OK, have used ultimate SEO URLs for a while and thought I'd try this pro version (looks good). I have used a completely fresh copy of oscommerce 2.2 on my server, and have tried both methods - Copy over and manual install. Although it appears to install properly (I see the rewritten urls on the links and the options are all available in the admin section). However, when I click on the link, the page does not redirect. This is what I have tried so far; Upgraded my PHP to 5.3.6 and MySQL to 5.1.56 (which was a nightmare in itself!!). Tried all the uri formats (which surely eliminates a problem with the htaccess file?) Set the permissions on the two cache folders to 0777. Reset the cache in admin. Have checked and double checked the file changes according to the manual. Has anybody got any ideas what I can check next??

  5. That's the one - simply not OSC friendly. All working fine now. Thanks
  6. Hoping someone can help. I am playing with the code and want to add filters to product listings. Because I want to be able to include multiple filters and arrays, it would be better to create a POST form rather than the standard GET form that the product listing query uses (limited charcters in URL and passing array issues). I have changed the coding in the 'products' section of the index.php, but am having a problem with passing the form variables. It appears that I need to have the SEO URL version of the path in the form action (eg. mysite.com/my_product_name-c-22_24.html) rather than the standard osc path (mysite.com/index.php?cPath=24). Is there someone of rewriting the path in the tep_draw_form function so it will rewrite the url into the form itself. I have tested this by hard coding the <form> field to the SEO URL version of the path, and the variable is passed OK, but will not pass if the standard osc path is used. It appears to me that this is definitely a SEO URL issue, and that I somehow need to rewrite the URL in the tep_draw_form funtion. Any one got any ideas?
  7. Am very interested to see this contribution in action. Has anyone got an example to look at? Would be greatly appreciated.

    FCK WYSIWYG HTML editor

Downloaded latest autoinstaller and ftp'd to root - Downloaded fck editor 2.6 and ftp'd to admin - Changed images folder to 777. When I point to the autoinstaller folder, I get a black page. Everything as far as server location, etc appears to be fine, so am thinking it may be tripping up on a server issue. Am running dedicated *nix server with Centos 5, and have upgraded php to 5.2.11. Are there any other php/apache requirements that the autoinstaller and fck editor requires?

I would prefer to have a rewritten URL look like www.mystore.com/one-of-my-products-238.html where the 238 is the product id. Is there anyway of removing the -p- and -c- in the rewritten URL (can't seem to find where the URL rewrite rule is in the scripts)? I realise that the URL requires the id number, but does it need the p and c to preceed it?

I have FEC 3.2 and Discount Coupon Code 3.2. I would really appreciate some help. Thanks

  13. Great Contribution - Exactly what I was looking for. I am in the first stage of integrating it into my site, and would like to change one aspect. I would like to swap the shipping address toggle around, so I can tick the box if I want to ship to a different address. At the moment, the form can't be written to when the box is ticked. The reason for this is that I want to add an ajax function so that I can expand and show the shipping address form only when the box is ticked. Can anyone tell me which code to change to swap this function around (ship to same address when unticked). BTW, Merry Christmas everyone!!!

    Header Tags SEO

Thanks for the help. However, I don't think I explained the problem properly. The Part I want to move to the front is not a keyword, but the actual name of the product that the code extracts from a query. The instructions that I have read about sort order only appear to be about ordering the defined keywords. I need the php array redefined. I'll have a look myself and let you know if I find it.

    Header Tags SEO

Sorry, can't see any reference to Sort Order in the Page Control. I am happy using the default settings in product_info.php, I just want to put the product name BEFORE the default Title/Description/Keyword. For instance, currently my title for one of my products is; Fancy Dress Costumes - Costume Fun - UK's leading online Fancy Dress Shop - Adult Pirate Costume I want this to read; Adult Pirate Costume - Fancy Dress Costumes - Costume Fun - UK's leading online Fancy Dress Shop I can't see any settings within the Page Control section that allows me to change this order. I am assuming that I will have to change some code within the php files. Can anyone either clarify how to change the sort order in the Page Control section or let me know which part of the code to change so I can have this set up as the default setting. Thanks
