  1. Thanks very much for your answer. The only thing that matters to me that this is not hapening on a live server. Therefor I will stay with XAMP, take the consequences of the DOS boxes and not having to go to the trouble of de-installing XAMP and installing easyPHP. Maybe most important of all; I can use your contribution! Thanks again. :D Cees Doets The Netherlands
  2. Hello, I have just installed Basic Design Pack 1-9 contribution 3570. It works, out of the box! There is one problem. Each time I click on something, a few DOS boxes flash over my screen before displaying the new page. I am running OSCommerce local on my Win XP PC with XAMP 2.3. What are those DOS boxes? It happens with IE aswell as Firefox. I completely erased my PC and installed WinXp from scratch.. no solution. I erased the BDP files and the problem is gone. I saw some advise to use easyphp instead of XAMP. Does this really help? It looks like a work-around, not a solution. Since I am a beginner with OScommerce, Xamp and PHP, I am a bit worried. Thanks in advance for you comments. Cees The Netherlands
  3. I do not understand that there is no reply. Does this mean I am teh only one with this problem? Is my English too poor? Thanks in advance for your help, Cees The Netherlands
  4. Hello, I have just installed Basic Design Pack 1-9 contribution 3570. It works, out of the box! I am considering to start over again with a clean installation. Before I do that, I have two questions. 1. Each time I click on something, a few DOS boxes flash over my screen before displaying the new page. I am running OSCommerce local on my Win XP PC with XAMP 2.3. What are those DOS boxes? Are they 'invissible' after hosting this on a proper server? Is the site slower? 2. I am pretty shure that this subject is already discussed somewhere on this forum. I have been looking all over but ... How could I have found the answer on this forum? Thanks in advance for you comments, Cees The Netherlands
