart with the "GOOGLE CHECKOUT" button. I'll remove any links to My Account. This way the only option is to click Google Checkout. Can anyone at least lead me in the right direction here? I really don't know how this works.
  3. Alright. I have google check out integrated and it works great as it should However, I offer ONLY google checkout. I see no need to make users register through OSC at all. As it is now, when you want to checkout and buy a product you can either sign in (if you're previously registered with my OSC cart), create a new account, or go straight to google checkout - depending what selection you choose. If you sign in or register, you are taken through the OSC checkout, but then it brings you right back to your shopping cart (because google checkout is the only option). No order is generated through OSC, it just spits you back out where you were. Here, again, you have the option to click checkout or GOOGLE checkout. You can go in this circle forever, if you don't know to hit the google checkout button. My customers may never know what to do. So, I want to know what steps I must take to completely get rid of the OSC checkout processes and registration. I only want to be able to click google checkout. Or if I do click the checkout button, I want it to go to the same place that the google checkout button goes. does this make sense? Thanks to anyone who can help. My cart: www.handlelatch.com/catalog
  4. sorry I figured it out myself. For some reason, Programmer's Notepad didn't copy and paste correctly...it did it all in one single line, so most of the code I replaced was commented out! Fixed.
  5. Seems that everything is mostly fine here.... However in the Admin panel, I cannot get my changes to google Checkout to save after I update the fields with my Google merchant ID, etc. When I hit update, it just goes back to the default values, as if I hadn't changed anything... any ideas?
  6. I'm assuming the last couple posts here mean that this contrib DOESN'T work correctly with MS2?
  7. Hey guys, just figured this out.... The OSPLAYER isn't working in IE for some reason, even with Flash player 9 installed. It sticks on LOADING.... forever. BUT, if I right click, I see that "loop" is checked. If I click "play", the player opens...but with no files listed to play...and "undefined" scrolls across when I click the play button....does anyone know about this??
  8. alright, again on this. another friend of mine said on his computer, it just stuck on loading the entire time (same problem the other guy had)... anyone know what is causing this?
  9. he said, nothing would get past loading..... maybe it was just computer specific, oh well...haha
  10. ah and reading back, one guy says "The player just stays on the 'loading' image forever, never opening up and changing to the actual player." maybe a flash issue?
  11. hmmm, that could be I suppose. I guess I was thinking that maybe the server was not letting people download it fast enouhg for it to "stream" in the osplayer.... ?
  12. I've been getting complaints from people that the mp3s aren't loading well inside OSPlayer.... (see here: https://host523.ipowerweb.com/~midwestb/store/catalog/ ). I occasionally see this problem too...this is more than likely a server issue, not osplayer..right? anything i can do here?
  13. is this what you mean by osc player: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...,all/search,mp3 ? if so, the version 2.0 is only a screenshot of the player - it says to check out his website for the package, but the website is down... :( - this is what made me make this post actually, haha. if this ISNT the osc-player that you are describing, can you link me? thanks
  14. ah crap, I just realized what happened...my spam filter on gmail thought it was spam. shoot. haha.
