Why does PayPal IPN Module malfunction on PHP 5.3 server?

@@DunWeb looks like all the up-to-date versions aren't in English... fun huh? http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2679

Why does PayPal IPN Module malfunction on PHP 5.3 server?

@@DunWeb I have a number of MS2 installations working perfectly fine on PHP 5.3.x servers, with the only exception being this IPN issue. It's not really an option at this point to start from scratch or lose functionality not available in RC, so solving this one issue seems like the best option. Thanks.

Why does PayPal IPN Module malfunction on PHP 5.3 server?

Has anyone sorted this out? I've found that OSC stores on PHP 5.2 tend to work fine, but once the servers are upgraded to PHP 5.3 the IPN no longer transmits back to the store properly. Any ideas?
  4. I've made a few of the changes B!!! suggests on page 20 of this thread which resolved almost all the issues I was having. One outstanding thing I noticed in testing iOSC for my store is that when on the mobile version, if a product has attributes associated with it, all attributes are displayed whether or not that attribute has inventory (I use QTPro for this on the "classic" version). Any solutions or ways to get QTPro working on the mobile version? Thanks!

Problem: USPS Methods Switching To Cheapest Option

With further testing, looks like this problem only occurs with Domestic options. International options are retained throughout the checkout process. Any ideas?

Problem: USPS Methods Switching To Cheapest Option

USPS Methods 5.2.1 didn't work at all... I think it's for RC2 not MS2 maybe?
  7. I am using USPS Methods 5.0.0 on OSC 2.2-MS2 and have gotten all the recent postal nightmares resolved EXCEPT if a customer selects a higher priced option (i.e. Priority), it will automatically change their shipping option to whatever the lowest priced option is (i.e. First Class) when on the checkout confirmation page. Any ideas how to resolve this? Thanks!

PAYPAL IPN RETURNS TO EMPTY CART ON SUCCESS?

I sandbox tested my ipn.php and it's giving a 500 Server Error message. If I test checkout_process.php (which Paypal told me should be used) it gives an "IPN Sent Successfully" message. I REALLY need to resolve this problem as it's now impacting two stores I've installed. Satish, could I give you access to one of them perhaps??

PAYPAL IPN RETURNS TO EMPTY CART ON SUCCESS?

I have auto-return turned on, pointing to checkout_process.php. Is that correct? I'm using PayPal Shopping Cart IPN v3.1.5. If you could tell me the IPN notification URL, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

PAYPAL IPN RETURNS TO EMPTY CART ON SUCCESS?

Not sure if this is related, but I've noticed on stores that aren't handling IPN notifications properly I'm also seeing code like this added to URLs as customers browse the store: &osCsid=1a29ba8806e70988ee729d3abe4d63e3 I've compared the settings under "Sessions" in the Admin between a store doing this and one that isn't and they're both set to "False" for every option... could this be the culprit?
  11. Does your module/app work with OSC 2.2 MS2?

PAYPAL IPN RETURNS TO EMPTY CART ON SUCCESS?

So how would I go about making sure it sends the session ID back to the store? Thanks Satish for the help!

PAYPAL IPN RETURNS TO EMPTY CART ON SUCCESS?

    Anyone?
  15. I am running Paypal IPN on an an MS2 OSC store. I have used the EXACT same code on the same host for another site successfully, but for some reason I am having a problem on this particular install. When a customer pays via Paypal (my only option) and complete the transaction successful on Paypal.com, they are shown a "click to return to" button. When that button is clicked, they are momentarily sent to checkout_success.php but are redirected to shopping_cart.php with a "Your Shopping Cart is empty!" message displayed. On the administrative side of things, the order doesn't process completely and is set to Pending, not displaying the IPN data nor deducting the product from inventory (thus the main issue with this problem). I've tried changing the Paypal Module settings from GET to POST to NO IPN with no difference in the problem. I've also hardcoded the checkout_success.php URL into modules/payment/paypal.php but nothing changed. It seems the session ID isn't being passed back correctly? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Also: can I bypass the "click to return to" button in Paypal with an auto-return? If so, where is that setting? In OSC I don't see it so it's in Paypal? Thanks!
