    CSS Menu

    Since you work with STS or another version of osCommerce besides the standard version, this php-file has been changed. As I look to your code you have to change 'categories' somewhere in your configuration.

    Because you have the CSS already loaded you could define the block as: <div class='suckerdiv'> <ul id='suckertree1'> <li><a href="mynewitem.html">Your item goes here</a></li> </ul>

    I'm developing our E-shop with live data at the moment with 940 categories and 19320 products without problems in the menu. I have disabled the showproducts-option, because we won't need it. Our testserver isn't the fastest, but everything is showing up within 4 seconds. I'm only struggling the first time I call the page which takes about 20 seconds. I'm not sure if its the problem of the menu, or just another internal networktraffic problem.

    The submenu's look just fine in my browser (FF 1.5.0.8 in 1280x1024). The mouse works also perfectly in FF 1.5.0.8. Maybe someone else could test in an other version or browser...

    Did you follow the CSSmenu-instructions? Or only the STS-instructions? Because you have to change the pointer to categories_css.php.

    Hi Tallwang... I suppose you have setup ShowEmptyCategories to false? I can reproduce the same error at our test-server. To fix this problem, please search for: if ($parentID == 0) $returnval .= "</div>"; return $returnval; And change this to: if ($parentID == 0) $returnval .= "</div>"; return str_replace("<ul></ul>", "", $returnval); You just have to copy the second line, because there is no change in the first line, but I've copied it because there are two lines containing return $returnval; This fix will be included in the next release. Hopefuly this works for you... :thumbsup: Fear4Me :D

    If you select your text, you will notice there is a white "1" just before your categories-image which is the cause of the space.

    Hi, You could try changing .suckerdiv ul{ margin: 0; padding: 0; list-style-type: none; width: 155px; /* Width of Menu Items */ border-bottom: 1px solid #ccc; font-family: arial; font-size: 11px; } to something like: .suckerdiv ul{ margin: 0; padding: 0; list-style-type: none; width: 120px; /* Width of Menu Items */ border-bottom: 1px solid #ccc; font-family: arial; font-size: 11px; } Maybe you could experiment by changing the width to a %-value, but a numeric-value would be more precise. :thumbsup: Fear4Me :thumbsup:

    I've just uploaded v0.3, which includes an optimized (multi-language) version of Fugazi's function to show products in the menu. It is also possible to add the option to show productcounter in categories, like the default osCommerce behaviour. This setting is inherited from the osCommerce admin panel (Show Category Counts). I also included the STS-instruction posted in this forum.

    I'll release version 0.3 today, which includes the count-function and also includes the Aguzi-addition to show products in the menu, which I made also language-dependend. Both will be available through settings in the categories_css.php . :thumbsup: Fear4Me

    CSS Menu

    Look in categories_css and look for: /* menu links style */ .suckerdiv ul li a{ display: block; color: black; text-decoration: none; background-color: #eee; padding: 1px 5px; border: 1px solid #ccc; border-bottom: 0; line-height: 2em; } You can change the bordercolor of the items by changing the color at the border-part.

    Working here with 1.5 and 2.0 and everything looks just perfect. Please send me a screenshot so I can analyze your problem. What do you want with products_model and products_name? These aren't used in CSS menu.

    CSS Menu

    You could fix this, by adding the following between the <style>-tag in categories_css.php : .suckerdiv { position: relative; z-index: 999; }

    Your backgroundcolor looks like changed... maybe your browser caches your site?

    CSS Menu

    You could add it to the contribution, because I think other people would love your addition. I'm probably not going to add this feature in a future release, but IF, I'll add this one with a setting to switch it on or off. Thanks for your additional work! If you are able to add a parameter for enable of disable this feature, this piece of code can be used by all other (future) users of CSSMenu. Roger
